Riyo had been gone for almost a week. ALMOST. One day off, and it appeared that some of her stuff was STILL missing. Namely most of her furniture. They'd left the bed, teacups, and kettle... But the kitchen table and all of her dressers were gone.
At least they'd been nice enough to dump the things that were in her dressers on the floor... And hey, the desk was still there. Just... Not the chair. It seemed as if they'd left the heavy things behind, which meant it was probably gnomes.
Still, the feline couldn't be bothered with it. She was just happy to be back with shelter over her head and a shower. Blessed shower. She'd taken three today alone, the towel still draped over her shoulders. Good spirits. She was in good spirits! The ghoul never had to worry about her mother again, she was in the process of shutting down her business right under the VP's nose, and she had forgotten all about the awkward turned devastating visit she received from Titus before she left. Nothing could break her stride today!
Absolutely nothing.

And then along came Titus.
It was like he could sense Riyo was in a bad mood because he was moving in to destroy it. He had given her some space for the week thinking you know...she was bat s**t crazy and needed some time to cool down. How was he to know she had been gone?
Coming up to her door he knocked against it lightly with the back of his knuckles before he situated his unbuttoned shirt. Honestly he felt silly but hell it might just work. Lou said to give the girls a preview, Titus supposed he could do that....and be casual? So there he stood with and unbuttoned shirt exposing his toned stomach and chest and the still healing wound in his side. Perhaps it was noticing that or just the feeling of awkwardness that had him hastily buttoning the bottom of his shirt working upward. "Stupid...." Too bad his fingers were working against him as well as the buttons. He was having trouble working the buttons into the holes and he had already buttoned the shirt crooked. Fantastic. Fumbling he tried to fix it knowing time was of the essence and only managed to pop a button.
" Well hell, keep with the plan then he supposed. He had bought a few things at the gas station. Cheap novelties with a little something extra at the bottom. Cat n**. Hopefully Riyo liked gum...though the gum didn't have cat n**....damn...was there money to make in catnip gum? He had to think about that for a moment.

Oh, well. Now who could that be? Maybe Hel had come by to show off her foxfire blanket or maybe Xiu wanted to have some tea. The feline wouldn't mind taking a break since you know, she had no chair to sit at her desk and thus was working on the floor.
Keeping the dark red towel draped around her shoulders, the ghoul hopped up, dusted herself off, and walked her bruised feet over to the door.
"Hey, what's u-" Riyo had been in the process of saying when the door cracked, her whole body freezing as her eyes beheld the sight that was Titus.
For once, the ghoul had looked content. Chipper, even. Right until she looked up at the face that had been sneering at her only a week ago.
There may or may not have been a few sparse moments of the ghoul's eyes wavering down at the state of his undress, but the desire for eye candy was quickly overruled by the thirst for retribution.
Riyo now looked like a mixture of hurt and angry, saying nothing to his face but attempting to let the harsh slam of the door speak for her.
"GO AWAY."
Apparently a week was nowhere near enough time to hope something like that blew over by itself.

It was hard to say why the door opening had been a shock. Maybe it was because he was still in the battle with his shirt and trying to figure out what to do with himself. Just stand there? Lean against the door and look cool? All sorts of possibilities and Titus didn't manage to do a one of them. Nope, instead he just stared at Riyo like a wide eyed bush baby before she slammed the door in his face and yelled at him from the other side.
This plan had not been thought out very well.
Or was this how it worked? This game that Lou mentioned. A ghoul often said no to things she wanted. So by telling him to leave she obviously wanted him to stay. Ah ha ha ha HA! Titus was on to you now Riyo. See, understanding woman wasn't so hard you just had to understand the pattern in which their crazy brain followed which was mostly an erratic mess. Due time due time. Maybe Titus would write a book about it.
For now he pressed onward and since he hadn't heard the chorus of locks that Riyo obviously owned being implemented he decided to turn the door knob and let himself in.
"Well, you're certainly spunky today." Complement? He had no idea it was a shot in the dark.

