Colonel Artyom

"Это полковник спецназа Артем силами группы Альфа вступит в свет с поднятыми руками, или мы откроем огонь на вас" He said felling a bit weird using his old rank and group but he looked the part so it would not be hard to mix him up with a real member. But when no one said a thing or walked into the light at the speed of a normal person he raised his AK-108 "Get ready as soon as you see them if there hands are down shoot if they look like they want to attack then shoot got that guys" he then said as he got on one knee so the air force lackey behind him could shoot as well

(This is Colonel Artyom Spetsnaz forces Group Alpha come into the light with your hands up or we will open fire on you)

Staff Sergeant Henry Blackburn
"Black"

Thanks for the memories...
Even though they weren't so great...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Henry raised his Mk11, following the lead of the Russian Colonel. He trained his sights out towards the suspected area of advancement and let out his breathe.

"God I hope we get this done soon." He kept his eye on the sight picture, waiting for something to come out of the darkness as Aingel stated the usual "Get down on the ground" commands."There's something suspicious about this."

He wanted to air his thoughts, but right now didn't seem like a good time to make everyone nervous. Blackburn stood his ground, waiting.

Commander Trident
Marine Commander

"Call to God if I cross your path and my silhouette hangs in the Aftermath; hope is a moment now long past, the shadow of death is the one I cast"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

John heard Aingel over the radio, and reacted instantly to it. He moved over to the side of the building here he could get the best view of the two tangos moving towards them. Trident reached up and pressed a bottom that activated his advanced night vision in the eyes of his ballistic mask. He could see the tangos moving towards the group but could see the larger group, just barely making them out, there exact numbers he could not tell.

"If they are a hostile threat, engage silently and with caution There are not the only ones in the area."

Trident said in the mic, so that the could hear through the radio, and not shout and let what ever is out there hear him. He would engage the enemies himself and help the group but he did not want to alert the larger group and cause an firefight that does not need to happen.

Brigadier General Thomas Pryor

Pryor was down on one knee with his rifle ready to fire. Artyom had yelled out to the people. Pryor began using his eye to try and get a better look but when he tried to use the type of night vision it began to fade out an look like a TV when you unplugged everything and you just get static. Thomas heard Trident come over the radio, so he let of of his rifle so it could hang the the sling he kept attached to his chest, and then pulled out his extended knife, and waited as one of the creatures ran at them, it was fast and it was covered in blood, and was certainly not human. As it reached Pryor, it began trying to tear him apart, but as it swung its arm Pryor ducked under its arm and moved behind it planting his knife in two locations, once in the stomach and once in the heart, Pryor ending behind it, facing it, but it was still moving like that had just not happened. Pryor this time, in a trance like state that he was able to put himself in combat like this where he didn't question anything until the fight was over. Pryor this time did the same trick but on the other side, this time planting the knife in his back and then at the base of his skull, the figure now dropped to the ground.

As per Colonel Artyom's orders, she stood her ground with her rifle in position. She refused to let her fears take control of her, though her mind played games with her as she waited for them to approach.
Once they did, she swiftly turned to the direction of their approach but her muscles ended up freezing upon their unpleasant sight. They weren't like anything she had imagined them to be.
Though, by then General Pryor had taken care of them, she shook her head with a light sigh upon feeling useless when needed.
"Get a hold of yourself Alice..."she thought to herself, rubbing her temples with her free hand to push aside the picture her mind imprinted within.

Artyom looked at the things "By god they are ugly" he said taking out his sickle as the other one charged him ducking to avoid being hit he then did a uppercut the the sickle stabbing it up the jaw then pulling till the sound of flush ripping was heard separating the things head from it's body.He then removed his sickle some brain matter on it witch he pushed off with the head "Well that was lovely" he said to himself as he kicked one in the head after it had fallen then looked to Pryor his normal look changed back to the one he had when he first came to DLCC someone who was looking for revenge as he looked up. "If we have to get out of the city any other way the metro rail to Moscow and the other place will be the best bet but lets stay away from the rocket command ok" he then said as he started to walk into the darkness his eyes already used to the dark meant he could see somewhat but not to well.

And when he gets to Heaven,to Saint Peter he will tell...

