 Life Hunter
BATTLE ARENA
The portal opens up into an observation room, and down the stairs, an odd chamber for something like hunter training. At the center of a piranha-filled pool stands a solid stone table and several chairs. The Life Arena was built underneath the demolitions and ballistics testing areas, and the chamber rumbles with the occasional explosions above. Pinpoint red lasers sweep across the room regularly, as if hidden snipers are searching for a nice target. In the center of the table sits a wooden tower, made up of smaller wooden blocks. Yes. That's right. The Life Hunters prefer to train via Jenga.
Note: Distraction techniques and Yo Momma jokes are considered viable weapons when playing competitively.
If you fail: you have knocked down the tower! A small dart hits the back of your neck. You come to several hours later, and hope Dr. H didn't do anything to your body while you were unconscious. When you look into the mirror...
If you win: you have reached 50 points! You get a sharpie marker to do with as you please. peen points go to those with the highest scores.
Mechanics
- by carefully removing pieces of the tower, you earn points and advance to the next round. As the rounds continue, the odds grow steadily against you. Rolling a 1 at any point means you have knocked down the tower. Please do enjoy your mystery dart. Anything after reaching 50 points is purely for peen.
- you may roll pieces individually (suggested for group play) or in batches of 5 (basically, a full round.)

Bonus Mechanics
Life Hunters train for precise hand eye coordination and exceptional judgement, thus they have a slightly lower chance of knocking down the tower.

Bix realized, as his promotion seemed to loom, that he was barely qualified for most of the basic runic weapons and tools. All he had was his handy torch and that was only good for a few uses. Bandages would be nice. He sent out a text, on a mission to finally get qualified, to his best new buddy. Lilwolfpard hey lady come do a training thingy with me. this one should be right up your alley ;D Well he didn't know how she felt about Jenga but he knew she'd appreciate having the bandages on hand.

Ceres on the other hand was pretty much up to nothing anyways, so once the text arrived she was all ready to actually do something. Though the idea of a training thing made her wonder WHICH one he had chosen... iloveyoudie Sure, though which one are we meeting up at and please please please tell me its not the princess one She ran that one once, and it was frustrating enough as it was.

Lilwolfpard Nope. Life Training... pretty much jenga. you'll get bandage qualified tho! Bix waited around outside the Battle Arena because he knew that sniper lazer would be on him as soon as he walked through the door.

Jenga huh?
Now THAT was a loaded answer. Ceres had not played such a game in a long time, but she had a suspicion her memories of the game were a far cry from whatever they had planned here. It was deus training, and nothing was ever that simple.
Still she arrived on the scene a short while later, looking around for the long haired albino man she had been expecting to see... only to see.
"........"
A voice came from her mouth, it was soft and wary and not like her normal tone at all. "...Bix...is.. that you?" Yes, she was totally staring, stopped in her tracks. His HAIR was gone! "You finally cut it?" DAMN she almost did not recognize him!

Bix turned red immediately and his hand buried into the fluffy spiky mass that was now his hair. Thankfully he kept enough hair products around that he knew how to make it naturally fluff without looking 'done'. "Sort of? Well it's gone at least."
It hadn't been cut very long. Once it finished he'd gone back to his room to read or study or something. Inevitably the need to have it seen by someone edged in and for some reason Ceres came to mind immediately. She usually did nowadays when he was seeking someone to hang with.
"The braid got hacked in a mission and so.. I figured maybe it was time to try it out?" He was still red and actually looked concerned. "Does it look okay?" Fragile ego, okay?

Oh man, so he lost the braid in a mission... not willingly. "Damn Bix im sorry, i know you were talking about cutting it but.." She also knew there was a huge difference between talk and action, and it looks like this time his hand was forced. She couldn't keep the look of pity off her face for his loss. She knew how much he cared for, and loved, that mane of his. Even if they were still recent friends, she enjoyed talking with him enough to know that.
"Hhmmm." Ceres said, approaching closer. Hand on her chin (aka thinking pose) she circled around the man like a shark almost, getting a look at him from all angles. "Personally?" She stopped now in front of him, looking up at his face. The hair really made his cheek bones stand out. " I think it suits you. It will take getting used to but... its not a bad change. It honestly, somehow, makes you look taller and... older?" Did she just call him a geezer?

Bix actually looked concerned as she circled him, still red, until she said it looked good and he seemed to relax a bit. "Thanks.. don't men age gracefully? Isn't that what they say?"
Bix smirked and opened the door. He moved to walk himself through, "Age before beauty.." but then he laughed and backed up, always the gentleman. "Just kidding. Get in there. Ladies first."
On the other side of the room the walls reflected with water and on either side of the walkway were pools of piranha swimming hungrily around. Piranhas actually didn't swim much, more like hovered and stared you down... and waited.
In the center was the jenga board and lasers swept the room. Bix followed to the center.

"You know, i cant tell if you just called me pretty, or if you just called me old." She frowned up at him, pretending to look hurt if it was the latter.
Either way he got a punch to the shoulder for it.
"...What the hell did i sign up for." She couldnt help it, she peered down in to the lake below... only to see certain well, HUNGRY, looking fish staring bad at her with beady little eyes. They were almost daring her to jump in. Come come little fly...
She instinctively tried to avoid the red lazers that swirled around the room. "Dare i ask what, exactly, happens if those hit? Have you done this one before?"Now at the center of the room she saw the huge Jenga game, staring it down briefly before wide stepping another beam.

Bix laughed and rubbed his arm. "I'm a gentleman I would never discuss an old a** lady's age." "I guess we will find out what happens.. huh?" Bix looked warily around at the lasers and the fish. Nothing about this room was reassuring and his confidence about Jenga was slipping. The tower was tall, pieces perfectly lined up and waiting for them. "Let's try to do a few at a time.. like I'll do 5 and you do 5 and see how far we get?" Bix's first piece was a bad choice, and the tower wobbled. It was too late to abandon that angle though and thankfully the rest of his turn went smoothly as he stacked them on top. "You're turn." Status Round: 1 Pieces Taken: 5 Total Points: 5

It was not that hard looking. At least, thats what she wa telling herself while she curiously watched the other man ake away a block at a time. The first of his blocks almost did him in, but he made a lucky recovery.
Once he was finished, she gave him a nod of approval. "Not that bad..."
Then it was her turn.
Approaching the game, she stared it down some. Her first choice was a good one, not too shaky. Second one not as good, but still safe. She almost lost it with the third, a squeak coming from her mouth at the object. She chanted 'dontfall dontfall' to herself.. thankfully she was ok after a moment. Fourth piece, still awesome!
And then the last piece. She really, REALLY chose badly. It tumbled a second later. "....Crap."
Then she felt p***k, almost like a spider bite. She hit the dirt.

"YOU totally did it that round." She grumbled, massaging her head which was still cloudy from..wahtever the heck was in the darts. Two darts in one day, geez. Thankfully it seemed the sleep drought or...whatever was inside it, only lasted a short while.
Enough that they always woke up in difference places. This time they were on the lawn...
"We will get this."
This round went smoothly, she too almost lost it a few times but not enough for it to topple.

Bix frowned. "Maybe I'm just totally into whatever drugs they are pumping into us.." He grinned groggily. He was starting to drawl slightly.
Despite his fogged up brain he managed to survive his turn successfully.
