Viscen even set up a nice little headquarters at his favorite spot in town next to some training zones. The young warrior ventured over to get some practice with his bow. How else was he going to kill the time? He had to keep up his skills to prove his worth to Drake. Before he could fire the first arrow he just notched, a couple of cloaked figures approached the bandit leader. “We’ve got bad news.” Viscen groaned at being interrupted. "Can't you see I’m busy? Have Barsch or someone who actually gives a s**t take care of it." “That’ll be you if you’d just hear us out, a*****e,” one of the shadowy men griped. Glaring Viscen took aim at him. "Say that again. I dare ya." Nipping this tomfoolery in the bud, the other figure spoke up. “A large army, presumably belonging to Learania, was spotted heading this way. It looks troublesome.” "For ******** sake, not this again," he growled in annoyance at remembering the first time the Sentrian bandits took over this damn city. The boy didn't want to lose. Again. Drake would be pissed for sure. Viscen lowered his bow and thought for a moment. Could they handle a massive army with their current numbers? Doubtful with these insubordinate assholes around. There had to be some way to get an advantage. Suddenly an idea popped into the youthful leader’s head. A sly grin appeared on his face. "Tell everyone to start up plan B. We'll head out when the Learanians get into view. We can get reinforcements back home." The teenage boy’s scheming smile never left his face as he returned his arrow to its quiver and slung his bow over his shoulder. So much for archery practice. At least he could get revenge for his embarrassment so long ago.
After their hurried preparations were complete and the massive army could be spotted, Viscen’s group fled towards Sentria. If all went according to plan, the bait would be taken.▀-.-.▀▀-.-▀▀▀-.▀▀▀▀-▀▀▀▀-▀▀▀▀-.▀▀▀-.-▀▀-.-.▀ ۞ -.-. you can't ħєℓp your ħαℓℓucιηα†ιηg мιηđ -.-. ۞ you can't ħєℓp your ħαℓℓucιηα†ιηg мιηđ when you start to †яємЬℓє in the scσяcħιηg ωιηđ

"You can't blame yourself. Blaming yourself and falling into depression, it won't change anything. You have to look →forward→. Remember what you have here now. Just think; if you hadn't come here, you wouldn't have met anyone here from Elibe or anywhere else!" {Amelia}The march had been long, but not entirely unpleasant. Amelia was relieved to be back in the company again, out of offices and carriages off to inspect villages in ceremonial armor (since appearances were vital, after all), and back in her utilitarian Learanian-blue breastplate and accoutrements. The wound on her side was now merely a puckered scar, a reminder of her failed defenses and Drake's superior strength. Time and increasingly-intense training had brought her stamina and power back to her after weeks upon weeks of bedrest, and she instinctively clenched her fists, feeling the lean muscles tighten along her forearms. This time, though... this time... She tightened a gauntlet as Sentria loomed on the horizon, and a small ghost of a smile appeared for a few seconds. "Time for these bastards to get what's comin' to 'em," she muttered, reaching back and tightening the strip of leather that held her hair in a ponytail before turning to face the company.
"Soldiers! You know what we've spent all this time rebuilding and training for! It's time to take back what's ours! The Sentrian bandits have defiled what is rightfully ours for too long! Sentria will learn that we cannot be defeated for long! We will rise up until they cannot match us! We will win!" Amelia lifted her Spear high in the air, the tip catching the sunlight for a moment to make it gleam. "It's time to reclaim Pentheus!" The soldiers cheered in approval, and Amelia couldn't help but grin. She put a hand on her hip and smiled, leading the army forward once more.
Things seemed to be looking up. With any luck, retaking Pentheus would go smoothly, unlike everything else. And as much as she hoped Drake would be around, she knew he'd inevitably be back in Sentria, where it was safer. The leader of the group can't be killed in the first act, after all. It would have to do to throw a large wrench into their plans. It would, however, make it all the easier to take back their port city.
