All Techniques
Require some sort of initiation. For example, even if certain doujutsu require no eye contact in the manga, they do in this guild. I'm going to be more strict about this rule for stronger techniques. (so if your technique turns your opponent's head into a squirrel head for lols for a couple of hours, I won't mind an autohit, but if it actually does damage, no, you can't do it).
Edo Tensei
The point cost for edo tensei is however much you want it to be. However, the total jutsu points of the zombies you can summon at once is equal to the total cost of the amount of jutsu points you've invested in edo tensei. And you may continue to invest points in edo tensei each season. This doesn't apply when reviving other rpcs that another rper controls.
Edo Tensei can no longer be used on NPCs or Canon characters (which may have been present in the guild due to storyline purposes). You must still invest jutsu points into Edo Tensei. The amount you invest represent the combined total cap of jutsu points that your zombies may use. If you invest 20 jutsu points into your Edo Tensei and you revive two RPCs, they may have ten jutsu points each or any combination that adds up to 20. If your character already knows a technique that the summoned zombie also knew, then that technique may be given to that zombie for free. Invested jutsu points do not count towards your total jutsu point limit of 200, but the technique is S Rank, so it does cost you 7 jutsu points to have.
Body Recreation Technique
Same restraints as Edo Tensei, except the created clone can be used on living RPCs. Alternatively, the process takes much longer than Edo Tensei, so it cannot be used in the middle of battle.
Clones
Can only be maintained for 5 hours... I may place a distance range on them as well later.
Attack of the Twin Demons
Like any KG technique, you must first have the related Kekkei Genkai. Kabuto's variation of the technique is not allowed due to the potential of unlimited Kekkei Genkai.
Mangekyou Sharingan and Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.
You must actually obtain this in RP. No one will be allowed to start out with it. Your best friend must be an RPC and die to obtain the mangekyou. When you get the eternal mangekyou sharigan, the two mangekyou will fuse together and you will obtain all abilities of both sharingan (so you can't simply trade eyes with another Uchiha).
Amplification Summoning Technique
-Only Rinnegan users may use this technique.
-This may only be used on one summon.
Sage Mode
Sage mode requires a Kage Rank of respect, being S rank as a criminal, or S rank as a famous wandering Ninja.
You must have at least A rank summoning before you can learn sage mode.
Flying
You can only do this in short bursts. you cannot fly across the corruption
Teleportation
Teleporting RPCS is banned except for Canon techniques
Human Summoning, and Reverse Kuchiyose
Banned
Temporary paralysis technique
Requires eye contact. Can be resisted.
Body Flicker
requires a 5 post cooldown before it can be used again. Can only be used to cross small distances (up to 30 feet)
flying raijin
The same character may only be teleported every 5 posts. during they post they may teleport as much as they like.
Replacement Technique
A character may only use this a max of 2 times per battle.
Jutsu Sho (Technique Cancel)
Banned for all rpc
in order to keep this technique from being overused, I am imposing these rules:
1. without a doujutsu to detect chakra, or without knowing what the hand-signs your opponents make will do, it's impossible to use the correct amount of chakra to cancel most jutsu, unless they put in more chakra and end up wasting some. since most jutsu, unlike impure world resurrection, happen instantly... so even though jutsu sho is capable of canceling jutsu by exerting an equal amount of chakra, usually you will end up using more chakra than your opponent used for the technique that is being canceled.
Basically, if you know a technique, and you know your opponent is about to use that technique, then it would be plausible to use Jutsu Sho, otherwise you're wasting your time, effort and possibly a lot of chakra, depending on the rank of the technique you're trying to cancel.
2. After jutsu sho is used it cannot be used again for 3 turns. Neither can the technique that was canceled.
Kai Release
Kai release is can be E to A ranked. It can only break jutsu of its rank and lower. If you want to break stronger genjutsu, use another method or make a custom technique.
Hidan's immortality
You may not have healing techniques/items/summons on the same character. You must be a Jashinist, of course.
Hijutsu: Kirisame [ Secret Technique: Mist Rain ]
This technique is S ranked. It lasts for one minute and may only be used once per battle. It only absorbs chakra from non-living things. It can only extinguish techniques below S rank.
Hell Stab - SS Rank
The hand used becomes paralyzed for several hours after using this technique.
Raiton no Yoroi - Stage 2 - SS Rank
This technique erodes the user's nerves and slows their reaction time after repeated use, similarly to how mangekyou sharingan causes blindness.
SS ranked justu
Must have a drawback.
Genjutsu
All genjutsu must have at least 2 of the following limits. Any canon technique that violates this rule is banned:
-give off signs that its a genjutsu as soon as someone is put into a genjutsu.
-have a very specific and moderately difficulty to activate trigger like Tsukuyomi.
-be easy to break out of once you realize its a genjutsu (e.g. Kai: release or a 1 tomoe sharingan is sufficient).
Handsignless Ninjutsu
See towards the end of the thread, here.
Elements
Under normal conditions you may only have 3 max. If you want to have more, you will have to have a good explanation in your profile.
Reranked techniques
-Raiton no Yoroi stage 2 (The third Raikage's version) is SS ranked.
-Boil release is SS ranked.
Passive strength and speed
Your overall physical ability is largely determined by how many points you have invested in taijutsu and weapon techniques, though age and rank are also a factor. 50 points is max speed/strength, which is equal to Jonin Lee without his weights (and without the gates, that wouldn't be considered passive). See the chart below for speed comparisons, based on points invested in taijutsu/weapon techniques.
0- Slightly faster than a normal human IRL
10- 10% of Jonin Rock lee, no weights
20- 30% of Jonin Rock lee, no weights
30- 50% of of Jonin Rock lee, no weights
40- 80% of of Jonin Rock lee, no weights
50- Jonin Rock lee, no weights
Dark Release
-Requires Physical contact to drain your chakra.
-Can only absorb techniques A rank and below.
-Cannot Reproduce Kekkei Genkai or techniques that use complex shape and nature transformation simulaneously (e.g. rasenshuriken)
-You may only learn up to 22 pts of jutsu with dark release per season. You may still absorb techniques for their chakra, but cannot learn them after the limit is met.
Vanishing Face Technique
By taking the target's face, the user is able to copy their physical identity completely, including appearance, voice, and even chakra signature. It also disguises their soul from Chiyura.
Combination Techs:
When two+ Shinobi have jutsu that can logically combine to create something new, the technique will become a combination of the two + Jutsu, and be granted a damage boost of 1 rank over the highest valued jutsu.
S ranked jutsu increase to a new set, S +, higher damage ratio, but not quite SS ranked.
If two + Shinobi combine SS ranked jutsu together, they then create SS+ , all shinobi interacting will feel the penalties of the jutsu at a 1.5x ratio.
Note that the term is two +, meaning combination of your own techs with your own chakra does not amplify damage ratio, but can be used logically.
Combi Techs do not take a jutsu point slot as it already requires two beings within one battle to use their required jutsu.
