A note that was clearly written in a ghoul's handwriting was left on the door of Enzo Valentino... Quote: Enzo - Meet me at the maul for lunch. I'll be waiting in front that sandwich shop called Rotbelly. Though it has been a while since Bea came back to school, she hadn't forgotten what went down at the Scarentines party and in the cafeteria before she left. She stood there in the food court hoping that jerk of a boil got her message. Bea took a deep breath and started to feel a bit nervous. "This is nothing. No big deal," she exhaled and straightened her unusually short skirt.

It was a normal thing in Halloween for there to be a roach or two, and maybe a rat or three scurrying about a food establishment. It showed good faith and that the food wasn't necessarily poisonous. As Bea sat and waited, though, a rat had scurried along to sit under her table. Followed soon by a second, and third, sitting in a row and staring at her.
A few minutes later, a fourth cheekily shimmied up a chair nearby and onto the table top just beside her to sniff at the napkin holder.
It didn't take long after that for the dark-clad figure to mosey towards her, wearing nothing special- it was warm out, and so his coat was slung over his freckled shoulder, his cap pulled down low on his face, "Well, well, well, I thought you had gone belly-up. Where you been, Pidge?"

When a rat arrived to her table, Bea had yet to notice it. She was feeling too distracted until one by one, more rats came scurrying around her. Finally, she saw a rat sitting by her napkin. "Ah, hello little guy!" Bea smiled, not realizing it was part of Enzo's crew.
Suddenly, a boil's voice came at her. Her eyes widened, trying to contain her excitement. With a half smile and swatted one of the sleeves of his coat, "Huh, and here I was wondering when you'd show up!" Bea tried to think up an excuse to explain her absence. He was right... She was gone for a while. No one needs to know about the incident in her closet... "I -uhhh- took a vacation after I passed my exam," leaning her head towards her shoulder, trying to act non-nonchalant.
"So, are you ready to eat?" Bea rested her elbows on the table and held her face up, trying to look attractive.

"And here I thought you was gonna' stiff me," He grinned, slipping into his seat before slapping the rat from the table, "Scram." He hadn't forgotten about their little deal. And hey, free lunch with a pretty dame was free lunch with a pretty dame. He slung his coat over the back of his chair, flicking roaches over the tabletop and his 'date' in one smooth motion.

"Me? Stiff you? Naaah~" flipping her hair behind her barnacle crusted shoulder. "Why would, I do that? I didn't invite you here, didn't I?" Bea said playfully then suddenly realizing her plan was starting off too slow.
When the boil made his way into the seat, Bea scooted closer towards him and made herself comfortable. "I'm so glad you did show up though," she said as she reached over to play with one of his straps, "I mean, what kind of handsome gentleboil would leave a pretty ghoul all by her lonesome, right?" A finger slid it's way from Enzo's suspenders to circling his chest.

Enzo raised a thick eyebrow as his suspenders were thusly molested.
"Well last we spoke, i was pretty sure you wanted t'give my face a good sockin'. Didn't realize you'd take my challenge serious-like."

Half way though, Bea stopped her flirting and pulled back. He seemed like he was just not into her or she's probably a terrible flirt. Either way, her plan was obviously not working. She pursed her lips in thought as she sat back in the chair.
Forget the plan. Just be honest.
"Well, not exactly..." Bea looked at him, "Okay! I guess I kind of did, but I realized... I'm-- It's-- uhhh..." Her face scrunched up as she thought about the conversation she had with Danny. "I decided I'd give you another shot." Whatever that meant.

"Another shot, huh? What makes you think bank's open?" Enzo grinned, sitting back with his arms folded to regard the watery ghoul.

Is this boil playing with her? Fine. Be that way...
"What do you mean?" Bea said playfully as she gently scooped up one of Enzo's rats before getting comfortable in the chair, "I was just being 'friendly'." She began petting the scruff of the rat's neck with a few fingers. "Don't you want to have a fun time? I mean, this is a..." pausing for a moment to look at up at the dark-hair boil, "date, right?"

Again, Enzo raised an eyebrow, watching as she scooped up the probably-diseased, red-eyed creature and shrugged, "Perhaps. If that's what you wanna' play at." She was up to something. He could smell it.

That stupid eyebrow again. Bea's nonchalant face quickly turned sour as she opened her hands to let the rat scurry away from her. She had enough of his 'cool guy posture'. Nothing seems to phase him! He didn't react much to the previous time when she was tearing up. He didn't notice her pouting the last time, neither. And this time, he didn't even seem to respond to the flirting when she practically threw herself at him. At least, it looked that way to her. Bea was getting fed up with trying to figure this boil out. "You are very hard to read, you know that?", she said bluntly and gave him a familiar look. Maybe she was trying too hard to make this whatever-little-relationship-they-had special. Sure that kiss was possibly romantic at the time, but then again it was also probably influences by Jack knows what. Danny was right. The first kiss doesn't matter if it wasn't meaningful with the person that you like.
"Ugh!" Bea grunted in frustration to herself, "I don't even know why am I bothering with this!"

Enzo gave her a wink, glancing over the menu one more time before tossing it down, "Always keep 'em guessin', toots. Now, you gonna' order us up some sandwiches or what?"

"WHY?!" Bea shouted gripping onto her hair with one hand just before she stopped herself from pulling a few strands of seaweed out, and slamming the table with the other hand, "WHY WOULD YO--"
A few stares from across the way made her feel a little embarrassed. "...Fine."
After a moment of looking at the menu, Bea ordered a sandwich she thought would be delightful. Even if her date wasn't ideal, at least her meal could be, right?
"Well? What do you want?" looking back at Enzo.

Seriously? How would she know what he wants. Bea looked at the selection and sneered, Maybe something with lots of spice and frog's breath to cover it up.
When their food came, Bea took the tray, carefully put her sandwich down on her side of the table, no longer beside Enzo, and carelessly tossed his in front of him, "Here."
