"Ehehehehehee."
Mischievous little giggles floated upwards as Danny and Amphi awkwardly huddled in a bush together. They were probably the least secretive people in Halloween, and yet they were attempting a prank nonetheless.
The target, was Rikki. Danny didn't quite realize that Amphi still hadn't met Rikki, but it didn't matter. All that mattered was the prank.
"He's gonna look so dumb!" Danny giggled to herself, trying to cover her mouth to keep the sounds from escaping.
Spoiler: They were not master pranksters.

Amphi had been on her way to visit either False, Thana or Roch...one of the three reapers...or maybe even Shun! Or Hel! She could visit any of the reapers right at this time and was planning on at least a chat with one of them for the day. You know, a courtesy check up on the reapers she was so fond of stalking.
What she did not expect was to be pulled into a bush by Danny, her finger playing on her lips.
"What...Danny?" The mermaid squeaked, easing herself into comfortable sitting in bush position and stared..."What are we doing?" She blinked as Danny pointed at some reaper and mentioned bombing him.
"Oh I see!" She stared the victim and then turned back to Danny, loudly whispering, "But who is he?"

Danny blinked. There were people here that didn't know who Rikki was? This was a new concept entirely.
"That's Rikki! He's my boilfriend, remember?" she announced, a smile crossing her lips. She held up one of the remaining two desu bombs Danny had and said, "Ehehehe he's so dumb he'll never see it coming!"
Actually, it was entirely possible he'd see it coming because they were being STUPIDLY LOUD.
But nevermind that.

"Ohhhhhh...." Amphi looked at the boil, surprised that he ran the same style almost like Roch's though more...Chains? And orange...Lots of Orange...He oddly suited Danny!
"He is very handsome boil..." Amphi thought out loud, "Are you sure...you want to bomb him?!?!" Last time Amphi bombed someone....it had been Roch, smelling like rot chocolate and glitter.
And then the one Gene had bombed Roch with as well that smelled like Sea salt...
"Oh but..." She flushed, "won't he be mad if you get him like that Danny?!?!" not that she was really against it, she just didn't want Danny to get in trouble or her boilfriend to get upset at them!

Did she wanted to bomb him? WAS JACK THE PUMPKIN KING? "'Course I wanna bomb him! It's funny." She nodded sagely. "The way Roch freaked out was jackin' hilarious- I wanna freak Rikki out too!"
The other question made her blink a few times. Would Rikki be mad? Ehhh, he'd probably get a little frazzled. He hated glitter more than anything ... but that's why it was funny!
"No way," she answered, wrapping her hands around Amphi, squishing their cheeks together. "He loves me almost as much as I love you. Almost."

"Oh well! I guess it would be funny!!" After all, she even laughed at Roch's expression cause he had been super upset but...he also seemed to calm down when she told him he smelled really good.
And he had too...Mmm Roch in sea salt...
"okay! I will help then! do we just...wait till he comes closer?!?" She squeaked at the cheek rub and smiled, greedily reaching for Danny hugs as well..."I love Danny too!" She nodded, "Rikki could never beat my love for Danny! Your the best friend ever!"
Cue loud proclamintion of love for Danny from Amphi.

Danny laughed and hugged Amphi tighter. They were just the best of friends. They were going to hang out in this bush for the rest of the day reveling in how good of friends they were.
WAIT. NO. THEY HAD A MISSION.
She looked at Rikki and stuck out her tongue, an expression of utmost concentration. She couldn't focus on a book for more than five seconds, but throwing something like a bruteball? Mondo important.
She slid out of the bush just enough to get her arm out and threw the desu bomb at Rikki. With a giggle she threw herself back into the bush and clung to Amphi for dear unlife- caught up in the moment and adrenaline entirely.
It was a smashing success all things considered as she heard a strange jingle the bomb made and glitter went flying everywhere. Danny sniffed and ... was that candycane scent? She shuddered a little remembering Christmastival. Oh well, still funny!

Amphi continued the hug, happy enough at the moment.
Then the bomb exploded and Amphi was clinging to Danny again for life...or death.
She wondered just what would happen now...

