Search what you desire. It was a simple note, but it was one enough for Tseng to know what he needed to do. If he was going to become a great horseman hero, he was going to need fear. Lots of it. He needed to grow strong. And so, he gathered up his sister, then searched for his great rival, Zhiqiang as well. "Come! We shall go gather fear! You come too Zhi. My greatest rival must not be weak. Besides, I bet you can't gather all too much fear on your own anyway," he boasted while sort of dismissively waving at the other male conquest. Once gathered, he ventured towards the statue that Medea had brought them to once before. "ONWARDS! TO VICTORY!!!" he shouted while pointing to the sky and stepping through the mirror. Quote: 1- 20: You see a small child, and they stare straight up at you, recoiling in terror as they watch you manifest your Fear to a more tangible shape. You will probably give them nightmares for months on end, but you manage to get an incredible amount of Fear from it. The feeling is overwhelming. +2 Fear 21 -40: You walk around, unseen, until you see a couple by the river, moving around unassuming. You quickly manifest your Fear and show them bits and pieces of your form, what they probably see as dark shadows, a sense of terror, a fear of the unknown. They scream, holding each other, one of them tells the other you run. You can't help but feel almost intoxicated by the Fear and draw it out to the very last minute, letting the scene play out before you kill them both. +2 Fear 41 - 60: You see an elderly woman who walks around nervously. They are a prime target, and you quickly manifest your Fear and watch as they scream and scream... their death is quick and painless. +1 Fear 61 - 80: You notice that there are suddenly way too many humans milling about: humans in numbers means a less effective ability to harvest Fear from a single human. You wait your time for the crowd to thin out. 81 - 100: You sense a presence nearby, something else - another creature of Halloween perhaps. However, it does not matter as you quickly search for another target...

It was easy enough to convince the small Horseman to agree to go along - in fact Tseng didn't even have to do much talking as he just mentioned that he was going and she announced she was going to and followed. She'd been listening to her Brother's stories for long enough, it was time to witness at least one or two feats with her own eyes to make sure he wasn't exaggerating.
When Zhi was invited she just gave a small amused sounding chuckle, it was going to be one of those days. Endless banter between the two would ensue and she would somehow end up in the middle.
"Indeed," she muttered as she followed her brother with no further fanfare. Tseng made enough fanfare for the three of them.

Zhiqiang could not claim to be completely surprised by the fact that Tseng had managed to rope him along for this, but it wasn't as if he really had any complaints. While he and the male conquest horsemen were indeed rivals--and probably always would be rivals--it wasn't as if Zhiqiang really disliked him. He also felt that he got along fairly well with Yuzhi, so there was no pressure on that end either.
...Of course, just because they were rivals didn't mean they were exactly friends or anything. The horseman did not miss Tseng's implication that he was inferior to the other, though he simply took this in with his typical, blank smile. He said nothing, simply nodding dumbly and waiting for the two siblings to step through before he followed after them. The first thing Zhiqiang did once they were through?
Whip the back of Tseng's head at a distance with his sleeve.

That look always sort of creeped Tseng out. Leaning back and away from Zhiqiang, he just stepped back and grinned to his little sister.
"Here we are. In the glorious human world! Ripe for the taking. It looks as if the heroes of today's adventures find themselves in a small village. Good good. There shouldn't be too much trouble here. Perhaps they are more superstitious!"
Grinning, he whisked onward.
"Now watch how a true Hero of the Horseman works!" he boasted while making his way towards the river. He actually quieted up a bit, though the way he was sneaking was rather... theatrical. High tip toes and whatnot.
Oh look! A couple. How lovely. Stretching out, he glanced back at his comrades, then focused his FEAR to make himself more visible. The female of the couple soon shrieked and pointed at him. The male... kind of did the same, clinging to his girlfriend. They were scared. Very scared. And he could feel their fear coursing through him, empowering him.
It felt good.
They ran. And he summoned his mount to give chase, calling forth his bow, he took aim.
"REAPER'S ARROW!" he shouted while letting it fly, killing the slower of the two immediately as it struck him in the head. Tseng notched another arrow.
"TILL DEATH DO THY PART!" he added, this time shooting the girl through the heart.