They hadn't reached Pentheus yet, however, when one of Tibarn's laguz units flew down towards the front of the company, effortlessly shifting back to human form. He gave a sharp salute in greeting, lowering his head at a quick nod from Amelia. She held the butt of her lance on the ground as she watched him reach up to adjust his headband, remarkably similar to Tibarn's. "General Tibarn, sir! General Amelia, ma'am! The bandits seem to be leaving Pentheus and heading in the direction of Sentria! They aren't very far from Pentheus yet, but if we linger for long, they will likely gain the upper hand, mobility-wise, over us. The longer we take to close the distance between them and us before they reach the sands, the greater chance they have of escape. Your orders?"
Amelia frowned, folding her arms over her chest. They had enough horseback infantry and men and women in heavy armor that attempting to get through the desert after a group of cloth-and-leather-garbed bandits would be a fool's errand. "If they leave, the city should be generally vacant. We'll want to search the city for stragglers, but if most of the bandits are leaving, they could be a definite thorn later, especially if they can rendezvous with Drake later..." She turned her green eyes over to Tibarn. "Should we send some of the soldiers to follow them? We can check for stragglers within the city with the remainder of the company." {Graceful Spear} "What... I mean is... Being a member of the holy order doesn't mean you can't put your own wants first sometimes. The goddess is supposed to be all‑forgiving, right? You've worked hard and you deserve to do some things that make you happy. I think she'd forgive you for it."

Tibarn crossed his arms, setting his feet down at last in the interspersed sand and grass, giving his broad wings a rest. As General leading the force, he had nevertheless insisted on taking shifts as the scouting hawk laguz, and kept a watchful eye on his returning comrade as they approached the occupied city.
The report was unsettling, to say the least.
"A mobility advantage does not trump a guerilla advantage. They had plentiful time to fortify against us and set up ballistae in the city. Pentheus is too valuable for them to abandon... they have a plan," he murmured. "I can't imagine they're giving up the city so they can take it again. It just doesn't make sense. They either want to lure us away, trap us, or force us to split our forces."
He turned to Amelia, frowning thoughtfully. "Alright. We need to follow them. I'm taking laguz, mages, flyers to meet them, or keep them off. Amelia, get together a group, and I want you and the Watch to proceed into the city. Carefully," he stressed. "I want you on your guard, because this stinks of a trap. I don't believe these guys would run scared. They're much more afraid of Drake than they are of us."
Amelia nodded, flicking her blond fringe away from her eyes. "I'd like to make sure we still have at least a few mages remaining with this group, especially if they've trained with staves," she muttered, rubbing a hand against her chin. "But the armored infantry, archers... anyone that can keep them at bay in close quarters. And anyone on horseback; they'll have no traction on the sand anyway." She nodded definitively, lowering her hand from her face and looking back to the Hawk King. She reached up and put a hand gently against his upper arm for a moment, then returned it to her side. "The same goes for you," Amelia answered, giving a small, worried smile before turning to face the company.
"All footsoldiers with me! Knights, lancers, swordsmen! Anyone on horseback! We're marching onward to Pentheus!" Amelia lifted her lance - she wasn't quite tall enough to be seen from the back of the crowd, unfortunately - and took a step away from Tibarn. "Third Mage Unit, you're with me, as well!"
Tibarn lifted off the ground with great sweeps of his wings, turning to the rest as the cavalry and heavy infantry units began to move toward Amelia, and floated himself away to create a rallying point for the rest. "All the rest of you," he called, his voice deep and booming, "With me! Halberd units Beta and Sigma, archer unit Theta, you're along with me, too! We're after the main force! Watch members, you're retaking Pentheus, any other guild members are with me! They've got a large force headed for the desert, we're marching double-time to catch them before they get there! Ground units, follow Captain Gerlach," he shouted, indicating the large cat laguz standing near him. "All aerial units, with me! We're going around to head them off, and we'll drive them back to our main force! Waste no time, if we take them now, Pentheus will be ours by nightfall!"
The sky flashed green as Tibarn was engulfed in a pillar of burning light, and the Hawk King's handsome, rugged shape was replaced with the iconic wyvern-sized Hawk. He raised his head in a screech as raven and hawk laguz took wing, and a small swarm of Learanian troops rose after him, immediately breaking off to swing around in front of Sentria's army to block its retreat while Gerlach, roaring, organized the larger part of the army and led the march toward the retreating Sentrian forces.
