Background Information Character History: Zane was the second son of a loving family who raised him to be a cheerful, kind hearted boy. He had a strong and stout heart, filled with Light and barely a sliver of Darkness. Zane enjoyed his peaceful life with his parents and older brother, spending his days in comfortable ease. Until the Heartless arrived. The horde of Heartless ravaged his world, killing and rampaging undeterred. Even the armies of his world fell quickly to their unrelenting attack. Zane lost everything he once loved. His parents, his brother, his friends, and his home. Following the Heartless take over, each and every day was a struggle for life, whether it be repelling the Heartless that constantly sought his powerful heart or merely finding food and shelter. Zane's once pure and indomitable heart was made vulnerable by the horrors he witnessed and tragedies he survived. The Darkness, recognizing his heart's moment of weakness, took its opportunity. It corrupted his heart, consuming it in Darkness that quickly extinguished any Light left in him. Zane allowed his heart to plummet into the void, blaming the Light's weakness for his family's death. Now fully immersed with Darkness, Zane saw its true power, and its vast superiority over the Light. The Darkness beckoned to him unlimited power, a chance to survive, and an opportunity to forever snuff out the Light he now despised from the worlds. Zane took its offer. His originally blue eyes turned a menacing yellow to mark his descent. The Darkness that had corrupted his heart manifested Zane's own hidden power in the form of a weapon. The Keyblade. Taking his Keyblade, named Oblivion, Zane emerged from the ruins of his world alongside the Heartless, the very same who destroyed his home. He departed from his former home to spread Darkness to the other worlds. But he would be no pawn. Realizing his own potential, he aimed for the very top. He would master the Darkness and make the corrupted worlds his domain, devoid of the feeble Light. The Heartless were his allies...for now. He would make them his own horde once he achieved his ambition. Abandoning his past, Zane took the alias Kaiser as he traversed the worlds to complete his goal.