Of course, Riyo assumed that the loud sound of the door slamming would've been enough of a clue for the boil to get lost. The feline hadn't planned to let him in unless the first words out of his mouth were a profuse sorry and maybe a presentation of canned tuna or something like that. Then and only THEN was she going to humor him, so she'd started walking away from the door and back to the mass of papers littering the middle of her hardwood floor..
... Then the knob turned.
The ghoul's foot stopped mid-step as the squeaking of the door pricked at her ears, wide horror-filled eyes looking back at the boil. What the ******** did he think he was doing?
"Get the hell out of my room you son of a b***h." Riyo turned on her heel to stare at him, eyes trying to focus on his face and not the gap of toned muscle. "I may not be good with names, but I do remember every single word that came out of your mouth last week, and frankly I don't even understand how you have the audacity to march yourself into my room again like nothing even happened." Her face may have been full of rage, but her words made her sound emotionally wounded.

Titus had honestly heard worse in his day so Riyo's words hardly phased him as he made his way through the door peering about the demoness' somewhat empty room. "Redecorating?" Had he heard a word coming out of her mouth? If he had he didn't show it.
Instead he held out the plastic bag he had with him giving it a little shake. "I got some stuff for you." Yeah, that bat s**t crazy was threatening to boil up he just had to pacify it somehow. She might have remembered what he said last week but Titus was a little foggy, mostly because he said terrible things all the time. Remembering the specifics was beyond him. "Take it."
If Riyo choose to take the bag with 'Thank You' written in large bold orange letters on the side she would find an interesting assortment of gum, Swedish fish (because hey they were fish...sorta), a lighter, and a few other bags of assorted candies. They were all things that had been at the counter and he had just grabbed and they all cleverly concealed the catnip underneath which was open...but...Titus wasn't aware of that issue. His rper is just a jerk.

What the ********? WHAT THE ********? HE WAS JUST IGNORING HER. Oh, there was a volcano a brewin' and it threatened to boil over as soon as Titus made one wrong move and-
Wait. W-what was this?
Riyo's face changed from 'you're ******** dead' to 'You're still ******** dead but I'm intrigued' as she hesitantly reached out for the bag. "My furniture was stolen." She mumbled, brows furrowing as she peered in to take a look at what was inside. What was...?
"Is this a joke?" Riyo reached into the bag and grabbed a Swedish fish. "I ******** hate candy." And a lighter? "And I certainly don't s-" Wait. Something was on this wrapper. Something that smelled strange. Familiar. A feeling of terror started to weave into her being as slowly but surely, the more that scent filled her nostrils, the more she realized it was certainly not something good.
"Ohhhhhhhh heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell noooooooo."
The ghoul's eyes began to dilate as she stood there looking down at the bag.
then, on a whim, she dumped the contents on the floor and... Started rolling in it. "Hehe. Rolly rolly roll~"

"I don't know what people like I don't eat myself I just...." Wait....what was Riyo doing? She had started to yell and now....now she was rolling on the ground in the midst of the scattering of catnip and candy. 8|
If Titus thought she was bat s**t crazy before he really didn't know what to think of her now as he slowly approached and pulled the bag away from her with the container of catnip inside. He freed the container to find the lid slightly ajar and fumbled to fix it but just like his shirt it couldn't have gone more wrong. In an instant it was raining kitty weed and Titus was the victim of the downpour. He coughed and sputtered as some of it flew in his face finding the smell far from...well roll on the floor worthy.
"Bleh, this stuff smells like s**t." He grumbled throwing the now empty container aside and trying to dust himself off.

And in an instant, Titus was ********, but not in the way he wanted to be.
The cats.
They'd smelled the catnip, and had already been on their way. IN THROUGH THE DOOR THEY CAME IN A FLOOD, LIKE A SWARM OF LOCUSTS TO A FIELD OF UNTOUCHED CROPS. They jumped. They climbed. They nibbled and they scratched. Titus was now a total p***y magnet.
And drugged Riyo would do nothing to remedy it. She just curled up next to his leg and rubbed her face.

