Eri had been too long from the quite peace of the lake. He wanted nothing more than to see Genevieve Sue again. She was a calming presence in the ever chaotic world he lived in. Eri’s mind was still reeling a bit from the fact that he now had siblings. They were of course sweet and kind, but still the idea that he and his brothers weren’t his parent’s only children anymore seemed a bit hard for him to grasp. Then there was his mother’s wish. Not to have the foals grow up anywhere near the six. Having had two of his brothers grow up to be fine stallions with their father Eri couldn’t quite understand it all. He did want his little brothers and sisters not to have to deal with the hardships that the six imposed but what if they grew up and decided they wanted to join the six? It would break their mother’s heart. Shaking his head he tried to rid himself of the worries. They wouldn’t stop he wanted, no he needed to get away from it all and take an objective look at things. That was why he was here. This lake, this quite paradise that belonged to Genevieve Sue seemed to the only place in the world he could go and not feel like he was drowning. Finally when he arrived at the lake the first place he stopped was the field of flowers Genevieve Sue had shown him before. Smiling he leaned down and reveled in the sweet scent of the flowers. He really had been gone from here too long.
