The sun was hotter here, it was the first thing that the alkidike woman noticed as she skulked on the edge of the forest watching her tribe's women slowing down as if noticing something in the distance. Truth be told the woman was furious at being left behind on such an important excursion. They would need her expertise! After all she was one of the leaders 'daughters' and she had more fighting prowess than all of them put together!

Still she hadn't quite simmered down yet, didn't want to come into the group all angry and huffing, she needed to remain cool and so she hid in the forest for now. Her attention was however drawn to the people on the edge ...the weird Leaf tribe..she could spot them from here and figured that she should certainly go investigate them. If she could even kill one her reputation in the tribe would go up.

What she hadn't known though was that there were women amongst the enemy tribe. And after gazing at a few of them she found herself...drooling? Okay so that wasn't the right word, turned on? Nope. All in all she wasn't sure WHY she was reacting this way at the sight of them. Jerarda was a superior creature why would she want to be with one of those? Still she was now edging closer towards them, unaware that she wasn't exactly alone in her hiding spot.

Aminah was wandering through the forest, trying to keep quiet. She had slipped away from the group saying goodbyes and planned to sneak behind them, following their adventure anyways. She was losing herself in thought, thinking about all of the leaf tribe members she had met briefly before the conversation took off without her. They were going to have so much fun. And she would be left out, again. Well, everyone else would think they she was being left out again. Well, honestly, everyone else probably wouldn’t give her a second thought. Not many people in her tribe knew or cared who she was. There were only a few besides her immediate family that she could consider friends, and who knew her enough to care where she was.

The thought lingered in her mind briefly, though not negatively, just something that she could improve on. Her footsteps had started to crunch while she was off in thought and they reminded her to focus on her steps. She shouldn’t draw so much attention to herself if she was going to be sneaky. She had already reached the other side of the forest, the side closest to the Alkidike. She could see them now pretty clearly. They were beautiful; so tall and graceful.

Aminah slowed her steps… she saw something nearby move. She climbed a nearby tree to gain some sight and saw what had caught her attention. A small cluster of dreads poked out from their hiding place. It was another alkidike! So close to her, too. Her breathing quickened. She was suddenly really nervous, almost frightened. She had never come into contact with an Alkidike before and had heard stories of their strength and pure dislike for the earthlings. Her foot slipped and broke a twig from the tree she was residing in. She cringed at the sound, her not-so-stealthy ways were going to give her away before she could even think about what she should do.

Jerarda heard the noise and burst into action, though instead of charging towards the group she knew was there she kept low and had whirled around to see what had snuck up behind her. Startled though quickly regaining her composure (she couldn't appear weak in front of the enemy). Her hands up in a a boxer's defensive position she scanned the area and found nothing, it dawned on her as she sensed the vibrations in the air to finally look up.

Her black like eye's latched onto the girl up in a tree, her hair was silvery white and her skin peach. This rather vague intake of information was enough to inform her that this was the enemy and she burst into action. Moving forward she charged towards the tree the girl was in before she skittered to a stop. Why was she charging? The girl was by the looks of it unarmed and trapped up a tree. This was perhaps the perfect time to see if she could get some information out of the...strange...leaf tribe girl. At least she was pretty sure she was leaf tribe.

Looking up she casually looked over her shoulder and where off in the distance she could see the others. So long as the girl didn't scream their actions would most likely go unnoticed.

"You look a bit lost there...arn't you a bit far from the rest of the pack? Or are you the lone wolf?" She called up crossing her arms under her chest and looking for the most part unworried about the girl making an escape. If anything she may have to go up there and show her who was boss.

The girl’s movements caused Aminah to jump, shaking the tree and pushing herself further off balance. She hung on for dear life; it seemed to her that she fell off of trees way too often for her liking. Her palms and bare feet were already calloused from all of her previous exploits in trees and Jauhar trees were not forgiving.

The girl looked over her shoulder and then spoke to her with an ease of authority. It caused Aminah to stiffen slightly; she sat up, looking in the direction that the girl had looked, as though it would give her some information or help her relax. As long as she was in the tree, she might as well answer.

“What are you doing hiding in the trees? Shouldn’t you be out there with the others of your group? Aminah thought back to the group that she didn’t quite belong to. “I’m not really a lone wolf...” Aminah stretched, letting herself unwind from the her nerves and calm down. 'Calm down' might not be the right phrase though; Aminah was nothing like calm, but at least not nervous. She was starting to feel excited! She was talking to an Alkidike! She was holding her own and doing things her way. She could do this.

Aminah jumped down from the tree, trying to be graceful but really sort of flopping around like a duck as her feet hit the ground and she lost balance for a moment. She smoothed herself out and brushed the dirt off of her legs. “So mysterious-girl-who-isn’t-with-the-group-and-with-crazy-markings, what’s your name?” Aminah smiled, tilting her head to the side.

