Eternal Sailor Remarque had never really developed a specific area he liked to prowl in the late hours of the night. The park was a go-to for quick energy when he didn’t feel like lurking in dark alleyways and finding a more satisfying target. It made for good hunting grounds, but sometimes you just needed to shake things up.

Remarque had a comfort zone and wasn’t afraid to push himself outside of it; for the past few months, he’d been drifting to a different part of town at least once a week. He wasn’t sure if he was looking for energy or looking for trouble, but he’d been pressing his luck for long enough that he was bound to run into something—or someone.

He’d been in a vaguely familiar part of town; he wasn’t one to frequent the area, though he had delivered some merchandise to a few high paying clients of the shop. It was still his first time venturing in the area powered, and he found himself relatively pleased; he’d picked up on several energy signatures already though they had been faint enough that he didn’t have motivation to make his way to them.

One, however, was very close—and, as Remarque had never been one to discard curiosity, he found himself casually venturing towards it.

Sailor Tsui knew that she shouldn't have ventured out on her own, as per the well chosen, colorful words of a Senshi back at the meeting, but it was inevitable. Tsui simply lived in a different part of the neighborhood and even when she did try to call them, they were either too busy or didn't answer at all. Had she really offended everyone at the meeting so much that none wanted anything to do with her? If that was the case, then screw them. No one had mentored Sailor Tsui when she woke up, and she wasn't there for the Surrounding, so if they were so intent on letting the past remain in the past, why did they seem to intent on assuming that she should remember an event that she wasn't even awakened for, much less participated in?

'Bunch of self-righteous hypocrites who have no idea what they're doing, or up against.' Tsui, Senshi of Tigers, thought to herself, jumping from roof top to roof top in the area that she called her turf and not looking for trouble. Merely patrolling, keeping an eye out for any stray youma, or perhaps a Negaverse lieutenant that knew nothing of her little 'truce' with the general Benitoite. Or even, heaven forbid, an agent of the Dark Mirror Court. It was unlikely in her area, but if she ventured outside, she was certain to pick up on their distinct energy signature. Once again, she wasn't looking for trouble, but if trouble found her, she'd be willing to fight her way out of it. 'Won't even bother with diplomacy. Too suicidal. Too dangerous. Better soldiers die in battle than civilians when we're caught completely unaware!'

There was no point in moping about it now. Not when she moved deeper into the city and maneuvering out of her usual turf and towards the park. No doubt she'd find something out there, and sure enough, her senses began to pick up the faint tingling. Was it a youma? A Negaverse agent, or Dark Mirror Senshi? Tsui was still young, still trying to decipher the differences between the three. But there was one thing she was certain of.

'Could provide an opportunity for a little intel gathering, if I play my cards right. It's not like I'll be taking on the entire Chaos faction all by myself, right?'

So, Tsui made her way towards the strange energy signature, knowing it to be of the Chaos faction but curious, nonetheless. The Tiger was on the hunt...

In the everyday Russian Roulette of energy signatures, this one turned up as Chaos. Not beaming with the power of a General, but certainly not lieutenant class. If anything, it was almost ho-hum - at first feel. Endymion would never consider himself everyday, which was why he was having a difficult time bothering to collect energy. It was, as they put it, a requirement for him despite his main mission. One that he felt was far above something as trivial as going back to the basics he had been weaned one when first awakened.

In short, he really wasn't putting any effort into it, and he was sure the energy quota was sure to bite him in the a** at some point. For now, he was at the park, waiting more for any sightings of knights than actually picking out a lone walker to pluck some energy from. It was too risky, not to mention downright troublesome. There was an entire army of teenagers who could do this.

The prince however was noticing a few faint signatures himself, and he adjusted his footing from atop a tree limb to look out, glancing down to notice that all the walkers had gathered their bikes and left this part of the park. The sun was setting, and created a petal pink.

Noting a flicker of something he had been taught to be either senshi or knight, he turned and jumped down. Being high up was well and good, but jumping from branch to branch like a squirrel was just stupid.

Remarque had been on a straight enough path towards the energy signature, and while he had been curious as to wear its source was coming from, all his questions were suddenly answered when he saw movement—and then something dropping from a tree.

They were close enough that he could make out a few details of the man’s outfit, and while he should have been preoccupied with the order signature looming nearby, he figured that with two chaos signatures there shouldn’t be an issue.

While he did not approach with haste, neither did he do so at a hesitant pace. Remarque casually strolled towards the dark figure, taking in what he could of the male despite only his back being really visible. Besides that, there were very few distinguishable features he could make out. He knew already that he did not recognize this man from anywhere else, and as he seemed no harm in calling out to what he supposed to be an ally, he prompted, “With as often as I find your kind dropping out of trees, I’m starting to think you live there. What were you doing up there?”

Nosy? Perhaps just a bit. But if the Negaverse was going to make a habit of dropping from trees, Remarque would have liked to know what was so damn appealing about it.

Sailor Tsui had known that she wasn't going to be able to hide her energy signature from the two chaos members, but that didn't stop her from at least trying not to come crashing in like a bull in a china factory. She was the Senshi of Tigers, known for their stealth and stalking skills, and she figured she'd at least try.

