I have been on a djinni kick for a while now and there are many types. There are many types of wish makers too. Monkey's paw, spells, and god knows what else.
Anybody want to put in their opinion?

I think I would want to grant my own wish through hard work and then send it back in time.

Star wishing. Or the 11:11 wishing.
I think wishing is nifty only for putting your long term goals in order. But mostly, get off your a** and do it for yourself because there will be no fairy godmother coming to grant you a wish. Make you own magic, make your own path, and fight for what you want and make it happen. Wishing for something can only get you so far.
