He first began his wrestling career in February 2006 in a Twisted Flow ring, where he surprised the audience by defeating his first opponent Raye Vynn. Though starting his career of nicely, he quickly hit rock bottom as he began losing match after match.
His career picked up once again as he also went into other wrestling promotions. One in particular was XWA, where he picked up a small winning streak; however, soon after XWA closed and Cyrus soon had to stop wrestling to heal some small injury's he had received during his matches.
Three months later, right before the new year 07, Cyrus was back and he was anxious to get back into the ring. This was big return for Cyrus because short after he was able to receive the Intercontinental championship in the Twisted Flow. This would be a lucky month for Cyrus, he won the same championship two more times, one in SD! vs. RAW and another in Open Ending.
The next few months would be about the same for Cyrus as he won a few battles and lost a few. Finally, things would pick up as he won his next Intercontinental championship in DUW. Around this time he also picked up his first Tag team championship in the Wrestling Effect. Things would soon slow down when both DUW and the Wrestling Effect would close, and he would also lose his Intercontinental championships.
The next few months Cyrus's luck would go through the roof when he won two Hardcore championships, both being in reopening promotions, one in Unlimited and the other in the Wrestling Effect. If that weren't enough he would win the Royal Rumble in the WWF.
The next few months would be a roller coaster of ups and downs for Cyrus. He lost both of his hardcore championships. On a much better note, after the smoke cleared in the WrestleMania main event, Cyrus was standing tall and around his waist was his first world championship. Cyrus would then be known as "The Champion of Dreams."
Soon after WrestleMania Cyrus competed in a four-man elimination match-up between himself, the WWF and Intercontinental champion, Rhamm, King Cart, who held both the NWA and ECW championships, and GBL. When the smoke cleared on this incredible match-up, Cyrus walked away holding all four World Championships including the Intercontinental Championship. The four titles would then become the Undisputed Championship.
Around the same time, in Unlimited, Cyrus shocked audiences when he claimed that the Dream was over for WWE:Unlimited. What was even more shocking was the way he completely destroyed his opponent, Atma. He followed up with a few more matches; losing once against David Maker, due to interference from the man Cyrus would be feuding with, Vince Caputo.
Huzzah! The long await for the reopening of the Twisted Flow was finally over. The TF original was very glad to finally make his way back home to the Twisted Flow and enter it's ring once again. He has high hopes to become the Twisted Flows first world champion since it's reopening.
Back to the WWF, Cyrus has been very successful. After the four way to become Undisputed champion, Cyrus won a rematch against former World Heavyweight champion, Jarel, to retain the WWF Undisputed World Championship. He would then be scheduled against former WWF champion, Rhamm, in the first ever Year of Hell match, a match where 2 of 3 fall would win the match, the last round being the Glass Cell, a evil creation of General Manager, TJH.
For the first time in history, Cyrus won the Twisted Flow's World Championship, this would be the first time it's been held since reopening. The falling night he claimed that this was his dream ever since he started the FFA. He claims that winning the championship was the happiest day of his life.
A little bit after this time, we see Cyrus's spirit in both WWE:U and the WWF has been nearly dried out completely. In WWE:U, he lost his biggest chance at redemption in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. In the WWF, the night directly after he defended his undisputed championship in an awesome Year Of Hell Match he lost it to Rhamm in a triple threat match.
Cyrus took it slow the month of December. He took a break from the WWF to rest and then returned around the end of the month to take River's place in the Rev vs. Rivers match. Mean while he joined GAF and was able claim the Violence Championship as his own.
The Dream hits off the ending of the year of the dream and the beginning of 2009 strong. In the WWF he picks up wins against Rhamm and Rev, if that weren't enough he finds himself booked in a match against King Kartwright for the Undisputed World Championship at the Royal Rumble. As the Twisted Flow World champion he faces off against Edge in a harsh ladder match, when the smoke cleared, Cyrus was able to walk away still holding the gold. He will later move on into Exile to face Johnny Rotten, defending his World Championship. At the same time in Unlimited, Cyrus and Seita Grey defeat Christina after her partner fails to make it to the ring. Cyrus will finally get his chance to unleash his fury on Christina at Backlash, and he couldn't be any happier...
Things begin to slow down completely at this point. Cyrus defeats Christina at Backlash, but has yet to be seen in Unlimited after doing so. He fails in capturing the Undisputed championship at the Royal Rumble after receiving a cheap shot from King Kart. The feud continues to go on between Johnny Rotten and Cyrus, but Exile has yet to open. The only redeeming point of this time is in ICW. Cyrus is able to pull together the talents of the business to create a faction called The New World's Alliance consisting of himself, Nathan Mensah, Phoenixfire, Tiki, and Figgins.
Things have been going well lately as Cyrus still holds the Twisted Flow's World Championship. He also was able to capture WWE:U's X-Division and Hardcore Championships, then holding the X-Treme Championship when both are merged.
Cyrus made a short return to gaia pro wresting, winning the WWFG Deific Championship and starting a feud with Jed in WWE: Evolution which never took off.
Cyrus has made constant attempts to stay active in his wrestling career recently. But life always has other plans. For now all he can do is apologize to his former opponents and friends. Hopefully soon The Dream will be back to fulfill his own dreams in the wrestling universe.