After all, she wasn't planning on causing much trouble. She considered this more of a spy mission, perhaps get two members discussing their plans or schemes? Not that she'd ever be that lucky, nor think to be able to get away without a scratch, but it was always worth the effort.

So, she drew closer into the park, making sure to step lightly through the grass so that her boots didn't tap against the pavement and hoping she didn't hit a few twigs upon her steady approach. Yes, whomever the Chaos members were, both were powerful, potent, and one she could tell was from a Senshi. A familiar Senshi, but stronger than before.

The other, however, was vaguely familiar, but not that of a Senshi. Yes, a dark aura indeed, but none that she could recognize. Perhaps it was a member of the Negaverse, whom she only encountered twice before. 'Maybe a Lieutenant... no, stronger than that. Though, nothing like Benitoite, so that rules out a general, at least.'

She drew close enough to hear Remarque's voice, and her heart lurched in her chest for a moment. Oh, what luck she had! She slowed her approach until she came to a stop and ducked behind a row of bushes, looking around for the Senshi of Puppetry and the one he was talking to. 'At least let me see what I'm dealing with here...'

The Chaos signature was a lot closer than he predicted, though he had never been that good at detecting how close a signature was (a personal folly he had even when he had been a lieutenant). When he heard the voice and turned, he hadn't been expecting a senshi, but even this close he could tell that it wasn't from the side he was looking for. No. This was different, and yet still a senshi? This made him wary, and he looked about, still sensing another senshi was close by. He had to be careful.

A hand went to the hilt of his sword, and he regarded the vibrant outfit, making him think of purple Gazanias, "You should leave." He warned the other, not wanting to outright blow his cover, but wanting the other to walk away and leave him be. "I don't need you to cause me any trouble." He kept his hand on the hilt of his sword, still sensing the other senshi's aura like a an electricity that rose the hairs at the back of his neck.

He didn't need an encounter with someone on the side of Chaos right now.

Though Remarque had been more focused on the aura in front of him, he was vaguely aware of an order signature—however it was far weaker than his own, and thereby fairly irrelevant. Particularly given how this guy was acting. Looking around? Like that wasn’t suspicious. Bossing him around? Uh, yeah, who did this guy think he was?

Remarque hardly felt any desire to follow Leto, why the hell should he listen to some Negaverse brat?

“I can’t really imagine you’re in any position to be giving me any orders. I didn’t come here with the intent to cause any trouble—” not that he was afraid to deliver any “—But I don’t see why I should leave if you’re the one who has an issue with my presence.”

Which seemed a bit strange for a Negaverse agent, anyway; he’d met those that had mistakenly attacked him, those that had disagreed with his methods and attacked him, met those that were friendly or interested in him and his kind—but never had he met one that tried to tell him what to do.

'What have we here?' Tsui had practically crawled into the bushes now, certain that she'd make some noise but hoping that the two of them would be so focused on one another that neither one would spot her, or care since her energy signature was still like that of a level-one Senshi. Well, she WAS a level one Senshi, so there was little to hide.

Her eyes fell on Remarque first, recognizing him despite their encounter many months ago, and she couldn't help but notice how different his attire appeared. It seemed fancier, more detailed and elegant, and now Tsui had the knowledge to know the differences between the ranks of Senshi. When they had first met, he introduced himself as Super, and the change in attire had meant that he had an upgrade. Which meant...

'He's Eternal now? In such short time?' It was a little unnerving to think of, but thankfully, she didn't have to think of it for long. Not when the source of the other aura had made the demand to leave, and the way he held a hand over what looked like a sword made her curious. Negaverse officers had weapons, but not straight up swords... 'Interesting...'

She remained as she was, waiting to see what Remarque or this other fellow would do. If this fellow was an enemy of Remarque, then perhaps she found an ally?

He pulled the sword out, hoping that showing a blade would cause the senshi to back away and leave him be. "I think a prince has every position to be making that order." He stepped back, not wanting this to continue further. If word got back he fought with one of his allies, he would be reprimanded in some way and it would be this idiot's fault. Endymion doubted he would be given a free pass on the mistake that this senshi hadn't been briefed.

"This isn't going to end well for you if you stick around. Take my advice and leave. I don't want to attack you." He really didn't. There was no victory in it for him, and he was risking too much with this encounter. It was very messy, and he wasn't about to play maid. That was someone else's job on the totem pole.

Remarque’s eyes drifted down to the sword, and for a moment, he wondered if somewhere along the line he’d made a bad decision. He’d been attacked with plastic swords and paper clips and judo chops from the Negaverse, but a real sword? That looked a little more dangerous than the toys the other agents had been carrying. Very briefly did he dwell on his words and actions—as, even if he had done some wrong, Remarque was not going to be held accountable for anything. He had spoken to a Negaverse Agent—and the last time he’d checked, there had been a truce.

Which only meant that he had done everything right, and the guy in front of him was just batshit crazy.

Batshit wasn’t so hard to deal with.

