Selas knew she wasn't on duty or expected anywhere at the moment, so it would be a good time for her to pull out her map and at least try to make sense of HQ and learn where everything was. She could at least remember, vaguely, what was on each floor, so it was a start. She sighed. And just how long would it take her to get used to this place?
Her stomach rumbled hungrily and she blushed, though no one was around to hear or even care. Well, that decided her destination. She would go to the Caf and get something to eat. And she would do it without the blasted map.
'Now lets see here,'she murmured to herself.' The front desk is over there so if I go down this hallway it should be about halfway down and on the ...left, Right?'
Putting words to motion, she walked down the hall, marking the number of doors so she wouldn't get lost, and when she reached the middle she took a deep breath. 'Well, Sela, this is it. Time to see if you actually remembered something or if you still need that map.'
Reaching out, she opened the door slowly. What greeted her was not the sight she had expected. Instead of tables, there were couches and tvs. The walls were lined with bookshelves, not salad bars and buffets.
'Argh.' She wanted to scream in frustration, but she was more controlled than that, so the groan was all she allowed herself. Now where was that damned map again?