Amelia lifted her gaze as Tibarn shifted, giving a small salute as the cries of avian laguz filled the air. They were off in seconds, and Amelia watched Gerlach began to organize the rest of the army before turning to their remaining forces. She rested the butt of her spear for a moment against the ground, holding up a hand towards them. "Back in formation, on the double! We've no time to lose! If we're to have Pentheus swept before the main army returns, we're going to have to move as quickly as possible! March!" She turned on her heel, moving ahead on her own as Tibarn guided the rest of their forces away and towards the retreating bandits.
"Don't do anything risky, Tibarn," she muttered, a wry smirk ghosting across her lips before she reached up and behind her back, effortlessly detaching her shield from the back of her breastplate. With her forearm through the straps, gripping the handle tightly, she picked up the pace and marched on. They had a score to settle.

Isadora rubbed the back of her neck as she and the group were trotting toward Pentheus. Though the march was quite long to reach Pentheus, it sure gave the mounted units some arches when sitting for so long. However, it was nice to be back in the force, even if she wasn't a crew member any longer. Not to mention, it was nice to travel with your companions you fought alongside with.
The Dame Knight let out a smile as she listened to Amelia gave a speech to the group. Amelia sure had grown well and mature as a crew member. Renault would be proud of his foster daughter if he was there to see her. Amelia sure had adapted fast of how to be a crew member. How time passed when the paladin last remembered her as a newly recruited crew member.
As the paladin continued marching, she spotted the hawk scout flew down and talked to Amelia, later followed by Tibarn. Isadora narrowed her brows. Although she was unable to hear what the conversation was before her, she could tell something must have happened at Pentheus. Did the enemy spot them? No, they were not even in view sight for the bandits to see them. Did something happen to Pentheus? Perhaps, but what?
It was then that Amelia and Tibarn gave out the orders as well as the explanation. The Sentrian main force was heading to the desert? That was quite suspicious. Why would the Sentrians take a large group to the desert? Weren't the bandits be worried that they would retake Pentheus if their large group left? The paladin knew Sentrians wouldn't give up Pentheus easily. After all, how many time did they fight to reclaim the port city?
Although the Dame Knight was unsure the reason behind the Sentrians' move, she didn't like the idea of how the situation was. With the large group heading to the desert, it would made Pentheus quite easy to reclaim. What were these bandits up to?
Not wanting to waste time figuring the reason and group's time, Isadora snapped her reins to let Tuomas know they needed to move. Whatever reasons the bandits had having the large group heading to the desert, she hoped that Tibarn would have one of his men capture one enemy and get information. They needed to know what these bandits were planning.
As the group reformed their information, Isadora marched up to Amelia.
"Do you need a lift before we reach Pentheus?" Isadora asked as her horse trotted in the same pace as Amelia. "We mustn't waste time if the Sentrian main force knew that we're retaking Pentheus today."
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Damnit, damnit, damnit! And he thought he could get away and go with the Sentria group.
Unfortunately, the laguz troop spotted him trying to sneak off with the group and caught him. So now here he was, travelling with the group of laguz, Watch members and others heading to Pentheus, the place where he didn't want to go in the first place. All those closed spaces to fight. Not to mention, it was unknown if those bandits were planning to set fire again like they did before. He could still feel the heat burning down his neck. Oh wait, that was the sun sending its light and heat onto them. Damnit.
As the tiger grumbled lowly about how terrible his luck was today, his ears perked when he heard the sound of the flapping wings. Looking up, Rajin spotted a hawk laguz landed in front of the general Beorc. He also saw Tibarn landed next to them. Seeing the old bird next to them meant that something must had happened. But what?
Just then, the Hawk King and the Beorc woman were giving out orders. So it looked like they were going to split the group and old man Tibarn was planning to go after the main force. Huh.... Well better do what the old bird said. Chasing the force that was heading to the desert was better than heading to Pentheus. What with all the open space to roam than being in the fiery wall of death.
Not wanting to be left behind, Rajin immediately sprinted. Within few seconds, he quickly shifted into his form. The tiger let out a roar as he followed Gerlach, marching toward the Sentrian forces. Let the game of cat and mouse begin.