His eyes drifted back to the face of the male—and he smirked. “If you’re a prince, you shame all royalty. They’ve lowered the standards, have they? If you don’t want to fight, lower your sword. But if you’re willing to press your luck,” Remarque spread his arms, as if welcoming the man to strike, “Go ahead.”

There wasn’t a vast amount of space between them, but Remarque was confident that there was space enough that he could prepare himself if the guy in front of him wasn’t simply bluffing.

Despite having the power of an Eternal Senshi, Remarque was disadvantaged at least given that he specialized in hand to hand combat—not hand to sword combat.

Tsui knew that some serious scuffle was about to go down when the self-proclaimed prince had pulled out a sword, and for a brief second, Tsui almost felt bad for the situation Remarque had stumbled into. Tsui recalled what Zirconia had said at the meeting, mentioning something about her cavaliers and real weapons... she was a little hot-headed during the meeting and admittedly hadn't taken in much of what she had said...

'Is this guy one of those parallel knights? What the heck is he doing here?' Tsui thought to herself, though she had her doubts as to his identity. What did it matter who, or what, he was? He had drawn a sword against Remarque, and he had made it clear that neither one were on the same side, and the prospect of getting valuable intel between the two factions. Which meant that a fight was going to break out, and, as brash and selfish as it may be, Tsui wanted in on it. 'There's no way I can take them both on at the same time, so time to choose a side...'

She glanced back and forth between the two, and she didn't even need to ponder on the question for too long. 'Alright, Remarque... looks like you've met your match!'

So, before either one could charge at each other, Tsui had made her entrance, bursting through the bushes and making sure that she added a little extra flare to her landing pose. And if that wasn't enough to warrant their full attention, her shout would sure do the trick. "What we have here is a Mexican standoff! Good evening, gentlemen!"

Right off the bat, this senshi pissed him off. Lowered stanards?! This p***k knew NOTHING of loyalty and probably hadn't even seen a prince, let alone could make any judgements on him. "I'm sure your hours of watching Disney makes you an expert at judging me." He remarked back, lowering his sword just when the other signature all but leapt out of nowhere to stand beside him.

This left him very confused, as he wasn't sure if the senshi was on his side or deciding just to go against both of them or on his side. Blinking a few times, he glanced at the senshi who insulted him, and then at the one that suddenly appeared. "Seems.....I have a partner." He said, looking to the newest arrival back to Remarque. "I suggest you leave like I said before things get a tad messy for you."

Remarque did not even bother to hide the fact that he rolled his eyes at Tsui’s entrance. He knew the girl to be a nuisance, but after their first meeting, he had assumed that she had learned her lesson and—therefore—would know to back the hell off.

“Messy for me?” he asked, looking from Endymion to Tsui. “…I’m sorry, but you apparently have no idea who you’ve got for an ally. Tsui, you’d have been wise to just turn around and head out. If you’d be so inclined, you’re free to take your little friend with you. I’d warrant he’s taken a few too many blows to the head, and unless he wants a few more, I think we can call it a night.”

He figured Endymion might know more about hours of watching Disney; Remarque didn’t wander around claiming to be any sort of Prince, and unless this guy let Disney trick him into thinking that a cape and sword lopped you into ‘Prince’ material, he had to be delusional. Ares was Royalty. Ares was a Princess.

This guy had nothing on her.

Telling Tsui to back off of a fight was like telling someone not to breathe, or someone not to scream when you pushed them out of the window of a tall building. And Tsui was sure that Remarque would have known better, as even though his words were true enough, Tsui simply took a glance at her 'ally' with the sword and openly scoffed.

"Nope, don't know him, but he's got a weapon pointed at you and that's good enough for me." Tsui said, moving to stand by Endymion's side and while she had no weapons on her besides her curled fists, she stood ready to strike regardless. Perhaps it was naive of her to pick a side so quickly, but Tsui was certain that she could get this to work in her favor and she didn't regret it.

Her next words were addressed to her 'ally', low but still loud enough for Remarque to hear. "Name's Sailor Tsui, Senshi of Tigers. Got a plan of attack, or just attack?"

Tsui was usually a rough and tumble kind of gal, but she was never opposed to the use of strategy, especially when she knew that her opponent could likely knock her out with those lightning quick fists of his and she had no idea what kind of magic he might use (and he knew hers). Then there was the considerable rank difference to take into consideration, but that didn't make Tsui want to back down. Strategy was needed here...

He smiled at the senshi of tigers. Tigers at least sounded fierce and powerful, which left him hoping she had some fire power of some sort. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Sailor Tsui. I'm Prince Endymion. I hope you know what you are doing. If you find yourself over your head, do save yourself." It was nice to say, especially that was what his plan was going to be, but this was an opportunity for him. A senshi fighting on his side could spread the word about him.

Despite not wanting to, protecting gained him a lot of points.

"My plan is to not cause any spilled blood. He is from Earth just as we all are." To which he held his sword up. "..and while I know he has power, he doesn't have a weapon." It was times like this he wished Beryl have given him some form of magic. Sighing, he put his sword back in it's hilt and looked to the senshi across from them.

"I don't want to fight you, but I won't let you hurt anyone. What are you out here for?" He called out, playing his part.
