This had been only slightly uneventful since Mei had returned from whatever it was that she had been swept off to. Every time she tried to remember and fill in that feeling of lost time nothing would ever crop up. She tried to forget about the locker room, it was just about the only thing she could remember. At least, she remembered everything clearly up until the point where she had found herself still standing there in front of the locker, dazed and confused. It really made no sense. What had happened? The small ghoul had spent most of the following days milling through her classes and visiting with other students. Making new friends here and there. But today just seemed to be the slowest day ever since. Sitting up a bench, she swung her legs back and forth. Humming a little tune to herself as she stared off at nothing in particular.

The best thing anyone could do during confusing times was burn off every bit of excess energy that they had until they were, pure and simply, exhausted. At least, that was the case according to Yin. Confusing glimpses of something he seemed to have forgotten, whispers that he could have had more. He finally could have made something of himself but he was weak. Too weak. Training with Lady Hel and Shun had proved quite informative, and he was looking for opportunities to practice some of those skills when he began to jog past a bench. And then slowed down and circled back. "Miss Meixiang?" The ghoul in questioned looked either bored or...she was looking at something he was not seeing as she seemed to be staring off into the distance. He really was not sure what else to say to her now that he had stopped, which made this slightly awkward. "Um...how are you doing today?"Yayoi Seu just told me it was you

Mei blinked as a familiar face stopped by her bench, snapping her out of her thoughts for the moment. She smiled up at the boil warmly. The Jiang Shi didn't know much about Yin cept from what she had seen during group times and interactions with Alex. Either way, it was nice to see a somewhat familiar face today. Everyone seemed to be off doing their own things right now. Even she had selected solitude to gather her thoughts. "Yǐn Cáng, so good to see you again." Her legs stopped swinging as she planted the tips of her toes onto the ground. He seemed a bit awkward, she could pick that up immediately. "I'm doing fairly well, how have you been? Everything good with you so far today?"ramenli Indeed it was kekekeke.

To hear her using his full name was somewhat of a surprise, but it was a welcome one to be sure. It put him slightly more at ease around the ghoul, though he did not know her well enough to be truly comfortable. "Thank you for your concern I have been...well," he supposed. Confused, a bit lost, and seeing strange glimpses of things were not too bad. Not for Amityville at least. And specifically today he was doing rather well indeed. A sudden thought struck him and he looked ever so faintly horrified. "I hope I did not intrude Miss Meixiang. You did not appear to be busy but if you would prefer to be alone I would not be offended." Yin was so great with his people skills. Yayoi You think you know a guy

Mei felt like there should have been a but in that statement, but she didn't want to push the boil on the subject. She didn't know him well and it might have been rude. Laughing, she rubbed the back of her head. Her sleeve billowing around her elbow as she did so. "Ah no, its fine. No intrusion." She patted the bench beside her. "Feel free to sit down if you would like. If you are not too busy that is." It was up to him. "I was just mulling over recent events is all. And things that may be to come." Clicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth a couple times, she tilted her head. "Out for a run?" ramenli- Jokes on you. I'ma lady~

He did not particularly wish to sit, he was really rather fine standing, but he was not busy either, and it was a nice invitation. He sat next to her, perched on the edge of the bench and slightly turned to face her. "Yes, a leisurely run," he answered the question first, waiting to speak on her earlier statement until he had had a chance to mull it over for a moment. "Recent events? What type of events? Oh I...I do not mean to pry Miss," he seemed slightly flustered at the very idea. He barely knew her, really only that she was friends with Alexander, so she could not be that bad. Probably. Alexander obviously had slightly weird taste after all. "You do not have to answer such a query."Yayoi Well played sir, well played

Placing her hands on her knees, she turned just slightly so that she was facing the boil. "Ah, do you do a lot of running then? Sometimes when I get the inkling I'll do a bit of free running myself. But that's more for agility than actual speed."There was a lot going on, it always seemed like something was happening to the Jiang Shi. Of course, not that she was complaining. She was enjoying, almost, every bit of her time here at the school. "Ah well Prom. Meeting some new friends. Some new classes that I've taken. Yearbook stuff." The ghoul fidgeted just slightly. "Relationship stuff. Ya know. Just events." She didn't mind answering his question really. It was nice to talk to others and perhaps it would help her have an easier time of conversing with the Weremantis. ramenli I try~

The funny thing was, if Yin had known that parkour and free running was almost the same thing, he might have offered to try it with her. As it was he was slightly confused about how free running was different than running, and if some places people paid to run. It was a legitimate concern. "Indeed, I run at least once daily. It is a nice warm up."Oh so just normal things. Though he almost blanched when she said "relationship stuff." He was really, really not trying to infringe upon her personal life, and it set him ill at ease that she might think that he was. Therefore he latched onto the one thing he was not entirely sure about. "Yearbook?" He frowned, trying to think of why that word sounded familiar. "That was what we filled out forms for? Where we wrote down people's names? Do you do that often?" Apparently he had managed to fill out the form without actually knowing what it was. Yayoi Great success there~