~Calill~ “Just a moment, Amy. Mommy’s getting your juice out of the cellar” Calill shouted to her daughter in another room of their bar. “Apple, or grape?”As she went through the door to the cellar, however, well… you know how it goes. Just about anyone in Learania could tell you what had just happened, and an awful lot of people had just witnessed it. Too bad Calill didn’t know.
Out in the vast openness of Learania, the fabulous Crimean Sage found herself. Well, that’s not quite right. She found herself between a city unbeknownst to her to be Pentheus, and a marching army led by a blonde female beorc next to another boerc woman on horseback. That this was could be an entirely different continent other than Tellius didn’t cross her mind, as the Sage saw crowds of laguz with a few beorc mixed in with them travelling off in another direction of yet another group of people (that and the whole, ‘every other continent was drowned’ thing they have going on in Tellius). Among the laguz group was also clearly the Hawk King, Tibarn. Anyone who’d ever seen him transformed before would recognize him, and he and Calill had been in the same company more than once, although they’d never spoken with each other directly or anything. But what good would calling him be? He was already flying away.“Amy!” she yelled. “AMY!” Panic and bewilderment very understandably were set upon Calill. She’d completely inexplicably wound up who-knows-where, and, more frightening, had no idea what had become of her daughter. What was going on in the world? The safety of her daughter being top priority, although still panicked, Calill quickly decided to start figuring things out and getting some answers to this whole calamity.Calill speedily made her way to the group with the two women at its front, the only group of people around, really, as a starting point and starting firing questions away. “Have either of you seen a little girl? With carmine hair? Sorry to hound you two ladies, but I have no idea where in the world I am and I have to make sure my Amy is safe. Please, tell me you’ve seen her. Where in Tellius are we, anyway? That would probably be a good starting point.” It was word-vomit; Calill kept adding question after question, understandably. But on the bright side, one Calill’s presence made Learania a splash more fabulous.

"You can't blame yourself. Blaming yourself and falling into depression, it won't change anything. You have to look →forward→. Remember what you have here now. Just think; if you hadn't come here, you wouldn't have met anyone here from Elibe or anywhere else!" {Amelia}Amelia let out a long breath as she walked towards Pentheus, adjusting her grip on her spear. She turned the weapon over and over quietly in her hands, taking deep breaths as she focused on what was to come. She couldn't think of any good reason for the bandits to have left Pentheus, but whatever it was, it couldn't have been good. Amelia frowned and tightened her grip on the shaft of her spear. They would simply have to fight harder, fight faster, and fight smarter if they expected to win.
At this point, they had no other option. They had tried and failed too many times to reclaim Pentheus. Natural defenses plus the bandits' natural adaptability to most any area... They had the advantage. So the question remained: Why would they leave? Why would they give up their upper hand in order to run? Amelia frowned, eyes darkening.
They have something planned. There's no other option. The question is what... maybe they have bandits waiting in the buildings for a surprise attack? Or they're all hiding along the walls? She gritted her teeth. Strategy and tactics, rrrgh...
"Do you need a lift before we reach Pentheus?"
Amelia's green eyes lifted up and over to Isadora as she approached, and she couldn't help but smile. "Oh, Isadora! No, thank you. I don't want to weigh your horse down with my armor. I don't need the help, but I appreciate it." Amelia gave a small nod, smiling wider, and then looked around curiously. "Just a second. Now where did-- hey, Ewan!" Amelia ushered the magician forward and met him halfway along the path, one hand moving away from her spear to land on his shoulder. "Hey, since you're sticking with me once we get to Pentheus, do me a favor, please? If I give the signal, if we're in trouble, anything like that, I want you to send a flare up into the sky so we can get the attention of Tibarn's unit if they aren't in Pentheus yet, okay?" She grinned and put an arm around him, squeezing his shoulders before turning back towards Isadora. "Anyway, it--"
"Have either of you seen a little girl? With carmine hair?"
