A witch lived in these woods, dark and foggy, at least that's how the rumors went, many stars claimed to catch a glimpse of the witch as they passed, but no one had fully seen her, or knew what she was here for good or bad. but the rumors of a powerful witch kept many away. Archernar was undaunted, he stood proudly before the woods, he would solve this mystery and make his father and mother proud by his fearlessness. He wanted to show them he would live up to their expectations, his mothers extremely high, for both him and his sister... sometimes it felt rather daunting to keep up to them. His ears lowered for a moment.

Archernar stared at the foggy woods, the edge of the moonlight herd territory it looked mysterious more so, he began listening to all the sounds, coming from the woods, crows and ravens cawed, he couldn't hear any song birds even though it was the middle of the day, strange. The thought crossed his mind to return home, but he quickly removed it from his mind... he couldn't go home yet.

Blue-grey hooves struck the ground as he ventured into the thick woods his cyan eyes taking in the detail of the path he'd chosen, certain he was he wouldn't loose himself in these woods, they were like any other woods the colt thought as he had ventured further from his father, he knew he would have to leave home someday, mother expected it. How could he say he was scared? he kept telling himself that, in truth the colt couldn't comprehend life without his mother and father, unable to understand the concept of an adult. His mother wanted him to be a herd leader, and his sister would be sent to the desert for what mother hadn't exactly explained...

He didn't like it being so far from his sister, the colt gaze had wandered as his mind busied itself, he lowered his ears fearfully the woods had gotten extremely dark hardly any sun pierced the canopy the trees were thick, he didn't recognize this place any longer, mentally scolding himself for getting caught up in thought.

He would have to find the way out of here, but he couldn't remember how many turns he had taken...
