~Pirates of the Caribbean: Cursed to Death~ Roleplay!


This is the official thread for our Pirates of the Caribbean Roleplay. The whole idea around it is this:
Jack Sparrow has been on the sea, Captain once again, new crew to guide. On his way to doing his Pirate duties, along the way to a missing Island he calls The Gullez (Being as weird as he is to randomly think up such a name) he finds this Compass, but not any old compass. One to be said that to keep will bring you good fortune. It brings you to the richest of places, and gives you happiness of all kinds with guidance of the wise. Onto a new Journey, Jack sets at dock on a small abandoned Island for the night, come to find when he wakes up, the Compass isn't there anymore. There is a Curse to this compass that anyone who possesses it has to abide by, and that is that if you have been the first to touch this and lose it, or has been stolen, then you have only 90 days to live unless you can retrieve it again. He has searched every crew member, and every spotting on his ship, including the whole island.. come to find it is nowhere, thinking only that someone had somehow boarded the Island they'd been on during the night and stole it, miraculously to have disappeared.
Jack goes back with his crew to find Will Turner and Elizabeth, seeking their help once again, and this leaves them off onto another adventure filled with trouble to be stirred, romance, and suspense.

All right. Now here are some rules to abide by, and you should all know them by now:
exclaim Follow the Gaia ToS, of course!
exclaim No spamming! Bring it to the OOC thread if you have anything to comment, chat about, etc.! Please don't disturb the RPers, it distracts them from what they're there to do!
exclaim Keep sexual content at PG-13! If you want to take in any further, go to PM.
exclaim Do NOT God-Mod unless someone else gives you permission to play their character for any reason, such as they are going to be away or what-not.
exclaim No killing off someone else's character unless they have allowed it to happen, nor can you go around harrassing them.
exclaim Please no arguing with another if something isn't going your way.
arrow If you break any of these rules, it will be taken up with Aniwan (Captain of the Guild) and/or the Crew, that's including myself. Most of these are discussed in our Rules Thread. Check that out.

Other things to keep in mind:
exclaim Do not twist the story out of whack, or out of it's story-line, such as having someone turn into a vampire or bring in demons. That's not of this Roleplay. If you want to make a thread that involves anything vampiric or demonic, that's fine. Just don't do it here. Though, if you have any ideas, bring it up with me first.
exclaim Keep it in the same timeline. There are no space crafts of any sort, or motor vehicles.
exclaim Another thing that can annoy some people, join in on the fun. Don't just wander all around mindlessly.
exclaim DON'T make any short posts. This is discussed in the Rules thread of this Guild. Check if need be.

If you want to play more than one character, and you think you can handle it, that's fine. But not more than one main character. Be fair to others. The first person with an acceptable application to that character will be the one playing them, unless you can work on an agreement.
