Apparently here is an update available for the 3DS. I don't think it does anything major though. Quoting from NintendoLife: Quote: We take this to mean that the new update will block even more devious methods to mod or steal content on 3DS systems, which is a good thing. If any of you notice any 'enhancements to the user experience', meanwhile, please let us know. The post from NintendoLife

I find it sad people think of modding and destroying their 3DS' gonk
What do they mean by 'enhancing the user experience?' Like when people mod to "enhance" or when people get enhancements from the eShop?

Though I honestly wish they'd hold off on the anti-hacker updates until they have something real to update :/

I figured I'd tack this on here, I noticed there was another small update that didn't seem to do much. It seems like its largely Nintendo being really tough on Flash carts. I think its gotten so its not worth using them. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2012/09/3ds_system_update_locks_out_a_lot_of_flashcards_permanentlyI'm only sad about it preventing people from playing games that were never released in their country. But honestly, I've never had the patience to play a game using a translation even if it was something I really wanted.

So that's what that update was all about...I guess even they have too much time on their hands now.