Jerarda felt good about causing the other to shake with fear, though apparently it was short lived. Since she only explained a few things before climbing down from the tree she was sitting in and almost falling on her butt when she hit the ground. Cute.

"Well then if you are not a wolf then you are just a pup." She retorted giving a sarcastic smile to the other, moving to stand a bit closer to the other though making no move to actually reach out and touch her. Though she did lean forward enough to lean a hand against the tree behind the girl. It brought Jerarda very close though to the other's face. A smile crossed her face.

"I do not think I am inclined to tell you lil' pup. But I must say you are quite fetching."

Aminah’s body tensed as the distanced closed between this strange Alkidike girl and herself. She felt herself press her back against the tree and blush fiercely. Does this kind of thing usually happen with Alkidike? They are only a female species from what Aminah saw, but this was too intense for her liking.

She skirted around the Alkidike, careful to add some distance between herself and this girl. She definitely couldn’t think straight right now. “Uhh… ummm… I mean…” Her face wouldn’t stop shining red. Aminah steadied her breathing, cleared her throat and tried to start again. Think of something witty… right now. She could do it, she just needed some air. Maybe some more space? Aminah was starting to feel more uncomfortable even with the added space between her and this girl. She shook it off and tried to play cool.

She crossed her arms over her chest, tilting her head to the side. “How am I supposed to find out anything about you if you won’t even tell me your name?” As she spoke her nerves began to settle, though she could still feel the remnants of a blush lingering on her face.

Jerarda smoothly went to lean against the tree as the girl evaded her close encounter, cute. Especially so now that she was blushing. It slowly dawned upon her that she would probably enjoy a roll with her. Not...that Jerarda had any real concept of sexual relations, it just sounded cool in her head. Arms crossing over her chest as if this was the best way to convey her strength and confidence she was stronger than the other female.

The girl mimicked her posture and she almost laughed using one hand to gesture at her one could see or note the bandages wrapped around the palms of both her hands. How her feet were wrapped in the same sort as well. It seemed...odd for a forest dweller who tended to be in the tree's more than the ground.

"You are even cuter when your embarrassed." Flirted the alkidike, the smile on her face though not threatening seemed suggestive. "You also seem intent on knowing my name. You can call me Jerarda, proud member of the Alkidike's. " Moving a hand she gestured to the girl before her.
"So pup, do you have a name? Or will I be bound to call you pup forever?"

Aminah’s blush was back full force. She saw the looks this Jerarda was giving her, and it made her squirm in her skin. She felt completely taken off guard by this girl; she wasn’t even acting like herself. She tried to shake these feelings but with every word spoken by Jerarda, her heart raced and her palms sweat. This situation was quite new to her. Even the boys in the leaf tribe didn’t look at her in these ways.

Her ears twitched at the mention of her being a pup again. It might seem cute to others, but Aminah felt more grown up than a pup. “My name is Aminah.” She pouted her lips slightly and turned her head to the side as she spoke. She usually got along with and liked everyone, but this girl was coming on way too strong. Aminah decided inwardly at this point that she needed to try harder to like this girl and to become her friend. She needed more friends, and maybe this Alkidike will teach her things about the others of her species.

“So anyways… what are you doing here? Why are you hiding out from the others?” She smiled genuinely, wanting to know more about this girl. She purposely opened her body language, uncrossing her arms and easing her stance as she spoke. Things would work out ok, Aminah was sure of that.

Jerarda had meant to come on too strongly, after all she was suppose to be a big scary alkdike woman, powerful too boot. The blush was back and it made her grin, it seemed far too easy to make her blush and it felt like this was becoming a very intense game of cat and mouse. Licking her upper lip as if she was hungry it was mostly to moisten her dry lips. The ir was so much hotter here and dryer compared to the lush forest.

"Animah huh?" Jerarda stated her eyes never leaving the girl even as she seemed to relax her stance. Bad choice, if she thought she was safe. "I am not hiding. If i was you'd never of found me." Jerarda proclaimed and...was rather sure of her skills, pushing off of the tree she leaned upon she moved closer to the other girl. It was fun to unnerve her, it helped that she was cute.

"And that is for you to find out now isn't it? Maybe you can convince me to tell you." She was only a few feet away from her now, if she so wanted she could reach out and grab her arm pull her in really close..that seemed to get blush going best being very uncomfertably close.

Aminah had the feeling that this Alkidike was making her blush on purpose. Not that it mattered, knowing she was purposefully doing it didn’t stop another blush from coming. Jerarda was moving incredibly close to Aminah, and Aminah couldn’t possibly keep her cool. She tried to step back, but only succeeded in tripping over her feet. This was not going well at all anymore.

