Name: Betoto
Race: Earthling - Leaf Tribe
Gender: Girl
Base Traits: Enthusiatic, Sincere, Indecisive
Class: Training to be a Scholar

Personality: Betoto is a very naive person, never really sure about what she wants but will bend over backwards for what others need. She loves to do as much as she can and always has a grin on her face, eager to do whatever is needed. Her mind is always on how the village is doing. She'll take care of the younger children and anyone else she can, just for the self satifaction.
But when it comes to making decisions, Betoto has a very troubling time, always second guessing herself or wondering all of the "what ifs" in her moves. She will spend hours on just a couple of thoughts thinking about how her decisions might affect others. After finally making decisions, she always feels somehwat guilty, wondering if it was the right choice and what would've happened if she hadn't have made that decision.

Description: Betoto's height is pretty average for the leaf tribe. Her eyes are a light green with tiny specks of dark green throughout the iris. Her crystals are on her cheek and her shoulder blades. Her hair just reaches her shoulders and is very wavy. It's a dark brown with the tips being a touch lighter than the rest.

Clothing: Betoto's shirt is a darkgreen, one shoulder mid-drift top with brown laces on the side of the top without the strap. She wears a brown frayed skirt with tan shorts under it.

Accessories: Betoto always carries a small bracelet made of dark brown fabric with a small peach gem in the middle. She got it from her gandmother once she was born and never took it off after she past away.

History: Betoto lives with her parents and her younger sister. When she was a baby, her grandmother had given her a bracelet with a peach-colored gem, but her grandmother passed away before she could give on to her little sister. Now that she's older, she has been looking for materials for making one for her sister.
Betoto and her sister are very close, and her choice in practicing the healing arts is partly due to her little sister's constant poor health. Her younger sister, Nnena, has suffered from poor lungs since she was a child. Betoto would like nothing more than to see Nnena become a prentice one day and to choose her own path. Betoto feels as though the only way to accomplish this is to train in the healing arts and treat her sister and support her.

Hi there! c:
Just a few questions for you~

Decisions, unfortunately for Betoto, are a part of everyday life, so it seems that she would be almost constantly feeling some degree of guilt. It's certainly not a pleasant (or necessarily healthy) state of mind to be living in constantly, so how does she deal with that?

Would she be eager to cling to some sort of stronger personality, someone who would be willing to give her guidance... or just tell her what to do?

It seems like her grandmother had a strong effect on her, since she refuses to remove the bracelet that she gave her. What was her relationship with her grandmother? Did the older woman inspire her in some way? What is the reason behind the importance of the bracelet?

Whenever Betoto feels too much guilt, her mind always goes to her sister, thinking about how she is always ill and how she wants to change it, and from those thoughts, her guilt becomes her wants. How she wants to make all the right decisions and how she wants to be the one people look up to her like her grandmother.

Her grandmother was a respectiful scholar and always took care of Nnena when her illness got worse. Betoto was always there watching her work, and learning as much as she could by just looking. When her grandmother went ill, she told Betoto to always take care of her sister and to never leave her behind.

After her grandmother died, Betoto felt like bracelet was a part of her. Like there is somekind of spiritual pull on it. The one time she took it off, she didn't feel like her self. She felt alone, like no one cared about her, not even her sister. So she never takes it off.

Betoto likes to be given advice and guidance more than just being told what to do but she will rarely say no as long as it benefits others as well as the person asking. She hates to be the 'bad guy' and will try not to be as much as possible.

She will certainly be a sweet burst of innocence to join our stubborn company.

I look forward to seeing Betoto's journey to follow in her grandmother's footsteps!
