Ofelia had thrown down the challenge, now all that was left to do was take them down slowly and surely and destroy them piece by piece. She was getting excited, how long had it been since she brawled a monster in this manner, and her excitement actually caused her to....forget for a second what was going on and totally miss after a first swipe.
"Well, s**t." The first hit was always the best one, or maybe the worst one? God she hoped she could take this thing down.

Night grinned as her attack missed, ears flicking back and forth in silent laughter.
"Is this really a challenge right now?" Night's ears flicked again as his bad luck FEAR formed on his gloves, glowing green. Cat eyes seemed to mirror his hands as he lunged, punching the huntress. "Didn't they teach you to never cross a black cat's path Huntress?"

"Don't get too cocky, kitty kitty. We've jus' gotten started. Yer in mah sandbox now." It was really hard for her to act tough and bluff when the cat creature had gotten a super nice hit on her without much difficulty. She needed to pay attention. She needed to attack and take this thing down.
Rue agreed, purring so happily, at everything that had happened. The strike was a strong one, a true one, and Ofelia felt sort of refreshed to know she still had it in her.

The problem with attacking close is that it left him open for her attack, something he felt as she hit him with her weapon. FFFFFFFFFF.
"I'm always cocky huntress, Sometimes Lady Luck really likes me..." Night grinned as the FEAR didn't diminish, "And sometimes she really likes me..." Another jab at the huntress.

"Luck be a lady tonight then, fer ya at least." The words were meant more as a way of maybe saying sorry, since as soon as she finished speaking she moved her hands forward and drove a heard punch into the creature's shoulder. Rue was practically screaming in delight at the taste of FEAR, commanding more and more.
This fight...was probably over though, or it would be soon. There was nothing left to do here, she needed to get back, but before she went she'd have to get pass the creature she'd severely wounded.

How the hunter kept managing to hit him so hard was beyond the Cat boil but...this would be his last hit before he returned to the Barrier. He had friends that were more important then messing around with a redheaded funny talking Huntress.
"Sorry huntress, But I don't wanna play this gamble anymore. I'm folding my hand and rolling out..." And like that the cat was gone.