Amelia turned and faced the sudden arrival of a glamorously-dressed mage. "A little girl...?" Amelia thought briefly to Amara, but then she was talking about a girl named Amy and Tellius. Ah. Amelia offered an apologetic smile and approached, offering her a hand as the march continued. "All right, this is... probably going to take a long time to properly explain, but this... this is Learania. We're heading to a city called Pentheus to reclaim it from bandits that overtook it some time ago. You've transported from Tellius to this place. That's how a lot of us got here, actually..." Amelia smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of her neck. "If your daughter was safe before you appeared here, then there's no reason for her to not still be safe back on Tellius."
Amelia glanced over at the company, then back to Calill. "If, um, you'd like to come along, you can and I'll answer any questions you have as best I can, or I can ask one of the cavaliers to run you back to Eyris so you can speak to any of the guild members still in the city. I think Nino should be there..." {Graceful Spear} "What... I mean is... Being a member of the holy order doesn't mean you can't put your own wants first sometimes. The goddess is supposed to be all‑forgiving, right? You've worked hard and you deserve to do some things that make you happy. I think she'd forgive you for it."

~Calill~ “If your daughter was safe before you appeared here, then there’s no reason for her to not still be safe back on Tellius.”Calill had been listening intently to Amelia’s responses, and while everything since being transplanted here seemed surreal, hearing that her daughter was assuredly safe back in Tellius was a blanket of relief for her. Largo... Amy was being taken care of. Knowing that, Calill could confidently handle anything else thrown at her; she would deal with whole transported-to-Learania situation in due course. She continued listening to all this very pretty, polite General had to say, trying to absorb it all. “Ugh, this seems like a completely wretched mess of a situation to manage. But I simply must thank you for your time and especially for validating my daughter Amy’s safety.” Calill answered to Amelia. “ Going to this Eyris city of yours sounds like a good—,” Calill suddenly had a change of heart concerning what was best to do in this situation. “On second thought, you say you’re en route to recover a city overtaken by bandits? That’s quite the urgent undertaking to be a part of! Allow me to assist you with it.”“Calill, world-class sage, at your service.” Once Calill had her mind set, she could be indubitably difficult to dissuade. “I’ll simply require any spare tomes or staves your mages and healers might have on them.” Persuading the magic users among this group, even if they were few in number, would not take terrible efforts; especially if there were men amongst them. "Goodness, my perplexity over these bizarre circumstances seems to have overcome my etiquette,. I'm sorry, who is this pretty woman I’ve been speaking to?”Being transported to Learania in such a manner as Calill was absolutely far too much to absorb at once, one certainly couldn’t deny, and there were many things that needed to be addressed and determined. But Calill would handle herself as best she could and deal with all the issues she’d certainly have to when was most appropriate. She knew if she started asking all the questions that she inevitably would all at once she’d be completely overwhelmed. Still, she didn’t yet realize how permanent this all could be, or that she might very well not see Largo or Amy again. But for now, a city needed help, Amelia had a mission to save it, and Calill had decided she would assist her. The inner calamities she would inevitably have to confront would wait, if only for a while.

Isadora let out a small smile as the young General replied. "No need to worry about wearing my horse down. Tuomas can handled lot more than having two people in armor to wear him down."
The Dame Knight gave a slight nod as Amelia was calling out to a certain person, a red-headed Sage she had never seen before. Judging by Amelia's behavior toward this Ewan person, it seemed that she knew him quite well. Perhaps maybe from the same world? It looked like the paladin needed to catch up with new members coming from different world. Who knew how outdated the paladin knew about newcomers coming to the world.
Just before Amelia was about to comment, a woman came up to them, asking them with a barrage of questions. Isadora was having trouble understanding what the woman was saying with questions flying out of her mouth. Something about her daughter. However, hearing the word Tellius alerted the paladin that the woman must be new to the world. Talk about trying to catch up with the newcomers.
Luckily, Amelia explained the situation to the woman, about her daughter being safe as well as what was the current event of this land. It would be quite upset if her daughter was here in the world, especially in the middle of the world. The Dame Knight was quite surprised how the woman handled about her situation. Normally, newcomers would be confused as to where they were or denied that they were in another world and wanting to find their way back. However, this woman wasn't in denial or confused. Isadora had to admit; this woman was quite bold when handle strange situation. And not only that, but the woman had offered her assistance to help them retake Pentheus where the woman had just barely knew about the land or made this land her new home. When the woman introduced herself as Calill and asked for Amelia's name, Isadora answered.
