After the events with the horsemen most of the hunters were out of it, confused and weak. Ceres had been a little cavalier, in Bix's opinion, drawing unwanted attention from one of the heirs. She'd left with a nasty surface burn, currently a hand shaped and bandaged scab over her face. He'd left the girl in her room to shower and change and promised to come back later with some comics and snacks since she wasn't keen on walking around the halls like a mummy.
He came back with a stack of books and a bag of snacks. The albino hunter had showered and changed and currently his hair was loose, up in a ponytail, still damp. As he'd gotten dressed he'd gotten a bit of a chill, a wave of exhaustion, but he just figured it was a post-mission reaction and shrugged it off to keep his promise to his injured friend.
"Knock knock.." Bix rapped his knuckles on the door and tried the nob after a moment.

It had been rather awkward enough to bathe as is, she had to lean her head backwards while showering to make sure no water ran over her face to avoid the scabbed wound. She washed at her exposed face separately, in front of a mirror, to avoid the bandage which still clung to her face awkwardly. All over now, she had already returned to her room dressed but feeling ok? Little battle worn perhaps.
The door would be unlocked, as it was when she was home. He would open the door to find her sitting on her desks chair, fussing with her hair. It was still damp and she was pulling a brush through the mess. Her hair when down reached to her middle back, not as long as Bix's but still heavy enough maintenance as it was.
"I have no idea how you constantly put up with that hair of yours, its so much work!" Ceres muttered to him as she finally caught sight of the albino. Placing the brush on the table, she was content that it was as detangled as possible.
She stood up a second later, intent on helping him with his load, and apparently she stood TOO fast. With a flick of her head she found the world traveling in slow motion. Stumbling over her own feet, its a wonder that she even caught her balance back.A headache that was not there a moment ago suddenly was, and she felt it growing at rapid speeds. Light suddenly hurt her eyes, her body was beginning to ache too. She felt a little woozy in the showers just minutes ago, she thought it was just fatigue from the horseman battle, but this... this was different. "Bix...i dont feel so good." What was going on?

Bix, on instinct, reached to stop her from falling. Of course the sudden movement made his own head swim as well. The albino grabbed her desk, leaning on it heavily a moment until the lightness seemed to seep a bit away.
"Ughhh.. me either." Bix dropped the food on the floor, deposited the books on the desk, and righted himself eventually. "Maybe we caught something?"
A chill ran up his spine and his skin began to ache. He could feel the tell-tale cold symptoms but the swooning was something new. The young man moved to Ceres' side and manuevered her to fall onto her bed.
"Lay down a second.." He'd.. get blankets or something.

The food dropped on the floor should have bothered her, right? Well maybe, if she did not suddenly feel like she was walking on the ceiling. The headache grew another notch until she had to squint to see, light and even sound making her head split in two. A fever was blossoming over her head, causing Ceres to feel feint. Her body flashed from warm to cold faster than she thought possible, and even her brain was sluggish in comprehending what was happening. Something that she knew was symptoms of a REALLY BAD cold was hitting her faster than a freight train late for a lunch date. Lazily looking towards Bix, she could tell he himself was also feeling the symptoms.
What the hell was going on?
She did not even have might fight in her, when he placed her next to the bed she laid back with only a nod. "I have a store of blankets in the closet. Turn the..light off please too." She mumbled out, placing a arm over her eyes to make the room dark. Darkness was one thing that sure migraines for her, that and maybe sleep.

Thankfully the bag of snacks was simply chips and juices and sodas. The sound of it hitting the floor sounded worse than it really was. It was the last thing on Bix's mind. Something moved out of the corner of his eye.
"Huh?" A sharp pain invaded his head, a throbbing stab behind the eyes.
Blankets. Light. Check.
He was suddenly blazing hot. Why did he want a blanket? He was sweating his a** off! By the time he smacked the lightswitch, he was freezing again.
There stumbling in the dark, crashing, and then Ceres would feel his weight thumping onto the foot of her bed, a 6' length of cocooned hunter curling up above the sheets.