Let it never go said that Titus' couldn't attract p***y because to the demon's horror it was completely untrue. He had heard the soft rumble in the distance at first unsure what it was but became alarmed as it drew closer. Concern started to etch across his features as the soft rumble turned into a roar of padded feet that quickly came through the door in a wave of cats.
Suddenly CATS. THOUSANDS OF THEM.
Okay, that might have been an exaggeration but Titus didn't think so at the time as he was all but mobbed. The first line of felines came pouncing at his face and the demon let out a shriek before he was taken to the floor by the sheer numbers.
"Riyo get your damn cats off me! Riyo!" Titus managed to spot the demoness through a fury of fur to see her still rolling around on the floor. Peachy. This was just ******** peachy.

Titus screamed, and Riyo giggled, because somewhere in that drugged little head of hers, the vindictive side was still watching from the sidelines in amusement. "Your screams make me happy." The ghoul sighed as she looked over at him and tilted her head.
But that was quite enough. Laying on her back, the ghoul held up her hands and distinctly clapped twice. It was both alarming and impressive to see almost all the cats stop and single file their way off of the boil and back to their own respective hideouts in the room before the ghoul had left. Some things never change, apparently.
Then the ghoul flopped back over and crawled her way towards the boil. "My turn." Now instead of a mass of cats, Titus only had to worry about a big one curling up next to him and nibbling on his shirt.

There was an audible grumble under all the cats. Sure...she was happy now. Before any sort of colorful language could leave his lips he heard the claps and suddenly everything came to a stop. One by one the cats filed away into the room leaving Titus in his curled up position on the floor. When it seemed the coast was clear he relaxed and rolled over on his back.
His torso, arms, and face were a mess of scratches, his shirt and pants had holes and tears and on a whole it looked like he had just been attacked by a clowder of cats. Oh wait.
He took a moment to close his eyes, intent to regain himself a little before he started to yell when he suddenly heard 'My turn' and felt a tug against his shirt and a weight at his side. When he opened his eyes he found Riyo VERY close and chewing on his side. "W..woah hey..umm...yeah...t-t-that's my...." It was like he had been struck dumb, all thought process going out the window as he stared at Riyo beside him. This had been what he wanted right? How was he still so unprepared?

Riyo's tail thumped on the floor as she seemed to relax, the remnants of the scent keeping her complacent for now.
"You smell good, T-chan." The feline purred, his shirt falling out of her mouth as she opened it to talk. Though whether it was an actual compliment or just because he reeked of catnip was anyone's guess.
Though, instead of continuing to chew on the fabric afterwards, Riyo lifted her head up enough to rest it against the boil's chest, her ear twitching to the beat of his heart. He was all warm and soft and stuff. Maybe she could take a nap.

A slight hue of red began to dance its way across Titus' face as he looked away. Now what was he supposed to do? Think THINK! His brain was at a loss to turn this situation in his favor. What else was it that Lou had told him to try?
"O...oh you think so?" He still couldn't look at her as he tried to think. What else had Lou said about animals.....
....
.............
OH! Finally forcing himself to look at the feline Titus brought up a hand slowly. It looked like he was undetermined with what he wanted to do at first, his hand merely hoovering in the air before he finally moved in and took hold of Riyo's ear. Probably not gently.

It was quiet, all except for the boil's voice and heartbeat. The ghoul had grown quiet, her purrs starting to settle into nothing more than an afterthought. Was she really falling asleep? Quite possibly.
Her eyes blinked a couple of times before they finally closed.
And then there was an unholy pain.
An unholy pain that was enough to kill anyone's buzz.
Riyo wasn't sure exactly what was happening when her eyes shot open and the world came back into perspective, but she did know this. 1. she was half-laying on top of someone and 2. the last person to visit was Titus. In such a situation, unless you wanted your ears yanked out, you didn't push away.
"The second... You let go of me... I'm going to rip open your chest with my teeth, break your ribcage, and feed your heart to my cats." The ghoul hissed through the pain, her hands clenching his shirt weakly. It seemed like a good idea at the time to threaten him in such a way at the time. Threats made her sound strong, right? She had to hide the fact that he'd managed to somehow find two of her major weak spots in less than an hour. One was enough, wasn't it?