"Her name is Amelia, one of the crew members of the our Fire Emblem guild and in charge of this group. As for myself, I am Isadora. We're glad to have your assistance to help us retake the city. Normally, we rarely have people coming from different world to assist us in our missions, especially in a middle of the war. But once this mission is done, we'll help answer your questions as well as settle down."

Ewan
It had been quite the interesting trip down here, to say the least. Ewan had to readjust to the whole soldier lifestyle. Everything was precise and formal, right down to the way that you walked. March, step one, march, step two. IT was some kind of glorified dance, just a bit more rigid. Certainly nothing like how Derik's group moved whenever he went along with them. It was more casual, as if it was just another trip and they would be home again soon. But here...Even if they didn't show it, Ewan could tell some of the volunteers were a bit on edge. How could they not? They were marching on to war, to another hell that he wish he could have forgotten. But the truth was, they all had something they could do. Another spear or tome in their hands was another ally saved, another day to cherish tomorrow. As happy as he made himself to be, even he had to recognize that. War was not a game. However, that didn't mean a lack of interesting things on the way. These Laguz were definitely interesting! Almost like the Mankete back home, just a bit more fluffy and had much more diversity in their numbers! Surprisingly, some of them seemed just at home near the desert as he did. It was almost like being near Jehenna again, as bittersweet as it felt...
All that meant as for him to pick up his pace and keep on with the rest of them...There was work to be done here. Amelia definitely knew how to keep morale up, his spirits lifting somewhat despite the odd news of the bandit's retreat. That certainly wasn't like any of the ones back home...Definitely not a good sign. It either meant one of two things: Either a bandit actually had a single brain process for once and they ran for it...Or they were walking straight into a trap. The Tibarn he had heard about seemed to agree with the idea, as the two had come to the same conclusion. Good! HE definitely was in good hands, as were the rest of them. He certainly was worthy of the praise Amelia had given him...Dude was pretty awesome! Now if only he could learn a trick like that, flying sounded pretty rad right now! ...FOCUS. You have to proove yourself on this one! There was an impressive bunch in this group of theirs, from the hawks in the sky all the way to the knight that approached them. Definitely not the time to slip up here!
Amelia was counting on him for that flare, not to mention his magic watching her back. He gave a nod from under his hood in recognition of her request, thumbing the tomb that he held underneath his cloak. Another was stashed in the holster strapped behind him, right next to the staves he had tucked away for just the right occasion. Staff work had never been his go-to talent, but it was another healing hand if they needed it. None of his friends were dying on his watch today. It would be hard enough as it was...Especially for this mother.
Another sage to lend a hand? Perfect! Top-grade to boot. "It's a pleasure having you along. World-class is definitely something that can keep up with me! Stick with us and we can definitely go places!" That's right. Keep the mood happy and calm, always moving to the next place. This was a mother, an honest to god mother, trapped in this new place. She had a family back home, just like the rest of them...Except she had a daughter and, he ventured to guess, a husband. She had people who depended on her, a child who needed to be raised by her. That wasn't going to change, even if she was gone. No...No...Another thumb of the pages, his frown hidden underneath his garbs.
No...A mother was not going to die on his watch.

Sunil was fortunate that Tibarn and Amelia were close, else he would have a hard time choosing whether to assist the Laguz Army (for being a Laguz) or the Watch (for uh... be part of the Watch).
His tailed swished as he checked out their surroundings, his ears perking up when he heard the orders being given out, and his mood darkened a little. Uh oh... this was exactly what he was worrying about. He may be a Beast Laguz, but he was also part of the Watch, and they were now going in two separate directions. One was apparently going to give chase to the bandits that were escaping while the other was going to go into the city.
Flustered, Sunil started moving towards Tibarn, but the Hawk King already took off to lead the way. Drat. Tibbers (Tibarn) fled. All that was left was...