Aminah landed on her rear, wincing slightly at the impact. It felt now like Jerarda was looming over her. Her blush was radiating an intense heat from her face at this point and every effort she made to keep cool and to act like herself seemed to fail. She tried to stammer out some words, but it was just garbled in her throat. “I… you… ummm… why-we…?” Her face flashed a slight frown at the confusion she was feeling. Her thoughts were anything but clear at the moment.

Standing with her back to the sun it seemed to illuminate her in such a way it made her even more menacing than before. Looming above the girl who's name was Animah, she figured she would just return to calling her pup, she liked it better. Stepping forward as the girl stumbled and fell to the ground with a rather painful wince on her face, Jerarda couldn't help but give a short bark of a laugh. Seriously how did her people view these others as threats?

Still, she leaned over very close so that her antenna could brush against Animah's forehead ever so slightly. The alkidike woman was very good at being intimidating apparently she had years to perfect her style.

"Why we exactly..." Jerarda nearly purred as she lowered a hand down on Animah's shoulder, her fingers were strong, or at least Jerarda liked to believe she gave the skin under her fingers a small squeeze before she offered the girl her other hands as a help up. If she was to take it she would obviously pull the girl towards her, giving her the uncomfortable closeness and seeing that blush all over again. IF she didn't take the hand well...she was a bit stuck on the ground wasn't she?

"Now....I am not sure about you ...you look leaf tribe..but your shock of white hair says shifter...are you a mix breed pup?"
PostPosted: Fri Jul 20, 2012 8:58 am

Jerarda’s laugh made Aminah’s brow furrow slightly, but the sudden touch of antennae on her skin brought about a rush of goose bumps. Jerarda was definitely succeeding at being intimidating. Aminah looked up at the hand being offered to her, as well as over to view the way Jerarda’s other hand held her shoulder firmly. Her blush still hadn’t faded and only seemed to increase with Jerarda’s purring voice.

Aminah lightly reached out to grab Jerarda’s hand, already wondering what sort of consequences this may bring. “Well… I… um, I am mixed.” Aminah sputtered out. Her uneasiness over this particular subject could be seen in her face, though Jerarda seemed to be very casual about the whole idea. Maybe mixed breeds are common in Jauhar? “My dad… well, my dad’s a shifter.” She moved her free hand to play with her white hair lightly. ”And my mom’s a part of the leaf tribe.”

Jerarda kept her hand firmly on the others shoulder as her hand was accepted tugging her up and ....releasing her shoulder wrapped her arms around her pulling her close. Given that she was taller than Animah and her rather male like features from a distance you'd almost swear that Animah was having a personal moment with a boyfriend.

Instead...it was quite the opposite.

"Hmmm I never realized that the tribes could tolerate each other enough to have offspring together." Jerarda murmured as she moved one arm to play with Animah's silver hair. Unlike the Alkidikes it was smooth and not dreaded it was...nice to actually be able to run her fingers through it. Jerarda was now pondering just how many half breeds were running around. Did the shifters and the leaf tribe have an alliance that the alkidikes weren't aware of?

"So...cutie...you know anything about what's going down? I see that the tribes are one the move...my sister's seem quite intent on beating the rest of you to their destination...any imput on the subject?"
PostPosted: Fri Jul 20, 2012 12:35 pm

Aminah’s breathing stopped as Jerarda brought her close. This was way too much for Aminah to handle. She just wanted to make some friends. Her face felt too hot to tolerate and her head was getting light. If she didn’t get some air soon, she would probably collapse. Jerarda’s hand brushed at Aminah’s hair, causing Aminah to stutter out a pathetic excuse of a rebuttal. ”Pl-please stop.” Aminah pushed against Jerarda, trying to free herself. Her arms felt much too weak to ever possibly get free. Her feet pushed against the ground to gain a little bit of leverage and she managed to get free of Jerarda’s grasp.

She breathed a sigh of relief and tried to begin again. “I… well, I don’t really know anything. Everyone’s just grouping up.” Aminah’s face was full of warring feelings. On the one hand, she really wanted to get out of there and be free of Jerarda’s overwhelming presense. It felt as though it was crushing her. On the other hand, she didn’t want to be rude and leave. “We’re just wondering what the other groups are up to. Any input on that?”

Awww the little half breed wanted her to stop. How adorable.

Jerarda's toothy smile was almost too much, showing how she didn't seem to care about how ...uncomfortable she was making Animah she just wanted to make her blush at any cost. As the girl managed to push herself away from her grasp she noted how Animah seemed to be able to regain her composure having a bit of distance. Interesting.

Listening to what she had to say the alkidike girl realized that she probably wasn't going to get much more out of her, so she had to be careful what information she past along. After all it wasn't as if she had much of a clue herself...but she wanted to appear to be knowledgeable.

"My sister's gather and rally together, we look to regain our land and make sure you others don't try and take what's not yours..." She indicated, perhaps nudging towards a war which would of thrilled the alkidike entirely too much. How naive.
