Kami rolled of the couch were she’d been meditating and landed on her hooves. "That’s it," She decided, "I’m going to the concert." While browsing online the other day, she found out her favorite band was going to be performing nearby. On a whim she bought a ticket, but realized immediately afterwards she’d have to stand in a crowd, surrounded by other Noodles. Kami spent the last few weeks before the performance trying to figure out if she was attending or not. Of course, her decision came only a few hours before it started. Not bothering to look into a mirror, she ran all the way to the arena where the band would be performing. Lucky for her, she arrived 30 minutes early. Lucky because she forgot her ticket and had to abandon her spot in the line to rush back and get it. "Sorry!" Kami shouted behind her as she burst from her spot in the line and bumped into someone.

She made it about halfway home when she saw her ticket lying on the sidewalk. Hm… she thought to herself, I must have just dropped it. The wind picked it up, so she snatched it out of the air and rushed back. Sadly, by the time she arrived, the length of the line had doubled and she was too shy to ask for her spot back. I’m not going to be anywhere near the stage, Kami sighed. 15 minutes before the concert started she found herself at the door. "Enjoy the concert, Miss." The male handed back her ticket and she headed in. A sea of Noodles stood in front of her. Some bouncing around, others thrashing to background music, but all were talking. It was a chorus of noise amplified by the roof and empty stage. More bodies filed in behind her, knocking her side to side. She wanted to scream and run out of the room, but all she managed was a small moan. Kami couldn’t bring herself to move into the crowd, nor could she turn around and leave. So, she found herself just standing and shivering as if all the noise and body heat didn’t exist.

Kami felt like she was about to faint when a voice spoke into her ear, standing out from all the other babble. She unfroze and turned her head. The dark Noodle had flaming red fur, a mustache, and piercings. He seemed like he'd be the dangerous, concert going type, but his eyes looked kind and he wasn't thrashing around like the others. "Oh...um. This is just the first time I've ever been to a concert before. It's just...kind of overwhelming." And by 'kind of' she meant 'really' overwhelming. Kami looked around the room, her brain trying to process everything that was going on. "Do you know where I could get some water?"

Kami blushed under his warm smile. "Thanks you, Sir. My name is Kami, by the way. It is very kind of you to help me." She took a deep breath to steady herself. "I'll try to relax, but I often find it hard in these kinds of situations. Do you often go to this kind of concerts?" She followed him closely to avoid bumping into the other, more wild, Noodles around them.

Kami blushed and a small smile crept across her lips when he complemented her name. "Oh, thank you...I've always made plans to go to concerts like this, but I tend to chicken out at the last minute and sell my ticket to someone else in line." She bit her lip as she dodged an already drunk Noodle and bumped into Kotatch just as he called her pretty. Her blush darkened and she looked away. "Th-thank you, Kotatch..." It felt nice saying his name. Kami peeked at him from the corner of her eyes. "That's the first time a handsome Noodle has called me pretty." She clamped her mouth shut and almost came to a full stop. Usually she only said harsh things to others, Kami never thought she'd find herself blurting out she thought someone was cute, let alone handsome. She continued forward, but was afraid to make eye contact. Maybe he didn't hear me... Kami almost sighed outloud, the thought of that made her sad even though she didn't mean for him to hear her admit she thought he was good looking.

"Hm…" She looked carefully over the sign. All of this stuff is so unnatural. She glanced at Kotatch, but he was so kind to offer to pay, I can't say no…and he called me lovely… She shook her head to control her thoughts, "I’ll just have a water, please." Kami continued looking over the menu just incase there was something she could eat that she had overlooked. Everyone always though she was snobby, but she honestly didn't like eating things that were fake.

Kami stared a moment longer. Hmmm, I don’t usually eat gluten, but I guess I can make an exception for today… She pointed at the menu, ”Could I please get just the hotdog bun…without the meat?” she blushed a little, hoping Kotach didn’t think she was being weird or snotty like everyone else did.

Kami blushed and took the bun, "Thank you, good sir." She nibbled on it and grinned up at him. She had to admit he was very good looking, and he had a cute smile. "So, we got our snacks, now where do we go?"

Kami followed Kotach closely, afraid of getting lost in the growing crowd. When he stopped, she accidently bumped into him. "Oh! I'm sorry," she blinked and looked up at the stage. "Wow! This spot's perfect!" Kami grinned up at him, relaxing as he took her mind off the surrounding crowd of bodies.
