She had been checking on him these past few days, only to stand outside a door which led to an empty room.
Hel had a pretty good idea where Shun was, and sure, she could have tried going after him…but it was the Haunted House…the odds of running into him inside would be hard. She may have wanted to find him, but Shun probably didn’t want to be found. She’d wait. The ghoul’s face was pulled into a frown as of late, with the ache of the loss, the knowledge of knowing she’d been weak…these past few days…she didn’t know what to do. Training hard, fighting hard…it made have eased the ache but it didn’t solve the problem. So what was she doing now? Waiting. Outside the reaper dorms and leaning against the door.
Shun would be back. This she was sure of. He wouldn’t go to the nurse if he could help it…he’d return to his room eventually.

Frustration. Anger. Sorrow. Shun wasn't in so much of a good mood with the way things had been going. Coming back from the meeting with the horsemen, he wasn't feeling much better. Yes, patience was always a good thing, but he was still struggling. He wanted her back now. It was partially his own failure that she was gone.
But, he supposed he should get some rest and finally let his body heal properly. His progress towards the Reaper dorms was a little slow as he was still incredibly tired. His body ached all around as well.
Sure enough though, he was making his way.

It was one of those rare times in which Hel wasn’t impatient. She just kept on leaning against the door and waiting, but it would pay off. Hel spotted the reaper approaching and she pushed off of the door and stood at the top of the stairs.
Right in his way.
Once the grim was close enough, Hel called out to him, her usually loud and bright tone subdued, more serious. “Hey. You look like hell. Mitsu would not like that, ya know.”

Shun glanced up at Hel as she sort of greeted him before the entrance to the dorm itself.
"I know she would not, but that doesn't matter so much at the moment. There were things I needed to do," he muttered under his breath. It seemed like he was intent of crashing in his room or something like that.

Hel crossed her arms. “Ya, it does matter, Shun. You can try and beat down false reapers until you can not stand anymore…but you need to take care of yourself. Can not have Mitsu coming back to a shell of her former reaper.” She tapped her fingers on her arm. “…So…? Going to rest in your room I take it?” She paused.
“What happens after that…?”

"What I'm going through right now is probably nothing to what they may be doing to her," Shun said darkly while staring hard at Hel, "I must heal up, then wait. I must prepare for whatever the hell Medea is planning."
The Reaper let out a huff, then started to continue walking. A number of things were going through his mind. Every time Candace's face managed to flicker in his mind, he grew a little more tense with anger. He wanted to kill her. But further more, he wanted her to suffer.

Hel’s lips quirked as she stared back at Shun. She didn’t cower under the words or the dark glare, and seemed to be pondering if he was telling the truth about resting or not. What was Shun’s idea of rest, exactly? That huff though, and the way he continued to walk, had Hel pondering the urge to do something rather crazy.
Provoke him. Don’t ask why she thought it would be a good idea…she just felt like he needed it for whatever reason.
A hand reached out to press against Shun’s chest, and she then pushed the reaper back, away from the door. “Oi. I am not done talking to you.”

It wasn't too hard to push Shun back, especially given his current condition. Narrowing his eye, he just walked and tried to shove her out of the way so he could head into the dorm.
"Get out of my way, Hel," he hissed. He was in no mood for extended discussions.

It wasn’t too much of a shove, and Hel stood her ground, but she shoved back, harder, because she had been getting rest. “No.” She replied. “Ya know, for someone who likes to harp about having a clear mind and being rational, you are far from it right now. Hypocrite.” Her fists came to rest at her sides, as if she was preparing for something as they flexed.
“So how about this…meditate with me, okay?” A rather odd request from the ghoul…but if Shun wanted to refuse, she had another option for them to pursue.

Daggers were out in a flash, though he cringed a bit from the extra fear use. Shun moved as though he was going to lash out at her, but stopped his blade before he could make any contact anywhere.
"Don't you dare ******** call me a hypocrite. And I can meditate on my own."
Old loner tendencies speaking out here? Possibly.

Oooh Hel wasn’t going to bring weapons into this, but if Shun wanted to…
Nah.
The reaper reached out with a fist and socked him.
“Oh, I did. What are you going to do about it? Also, Shun, ******** you and your I will do it alone s**t, because that does not fly anymore.” Hmm…as beat up as he was, the fact he still had enough gusto to draw his daggers on her with being outright attacked yet had Hel wondering if he was really that worn out yet. Nah. Hel raised her fists now and spread her feet out a bit in a fighting stance. She’d do him a favor, the ghoul decided, and beat the rest of the unfocused anger out of him.

Shun recoiled from the punch, dropping his daggers in the process. He staggered back, trying not to fall over completely. It took him a little longer than it normally would have to recover from that blow. Rubbing the side of his face, he shook his head before glaring at her, then tried to punch her in turn. His movements were sluggish, compared to how he would have been otherwise.
"What the ******** is your problem? Just leave me the ******** alone, Hel," he hissed sharply.

Hel was pretty disappointed with how worn down Shun was, actually. To mock him, the ghoul leaned forward as if to present her face to him, making it easier to sock. Hel took the punch like a pro, grinning at him. “No. I left you alone for the past few days, now you are going to be subject to my company. You are not alone in this, ya know.”
She lifted a leg and tried to side swipe him. “I am here. As if Mot. We want her back too. In this desire, we are united.” Hel paused. “…I understand the rage. I really do…but Jack, Shun…come on…this whole act? This is my thing…not yours. You are the calm and collected one…so come on; let us just get the rest of the angry out. It makes you sloppy.”

Hel easily knocked him down and he soon fell as his feet were swept out from under him. Groaning, he felt a little stunned after hitting the ground like that. But, he slowly pushed himself back to his feet before trying to tackle Hel.
"I've already gone and spoken to Medea and Invictus for help. But for now they don't have anything," he murmured angrily while trying to hold her in place, "I've been on my own before this school. I don't need companionship right now."

Hel waited on the top of the stairs with her hands on her hips after Shun hit the ground. When the reaper pushed himself back up and tackled her, Hel went down, staring up at him as he spoke. “…Ah…I see.” She murmured, and easily rolled to throw Shun off of her, face forward. “So wait. That is it, huh? I ******** hate that answer.” Hel paused. “Whoop-de-doo, Shun. So you were alone before the school, huh? Well news flash, friend, are you not alone now. Sorry for ya.”
The ghoul rolled back up to her feet and was so inclined to deliver a swift kick to Shun’s ribs if he didn’t roll out of the way fast enough. “Mitsu is a strong ghoul…but I have to believe in hope and luck too. Luck that they will not weaponize her before we can get to her…hope that she will still be the sweet loveable ghoul when we get to her. I say once again though, Shun. She would not want to see you like this…so I will keep kicking you around like a hackie sack until you are finally too tired to get up and then I will carry you to your room and dress your wounds and put you to bed…or we can return to your room, both walking and get you patched up and fed, and then meditate.”
