Laura lived a very ordinary and uneventful life. She was captain of the High School Sr.Girls swim team and lived a happy life. Her idols were all of the Water type gym leaders in all regions and she studied their battle styles and techniques all her life. When she graduated she wanted to make the world a better place, a place that was extra friendly to water Pokemon. She decided that Joining Team Aqua was a step in the right direction. She thought it was such a good idea that she didn't care about the other pokemon in the world. She wanted what was best for water types and that was that.