Rikki had pretty much perfected the ability to ignore Danny when she was being loud and moderately obnoxious. It was one of the secrets to the success of their relationship. Another secret to the success is that Danny didn't know the secret, so she never got mad at him for it. It was a win-win tactic.
That went a long way in explaining why he'd begun to walk right past their bush without so much as a weird glance. If Danny wants to play in a bush, whatever, he just hoped she didn't set one on fire again. He had things to do today so she could romp and roll wherever she'd like and he'd just pull the twigs out of her hair before bed tonight like he always did.
Even the jingling sound was lost on him, thanks to his jingly chained nature.
Seriously, Rikki was jacking oblivious to this bomb.
When it hit him and he stumbled, a noxious cloud of glitter burst out and rained around him, a cloud so dense he couldn't see for a moment. The scent of minty candy strangled his senses and made him cough. Or maybe he'd just inhaled glitter. Probably a mixture of both. Everything began to settle - on his clothes, in his hair, clinging to his chains. Rikki was effectively being transformed into a discoball. A minty, bewildered discoball.
He stood stock still for a long moment, as if he had no idea what had just happened. And then there was a SCREECH and a dance that looked something like the living embodiment of asdfghjkl; as he tried to fight off his new layer of glitter.
If there was anything in Halloween that Rikki hated, it was jacking glitter.

As Rikki screeched and danced, Danny slowly let go of Amphi, relaxing with laughter. Pretty soon she was at a rollicking laughter that had her quite literally "rolling on the ground laughing."
She rolled right out of the bush and onto the pavement near where Rikki was doing his little interpretive dance.
"AHAHA YOUR FACE," Danny got in between laughs, "YOU LOOK PFFTHSHSH AHAHA."
Best prank was the best.

Amphi popped her head out of the bush, a small smile tugging her lips as Danny rolled her way out.
She had to admit, the dance and the face and Danny's laughter eased her own shy laughter as she looked at the boil.
"It was funny indeed!" The mermaid exclaimed, "I am jealous of all your glitter though!" She was a bit tinged with envy that she didn't get covered in it all.
For now it seemed they were safe!

"If you're so jealous, you take it!" And he promptly flailed out of his shirt and jacket in record time, somehow not getting caught up in chains in the process. Both went sailing toward the ghoul as he leaned over to vigorously rub his hands through his hair and try to get the glitter out. His dark locks had never been so sparkly.
"Jackdammit, Danny," he pouted. He didn't sound angry, or really all that upset, just a little panicked. "I smell like jacking Christmastival. Where did this crap come from?"
It was about then he realized he'd just thrown his clothes at a strange ghoul. and he straightened up slowly, eyes wide. "Uh, who are you?" Better questions were, how did Danny loop her into this, why was she so pretty, and why did her style vaguely remind him of Danny's?

Danny was laughing so hard she was choking for air, and when the sweatshirt flew towards Amphi, inevitably landing the poor ghoul. She couldn't help it. The entire situation was so damn hilarious.
"DESU BOMB," Danny choked out between snorts of laughter. This really wasn't an attractive image. At least she was having fun.
After a while though her laughter subsided, and she managed to weakly stand up, wobbling and still letting out a giggle every few seconds. "This is Amphi!" Danny introduced, not even trying to help the other ghoul with the clothes. The mermaid would probably have to give herself a better introduction.

Amphi blinked as the boil yelled over at her, his clothes miracously disappearing from him and on to her, promptly covering her whole head.
"Um!" She flailed, blinded for a second as she pulled them off and then proceeded to stare at them...Glitter! Shiny! and then looked at the boil who was undressed. A flush crept up as she melted back into the bush.
Oddly enough, she was still holding the garments in her hands and staring at the boil like he was just she didn't even know. how was she met all the reapers shirtless. :'|
"Oh...Yes! I am Amphitrite! A mermaid. Its very um...Nice to see...well meet you Rikki." She held out his clothes though, "do you want...these um...back?"

Rikki continued to run a hand through his hair half-heartedly (let's face it, the glitter was there to stay) as he examined the ghoul's face. He'd remember seeing a face like that before. She and Danny seemed pretty buddy-buddy, though, so why hadn't he at least heard of her? Perhaps he had, and he'd just shrugged it off as a minipet's name or something. Danny didn't usually hang with ghouls. Much less a mermaid for that matter. How did that work? Maybe she was some mutated breed of lava mermaid or something.
"Nyyrikki Synkka, grim reaper. It's nice to meet you too. And ah," he grimaced at the offered clothes and their especially shiny coat of glitter. "I guess I can't really wash them if I don't take them," he conceded, taking them and shoving them in his waistband.
Finally able to think straight, if a little sparkly, he leaned over to press a kiss to Danny's cheek. "Am I the only target today, or are you going back to hiding in the bush for the rest of the afternoon?"