Nodding, she folded her hands inside her large sleeves. "Yea, running is nice but there's nothing like finding a building or some structure to shamble up. Somedays I'll climb to the top of the school buildings and just stand there. Everything looks so small and fragile from the height."Leaning back against the bench she smiled to herself. "Mmhmm! That is what that booth was for and the forms, yes. I just volunteered that day actually so I haven't really done too much since then. I need to catch up with Amrita sometime and talk more yearbook stuff." His questions gave her pause. "You do know what a Yearbook is?" She cocked her head to the side as she glanced at him from the corner of her eye. ramenli Awwwww yeeeaaa~

Yin had never really given much thought to just climbing up walls for the view. Climbing up walls...yes, but normally to get back to his room or escape something, or just to burn off energy. "Yes, I supposed it is pleasant up there. So you like heights?" He asked politely. Well, at least he had correctly connected the booth and the Yearbook. Though he was not sure what else she would need to do with that, unless she had to read all of the forms. That would be...rather embarrassing. It was hard enough to fill out the form, and normally he did not think about other's reading what he had written. It was probably atrocious. Her question made him pause, and he began to wonder if maybe, just maybe, he was not sure what he had done when he had written everything out. "It is the form about naming people?" He said rather questioningly, with just a hint of hopefulness in his tone. Yayoi Aw yeah dancing

"Oh yea! Love heights. Being short as I am its nice not having to look up for once." The ghoul grinned with a laugh. She honestly didn't mind being short, but with some of the taller students around sometimes she got a sore neck from having to crane her neck back just to make eye contact. "Mmmm, well. The forms you filled out were information that might possibly end up in the yearbook." Straightening out her legs, she began to swing them back and forth slowly. Trying best to figure out how to explain what the Yearbook was. "Basically, its a book that everyone gets a copy of. It'll have your photo for that year, sometimes a little blurb. Plus other class photos strewn through out it and student comments. Its basically a memento so that you can look back on all the things that happened that year." She hoped that explained it a little better to the boil.

"I had not considered heights in such a manner," he admitted, though he well knew she had a point. Sometimes, when zomboils let themselves grow out of control, they ended up tall enough to give him a crick in his own neck. "Information?" He sounded slightly distressed. "But I was not aware of the correct answer for all of the questions." Indeed, he had just put down who he could think of at the time, and hoped that he spelled names correctly (though groanspring had helped on that front). And it might actually be put into a book? The memories might be nice, but this was all highly, highly distressing. "Is there a way to get my paper back? I think that some of the answers may need to be checked." Yep, still totally fixated on that and not the idea of having a picture or a book with him in it. Yayoi Con season starts tomorrow night, I may or may not respond until next week! /erases did and puts will

She slowly blinked at the Weremantis, a look of confusion washing over her face as she scratched at her cheek with a finger. "There really was no right or wrong answer to the questions. Its all basically just taking answers from the perspective of the student themselves."The Jiang Shi felt kinda bad now. She'd sent the boil into what seemed close to a near panic about the whole situation. "I mean, I guess you could talk to Amrita but she might just call you silly and shoo you away." Having the urge to pat him on the shoulder, she resisted it. Instead she gave him a warm smile. "Don't worry about it so much. It'll be ok, you'll see. No one is gonna judge you or make fun of you for anything that you wrote. Its all just for fun."ramenli Okie doke. I guess I can be patient for replies. QQ

Why could there not just be clear answers sometimes? It did mean that he probably had not completely messed up, but it would be easier if he had known what he was supposed to do in case there was another Yearbook trial. "Oh I would not wish to be a bother to her," he said, not positive who Miss Amrita was, only able to assume that she had been the one at the booth when he had turned in the paperwork. "Does...does everyone get one of these yearbooks?" he questioned. "And...will they put in everything that was written down?" Yayoi You had better be :/ (Not technically a gif)

"I doubt you would be a bother. Amrita is very nice and willing to talk to anyone who seeks her out." At least the older Undead girl was to her when she'd first met her. She reminded herself to track down the other ghoul sometime later to do a bit of Yearbook chatter and catch up. "Yep! Everyone gets Yearbooks. I don't know if they'll put everything that was written down. Probably pick and choose certain things that they have room for. If they included everything it would probably be a really REALLY big book." Holding out her hands, she pretended as if she had a thick book in between her palms for emphasis. ramenli Nuuuuuuuuuuu!
