Emille smiled as she watched her little girl running around. The day was coming to an end and she was trying to enjoy the last bits of sun before the chill of the night. Despite it growing darker, Emille was happy and enjoying herself. Like a lot of single mothers, she had her depressing times, but Emille had lived through the first few weeks of being alone, and now she felt ready to raise her children by herself.

Her spear was tucked into her cape, neglected and seemingly useless to her. Yes, her father had crafted it for her and yes, she had at least learned the basics to use it. Emille loved the spear because she knew her father gave it to her to protect her but she never really wanted to hurt anyone with it, minus the one that left her and her family alone.

Sighing and smiling, she got up to join Louvia. It was almost time to go find her other two kids that had chosen to wander by themselves for a while. "L-Louvia, my sweet," Emille's voice chimed happily, "T-time to g-go!"

Taking a deep breath, Louvia smiled as she wandered around. It was her and her siblings' first few days out of the basket, and she had to admit, she was glad to be out! The freshness of the outside made the part-kitty mare want to explore every little thing. Louvia also loved how a gentle breeze could make her ears twitch just a little bit. The feeling mad her kind of giddy.

When she saw her mother stand up, Louvia laughed and trotted around her mother. "Okay, Mommy!" Louvia was ready to go and was sad the day was ending, but excited for the next day.