She did not even feel Bix hit the sheets, she had drifted off the moment after he flicked the light switch.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TIME GAP~~~~~~~~~~
The world was pressing in around her, gravity suddenly was not just a simple thing but a sensation of pain and frustration. Her head was still pounding, and she honestly felt no better than when she first hit the bed some... She flicked her eyes up at the clock. Hours ago.
She really should try and move, but even as she did so her body refused to listen. Ceres found herself half covered with blankets, half uncovered.
And then the coughing fits began. She felt warm, then cold, then warm, the room spinning, and entirely helpless as she coughed a few lungs out. She didn't need them anyways..right?
Was she dying?
Ugh... Stretching a foot out she met resistance, frowning even in her current state, she poked her toe into whatever it was a few times.
The resistance was a lump, a solid weight roughly in the shape of a man, wrapped and cocooned in a blanket from her closet. He groaned when she poked him, every shift of his body sending aches and chills to his swimming head. He sniffled and unconsciously smeared his nose on the blanket edge but he was stirring miserably.
"Muuhhh.." His eyes cracked and Bix attempted to lift his head. His pale bangs were plastered to his forehead from the intermittent sweating. He didn't really intend on spending sick time in a ball at the foot of her bed like some sort of pet, but he didn't have much choice since he wasn't sure he could make it down the hall.
She toked one last time before the response, blinking her eyes a few times as the lump made a vaguely-human like noise. It was around then that her sluggish mind caught up to her and reminded her that Bix was there.
Oh, oh right.
"S-sorry for waking." She let out a rather large sneeze. "You." That was around the time the shivering started. It was uncontrollable, and caused the woman to yank at the blanket that was under her and Bix, so she could curl up under it. Bix would probably feel the shivers because they were on the bed, but she really wasn't in the mood to care if they kept him awake. "Wha, wat the h-ell." Another sneeze." Happuned?" The words were butchered as she mumbled through the sneezes and coughs. She unconsciously curled herself into a tighter ball then, to give the larger man more room at the foot of her bed plus to trap her body heat close to herself.
"I think we got sick.." Bix snorted, suddenly realized his nose was stuffed. He moved, shifting like an inchworm until he was nudging next to her on the mattress. The foot of the bed was just not enough... and he was suddenly freezing. "Something in the battle.. maybe? Never had this happen before though.."
He finally got his head up near hers, though you could only see his eyes over the edge of his own blanket. He glanced to the side suddenly when he thought he saw something but it was nothing. His head was swimming anyway.
His eyes were heavy. "Move closer its.. freezing." He grumped.
Ceres did not need to be asked twice. Scooting under the covers she brought herself so she was close to him, her side pressed against blanket-ball he had made himself. With some effort she tucked the remainder of the open side of the blanket under her, stuffing it under and tucking in her feet. She was still shivering even after doing this, but less so now. "I-onno." She mumbled face into the blanket. Her body was already going into shut down mode again. The woman had never been this sick before, seeing others yes but never herself. She would just need to trust her body to know what to do to take care of itself.
"It reely sux tho." Head on her pillow she was soon drifting off to sleep once more.
Bix was asleep already.
That night was bad, particularly. Bix never felt like he was asleep very long. He'd rouse with a fever and tear off his blanket as he sweated and then as he'd drift off again he'd plunge into cold chills. At some point he ended up under the blanket with Ceres, though he couldn't remember it, and the second blanket was spread over the both of them.
His body still ached, tender to touch, so the pair of them didn't cuddle up. They stayed just far enough apart to still soak up the warmth of a body. Bix couldn't even think about touching her. Everything felt awful and he was gross and touching another human being was the last thing on his mind.
Eventually he'd fallen into an actual sleep and when daylight burned against his eyelids he finally roused. One nostril had come unstuffed and he sniffed greedily with it before groaning and rolling over to face Ceres.
She had not faired well herself. It seemed any time she settled down to sleep, Bix woke up a moment later and started up her own coughing fits. The night was filled with coughing, sneezing, over-heating, and freezing moments. She had not felt him get under the same covers as she, but even if she had in her current mindset, she would not have cared. Both of them were ill, and happened to be in the same place at the same time. It was a good thing they both fit on the bed, with just enough room to keep their fever-sweaty bodies away from one another. While they would have been more warm if they had cuddled close, they wouldn't be able to unglue themselves from the dried sweat that would have resulted.
Finally when it seemed she too would not sleep... exhaustion took over her body and sent her into a almost comatose state.
Even when Bix rolled over, he would have been greeted by Ceres still deep asleep, for the moment at least. Her eyes closed, breathing labored and her mouth open due to her nose being stuffed and her need to breath.
Bix couldn't judge how ridiculous she looked because he was sure he looked pretty awful. He closed his eyes again and in hopes he could fall back to sleep but he'd reached that point where even though he felt like a pile of garbage, his body just refused to sleep anymore.
He lay there a while, spaced out and staring into nothing, until the tiny bit of will and awareness he had forced him to unloop the covers from around himself and lift from the bed. He did his best to get around her, sliding off the bottom of the bed. He clasped his arms and shivered, sort of crawling over the floor until he found another light blanket he could pull around his shoulders.
He felt disgusting.
Once he moved the side where he once was suddenly felt exposed. She was still under the covers, but one of her heat sources was gone. Rolling over she settled herself against the wall where he once was, crooning herself more in the blankets, and the warm spot where he once was. Still though, a shiver or two was enough to jostle her awake.
Eyes feeling heavy, her awake state was announced as she coughed deeply. The rumbling sensation hurt her chest, making her cringe. "....You alive?" She managed to mumble out, her voice hoarse with exhaustion and being well, sick. She remembered that he was there, but had not seen, nor had the energy, to actually look up to see where he crawled to.
"Yeah..." Bix's voice cracked as he clung to the blanket around his shoulders. "Couldn't sleep anymore."
He moved to the side of the bed on his knees while his head swam and debated whether he could stand yet. He felt around until his fingers found the discarded bag of snacks. He pulled out two bottles of water. They were the only ones besides soda so Bix would be leaving the room shortly. The albino cracked the first bottle and chugged it down. Oh... sweet sweet liquid.
Bix scooted forward and cracked the second bottle. "Drink this.. you have any aspirin or tylenol in here?"