"General Mela (Amelia)!" Sunil said, heading towards her. Seemed like she was busy. But... wouldn't hurt to jump in, right? "Uh... I'm part of the Watch and the Laguz Army... I was gonna ask General Tibbers which side would need me most, but he already left so... which group should I go with?"
... Worth a try, right?

Just think; if you hadn't come here, you wouldn't have met anyone here from Elibe or anywhere else!" {Amelia}Amelia couldn't help but smile as Calill continued to speak, brushing her fringe away from her eyes again. Even with her rather elegant dress and jewelry, she didn't seem averse to the idea of combat, and to her offer to help their group, Amelia grinned, eyes lit up. More mages would definitely be useful in the long-run, especially if the fighting went into the night and they needed light to see by. And what better light than that of Fire and the like from an allied mage's magical tomes and sheer force of will?
"Fantastic! We're glad to have you along, Miss Calill," Amelia chirped, waiting for Isadora to finish speaking before giving her a polite nod and bowing. She didn't have a skirt she could properly curtsy with, after all. "And yes, my name's Amelia. Feel free to ask Isadora or me anything you want along the way and when we've finished in Pentheus, all right? We'll answer your questions as best we can."
Her smile relaxed when Ewan approached again, and she wrapped one arm around his shoulders, hugging him against her armored side. The spear was safely held away from him in her other hand, of course. She had a sheathed sword at her hip, but it wouldn't harm him, and her bow and quiver were stashed on her back, where it couldn't be damaged until she needed them. "Good to know I can rely on you, Ewan," she told him, smiling wide. She bapped her knuckles gently against his forehead before letting him go.
"And Sunil," she called cheerfully over her shoulder, walking backwards with the company and the others so as to not be left behind, "I'd say to figure out if you'd prefer to go with Tibarn or with myself and to either keep going with us or to catch up to Tibarn. Either group would be glad to have you."
Amelia glanced over to Pentheus, frowning. "We should be there in just a couple of hours if we keep up this pace, if not sooner. Everyone should be ready to fight. Calill, go find the Third Mage Unit, they should be somewhere near the middle of the company. Ask them for some spare tomes. I'm sure someone can afford to give you one or two. And if they don't, then please send them to speak to me," she added at the end, voice going sweet and innocently cheerful. Amelia grinned and shouldered her lance, taking in a deep breath.
"You ready for this, Ewan?" {Graceful Spear} "What... I mean is... Being a member of the holy order doesn't mean you can't put your own wants first sometimes. The goddess is supposed to be all‑forgiving, right? You've worked hard and you deserve to do some things that make you happy. I think she'd forgive you for it."

~Calill~ So generous and with poise, these women were, offering to assist Calill with her confusing situation as they had! Clearly they were well raised, with good heads on their shoulders. “Lady Amelia, Lady Isadora, it is a pleasure to meet you both,” Calill replied to the two of them. “And I will gladly take you both up on your offers to help me figure this all out after we clobber those bandits.”After listening to what Amelia had to say, yet another voice came into the picture: "It's a pleasure having you along. World-class is definitely something that can keep up with me! Stick with us and we can definitely go places!" Turning to see whom it had come from, Calill saw a quite young mage in their company, adorned predominantly in deep reds, cloth covering his mouth. His youth, enthusiasm, and confidence reminded Calill of one of her own former students. The similarities intrigued her; she’d be sure to keep an eye on this fellow Sage. “I look forward to seeing how we’ll work together, then. Particularly you, sweetie,” Calill announced turning in Ewan’s direction for the latter part of her comments. “You remind me of someone I know.”And with that, Calill sauntered her way through the troops to the Third Mage Unit where she half-beguiled, half-persuaded some of them to lend her an extra Elfire and Heal Staff among them. She was set.

❖Edward❖
The swordmaster happened to be around the area as the armies marched in, he was a wandering mercenary, but lately his job was less about money, but more about surviving. He had made plenty of coin over the years, being a young man with no home, no family, and little sense of materialism, he had used his money only for buying food, clothes, weapons, armor, places to sleep, and so on. The bandits have been annoying these past few weeks, as he was only one man there was only so much he could do. He had been following the army on their march, with this many people, they could probably wipe out a city let alone a bandit camp. Though it wasn't the first time he's seen war. In fact he's seen it since he was very young.
