[PRP] Err.. Rematch? (Bix & Ofie) [FIN]

Bix wasn't real fond of the twitter thing, the drama and the catty conversations, but he'd been checking it lately to sort of get back into the social loop and Ofie had asked to fight.

Training fields. Rematch?

She'd whooped him last time. Perhaps he'd do better this time around?  

[Rown]

It took a little bit but a text finally came back.

There was a lapse in time too, perhaps a pause of ten or so minutes, before another text came through.

There was silence after that.

Bix waited. Checked his phone. Waited again.

Sorry for what?

The message came again and Ofelia was not far behind it. She was soaked to the bone, hair and clothing sticking to her.

Bix made a face, partly amused and partly concerned. Everytime he saw Ofie there was something strange going on, whether it be a beatdown and bruises or sundresses... now it was soaking with water.

"What happened exactly?"

Oh also.. his hair is gone. All cut. Did I mention that?

It took Ofelia a few minutes of standing in front of Bix, dripping water from her clothing and hair, to finally open her mouth and respond. As she did a mouthful of water gushed forth and splashed at his feet, prompting the teen to finally gasp and choke for fresh air. If she'd been holding the water in as a joke it was weird of her to take it so far but the state of her appearance wasn't suggesting she'd been playing. A hand moved up and rubbed her lips, finally pushing upward to move the soggy hair out of her face.

"Mmnanandfjff....Ah was testin' ta see if Rue would prevent me from drownin'." The teen coughed again, another mouthful of water. "Ah'm...not sure'a the answer jus' yet, Ah'll get back ta ya. Or...not, if she isn' able ta." She spit to the side at the end of her sentence, a gray eye squinting against the light as she took Bix in.

She stared.

And stared.

And then it hit her.

". . . .didja hurt yer head? What happened ta yer hair?" She was slow on the uptake. So very slow. Of course though not that she noticed she was more at his side, hands right away reaching up and touching his skull. "Yer hair. . . " Ofelia had loved Bix's hair, to see it short like this was saddening.

Bix ducked away from Ofie's hand, his own darting to this shorn locks instead. The albino took a self conscious step back and fluffed the short hair a bit. "Lost the braid on a mission so.... I cut it all off."

Apparently he was still a bit uneasy with it, the way he darted away from her.

"Well I'd say your weapon did an okay enough job if you are still alive." he summoned his bow. "Never thought much about drowning though. You ready?"

Apparently he just wanted to spar, chit-chat was on the backburner for the moment.

Ofelia wasn't offended when Bix pulled away nor was she put off by his lack of talking. Something seemed off, maybe he was hurt by his loss of hair, and a small part of her brain told her to stay quiet and just spar.

Of course her brain didn't tell her that losing to make him feel better was not an option, so there was always that escape route if needs be.

But wouldn't that make him more upset? Meh. Rue was summoned and Ofelia knocked her knuckles together. "Ready whenever ya are."

Bix held up his hands in a shrug, bow balanced on his fingers. "C'mon then.."

He wasn't rushing in to her, that would be his downfall. Instead he bounced on his toes, dancing steps away from her, and waiting for the red head to make the first move.

Fighting wasn't so bad, it was sort of freeing, and fighting was the first step towards an adventure. Ofelia took a deep breath and plotted what to do next, taking her time to study before stepping forward.

Her strike made contact, that much she was sure of, and it wasn't much of a shallow hit. Since she had 'leveled up' in terms of being here at Deus she felt a bit better about most things, but. . . .well, whatever. Thinking didn't really have much of a place inside sparring.

Bix tried to backpedal away from Ofie but her fist connected with him easily. He was trying to work on his close combat and so instead of fleeing, running from her hits, he stood his ground.

Bix swung his bow, almost like a quarter staff, and hit her solidly in the gut. Bix didn't hold back with his strength. She'd beaten him too badly the last time for him to play it safe.

At the strike Ofelia staggered backward, her shield hissing and Rue screeching in the back of her head. Apparently her inability to dodge had pissed off the Boo Hag enough to merit some noise, and the teen shook her head faintly before preparing to attack back. Water droplets clouded her vision but she figured she would know the way. A few coughs ended her plan of thought and she moved to strike back.

It was a weak hit, the water was taking away her depth perception a lot more than she would have liked. A groan of frustration escaped from her mouth as she tried to move her bangs back and out of her face only to have them flop back down and stick to her skin.

" . . . . . " She would have said something but seeing as Bix was hitting like a damn truck speaking would have been unwise. Instead she moved to brace herself, preparing for another hit from her friend.

Bix frowned, ready to say sorry when he saw how hard Ofie had taken the hit. He graze barely nicked him and he had enough time to shove her back but no solid hit.

The archer stood a few feet away, ready again for her next advance.

Her hair was still in the way as Bix slightly knocked her backward and it took everything the teen had not to use Rue's blade to just sever off her bangs entirely. Self-styled haircuts weren't something new to her, she used to cut her hair off randomly all the time, but now wasn't the time for it and she was in the middle of a battle. She brushed her hair back one more time and took a step forward, twisting her head quickly so her vision wasn't impeded.

That turned out to be a lucky move for her since as soon as she caught sight of the Albino she couldn't help but smirk and speak (despite wanting to stay silent). "Gotcha." Her words were limited and short but the point came across well as she smashed her fist against her sparring partner and his shield. It was a good hit, not as good as the one he'd laid on her, but it would do for now.

Rue's screechings had turned into a song now, her humming tone mixing in and out with amorous moans. It was time to strike hard but first she needed to survive whatever was thrown her way next.

Bix grunted as he took the strong punch but instead of shying away he once again pressed forward, bracing her arm against the shaft of his bow, locking it in a strong grip, and wrenching it. It may not have been an arrow or a punch but her arms were her weapons and so the strong twist on her joint had to hurt.

Mina's hissing rose as she readied for her charge, and this time he did back away.