Upon seeing that the two that had broken away were not friendly, Aingel made a logical conclusion that the rest of the crowd in the dark was the same. He pivoted the searchlight up suddenly, bathing the creatures in the white light, and spun up the twin fixed miniguns on the Venom's mounts. A loud ripping sound filled the air as the miniguns tore into the horde of creatures, shredding them apart as they turned to snarl at the light. Aingel began pivoting the Venom left and right, sweeping the crowd, decimating the horde's numbers a the few remaining escaped into the hulks of the buildings. Aingel checked his IR scope again as the miniguns spooled back down. Nothing was moving. "Scope's clear, for now. Move forward, I'll be right behind...." He trailed off as he noticed a white patch in the IR scope. Something out there was giving off heat. It was a few miles away, only visible from the altitude of the chopper. "Hold the phone...there's something out there....Turn on your flashlights and hold your position, ground team, I'll be right back..." Aingel moved the chopper forward, towards the white hot patch. As he got closer, though, it seemed to move away. He kept after it, though, intent on figuring out what it was. As he did, his radio contact with the ground team started to break up. "It's moving....incredibly fast speed....Seems to....matching the speed of the helicopter...as if it's trying....make sure I stay with it....bad feeling about this..." The thing finally stopped moving, coming to rest in a crater of some sort. Aingel shone the searchlight down on it, his eyes widening as he saw the object in the light. "Bloody buggerring he-" The signal cut off, and, to the ground team, as it did, so did the sound of the helicopter. No sounds of a crash, no explosion, simply there one minute, and gone the next. Not even an echo. Over the radio, there was no static, just dead air. For the first time since the beginning of the mission, all the ground team could hear was absolute, complete silence...

[OK, boys and girls, time to see how well you fare...on your own...*evil laugh*]

Master Sergeant Nora Rosenburg

[Profile]

Nora looked up, covering her eyes slightly as Aingel lifted off. Her attention soon turned to their surroundings once more. Aingel's voice broke over that two of the beings were approaching. Nora thought that it was interesting to call them tangos. If the situation had not been so dire, she may have found that amusing.

Nora followed Artyom's commands to shoot on sight if the creatures had not responded to his commands. She was ready to shoot as she looked for the direction that the people were coming from. Her heart sunk when Commander Tridents words came to them. Of course their group was here to irradiate the threat but she never imagined the feel of dread in the air and the unknown factors.

When the figure had attacked Pryor, Nora's vision quickly moved. she was surprised by what she was and the General was able to react much faster than she, plus they could not shoot at that one for fear of hitting their comrade. Her gaze quickly flashed to Artyom and the figure that he was taking out. Nora had never seen anyone that looked like this before. It was gruesome and she could barely hold herself together. It was not a proud moment.

She was ready to move forward and to work their way out of this city. Soon a ripping wave rang around them. Aingel broke through the communication devices. He had cleared the area but there was another threat. Nora got her flashlight out and turned it on, scanning the area. She looked to Artyom when the radio went out.

Commander Trident
Marine Commander

"Call to God if I cross your path and my silhouette hangs in the Aftermath; hope is a moment now long past, the shadow of death is the one I cast"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

John watch down below as he watch the two tangos get taken out and be killed by his team. Faintly he could hear footsteps coming up behind him, he reacted instantly to the sound as the foot steps did not sound "normal", there was the sound of the feet shuffling and being dragged. He was the only one up here and he didn't want any more of those things coming up here. He holstered his pistol and grabbed one of his throwing knives from its sheath next to his pistol and threw the blade at the thing as it got up to the roof.

The blade spun as it cut through the air making a faint sound. The business end of the knife met its mark and lodged itself deep with in the creatures eye. It broke through the eye socket and into the brain killing it, silently, as it slumped to the floor. It was easy for him to get shots into an area like that, even if they were wearing a helmet.

"So apparently hitting them in their brain kills them."

Trident said in the mic, as he walked over to the creature and pulled the knife from its kill, some gibbets where left on the blade. He wiped the blade clean on what ever the creature was wearing and sheathed the blade back into its right spot.

"Stay safe everyone, We are going to make it out of here alive."

He said as he made sure the roof access was closed and made his way back to the ledge where he could see his team. At this time he could hear the radio from Aingel cut off and the sound of the chopper disappear. This mission wasn't going to be like the others.

"Aingel, Aingel... do you copy? Over? Do you copy?"

Trident kept trying to hail the chopper and its pilot. He was a good friend and he didn't want to see him die, or anyone else here.

Brigadier General Thomas Pryor

Pryor was standing over the creature he had just killed, slowly kneeling down to get a closer look at its mangled face and body. Pryor heard what Trident said about the brain, and he agreed with that silently. He wanted to examine the thing more closely but the Aingels transmission cut out. Pryor looked in the direction that Aingel was in and used his eye to zoom, at the same time using its version of night vision, but he couldn't see the Venom.
"We need to move. We should go to Aingels last location, our members, let alone our leader, comes before the mission. Stay close together and if you even think you see anything say something, just don't waste time. Artyom take point."
Thomas was taking control of the group on the ground, while Trident was off doing his own thing. Pryor wasn't worried over the Marine commander, he knew he could take care of himself. Pryor then used his eye and tried to scan for the Venom, but it wasn't showing in the HUD.