Edward helped liberate a country, and practically save the world, well his world. Tellius, but that was far away, he arrived on this world, and he looked forward ever since. He approached the soldiers and asked directions to the highest ranking officers, they were cautious, which was just fine, for all they knew he could have been an assassin, he left all his weapons with a soldier that was trustworthy, he could see it in his eyes. He approached a woman with golden blonde hair. He actually recognized her, in a battle a few months back he had helped the army fight in a siege, but after the battle, the swordmaster had left quietly not wanting to bother them too much. "May I have a word?" He expected them to be busy but he wanted to help them and get rid of the bandit threat that he had been trying to crush by himself for weeks.
"I'd like to offer my services as a mercenary . . . but no pay needed, I just want to crush these bandits. I've been in this area for weeks but can't seem to leave because of them, and frankly I'm just one man but I think my skill with a sword will be useful to you, I'll follow your orders, as long as they're within reason." He was a bit taller than the general, well he had grown over the last couple years. His body was of one who fought with weapons, muscular and lean. As for his attire it wasn't bad, a brown jacket, leather and metal armor, lightweight but enough to protect from various attacks. If he had his weapons on him, she would have seen him with a Killing Edge, a signature weapon for a swordmaster and a silver sword which he had forged in the city a couple months back. They were both in relatively good condition.

Isadora let out a smile as she watched Calill headed to the Third Mage unit. "That Miss Calill... She seems like an interesting woman to fight along with." Isadora commented to Amelia before her smile changed into a small frown. "It will be quite sad once she learns that she may not see her family again."
The paladin had a feeling that the woman would be able to settle down in the new land easily. However, she wouldn't blame her if she became homesick and missed her family. There had been time when she too missed her own land and family.
"Well, I better get back into formation." Isadora snapped her reins, turning her horse around. "We mustn't dally too long when there's a city that's rightfully ours to reclaim."
And with that, Isadora trotted back to the group where the Watch were. Although she wasn't a member of the Watch, Isadora felt comfortable being alongside her allies such as Leon and Sain.

"You can't blame yourself. Blaming yourself and falling into depression, it won't change anything. You have to look →forward→. Remember what you have here now. Just think; if you hadn't come here, you wouldn't have met anyone here from Elibe or anywhere else!" {Amelia} Amelia smiled softly as she watched Calill dash off to procure some weaponry, leaving Isadora to return to her business. She sighed to herself and brushed her fringe of hair off of her face and away from her eyes, looking ahead to the city that loomed in the distance. They would arrive soon, and she could split up the army into large units to search for stragglers and possible threats while they set up a main camp in the central area until Tibarn's unit regrouped with hers, and then they could--
"May I have a word?" Jolted out of her reverie, Amelia blinked once and slowly turned to face Edward, a polite expression of curiosity on her face. "I'd like to offer my services as a mercenary... but no pay needed, I just want to crush these bandits." Amelia nodded slowly as his explanation washed over her, brow furrowing slightly. Hadn't she seen this boy before? She felt like they'd met in the past, and yet he was acting as if they were complete strangers... hrm.
"All right," she conceded, smiling. "Welcome to the team. If you'd like to join up with Tibarn's unit instead to catch up to the bandits, they're heading that way," Amelia commented, pointing towards the retreating form of his unit. "If you hurry, you should have enough time to catch up. This squadron is heading to the city to secure the perimeter while they chase back the bandits to Pentheus to take them out and prevent them from getting terrain advantage in the sands." Amelia shrugged idly and rolled her spear around in her hand, feeling the familiar smooth shaft of the weapon over her gloved palms. Its weight was memorized by now, wearing a groove into her mind that she could not forget. It was comforting, somehow. "Just so you know."{Graceful Spear} "What... I mean is... Being a member of the holy order doesn't mean you can't put your own wants first sometimes. The goddess is supposed to be all‑forgiving, right? You've worked hard and you deserve to do some things that make you happy. I think she'd forgive you for it."