Yuzhi just smiled back at her brother and shook her head at the mischief between the two horsemen. She knew they wouldn't do anything horrible to each other at least no more horrible than usual. When her sibling did his flamboyant style of harvesting she just watched and shook her head a little, "Always so showy," she said quietly to Zhi before she went on to look for her own target.
Normally she would pick someone stronger but something about the elderly woman just drew her in as she tottered about and minded her own business. Yuzhi adjusted her posture making herself seem smaller and more vulnerable as she wandered after the woman making soft sobbing sounds as she gathered up the needed FEAR to manifest her.
When the woman turned to attend to the 'poor child', Yuzhi's head snapped up and there was a sudden evil sounding hiss and whatever the woman saw on the small horseman's face as her head snapped up to stare up at the concerned lady was taken to human woman's grave for she screamed abruptly and then she 'passed'.
One Fear for Yuzhi.

Impressive. Yuzhi had done well, and even Zhiqiang had to admit that Tseng wasn't too shabby at this. Of course, being rivals, it wasn't as if he was going to let himself be outdone. Upon noticing another couple taking a stroll nearby, he shot Tsung an eerily wide grin before moving towards the pair, the expression never leaving his face.
Now, he had the..."talent" of managing to unnerve even his own kind with that creepy, unwavering smile that he usually wore. Needless to say, when the couple turned and spotted him staggering towards them with an arrow pointed right at their heads, their faces twisted into looks of terror. However, it wasn't until Zhiqiang's expression suddenly dropped into something darker and more sinister did they begin to shriek and run. One of the humans pushed the other in front of him, trying to encourage her to flee before him.
...That was kind of sweet, really, but a job was a job. Without any hesitation, the horseman lifted his bow. One arrow went soaring through the air, and it had just struck the first target when Zhiqiang let loose a second arrow.
Ahaha, he did well, didn't he? The stupid look was back on his face as he whirled around to face Yuzhi and Tseng. "Praise me!"

Tseng clapped as Yuzhi managed to scare the little old lady.
"That's my sister!" he praised, though turned to watch as Zhi went to take his turn. He just kept a fairly cool look, crossing his arms as he took out a couple himself.
"Copy cat," he huffed, not willing to praise Zhi as he requested. Strutting along, he soon frowned as there was now a crowd in the area. Apparently their doings had attracted a bit of attention. The imperial soldier just crossed his arms again.
"Now is not a good time to strike for the hero! Patience is a virtue. And thus he shall wait!" he declared.

"Such a huffy attitude, Brother, he was simply inspired by you and tried to mimic your success, such unheroic sportsmanship," In a round about way she praised both of them while scolding her brother. Yuzhi huffed in annoyance and was about to select a new target but then she paused.
She sensed something.
Plus Tseng seemed unable to act due to their antics drawing attention. Yuzhi turned and started to walk to a new area, "I think we invaded someone's hunting ground, it is time to carry on," she murmured softly as she walked off at a brisk pace.
As they were right now they were in no condition to honestly challenge anyone for the rights of territory.

...CLOSE ENOUGH. Zhi would gladly accept that as praise. The horseman shot Yuzhi a grin, while Tseng received a grin that was a hell of a lot more cocky. Hey, hey, don't blame him for the fact that he did well!
Unfortunately, it looked like they weren't having any luck right now. With all these humans around...well, it would be quite the issue if they were to kill anyone now. Furthermore, while Zhiqiang had faith in Yuzhi, Tseng (grudgingly) and his own abilities...the likelihood of them taking out all of these people was slim to none.
Keep movin'!

Yes. It seemed they were indeed in a bad spot at the moment. Tseng moved along with Yuzhi and Zhi until they were in a better location, and sure enough, he spotted another couple not too far off. "Aaaaah, young love. It is in the air! But, it is missing the notable taste of fear!" he said dramatically while putting a hand to his chest and swaying about. This hero was going to fix that little problem. Making his way towards the pair, he walked around them for just a moment before calling on his fear to reveal himself to them. The sudden appearance startled the two and so they screamed and began to run. But, Tseng quickly shoved them both into the shallow stream nearby. "The Kelpie's lure!" he shouted before sitting on the backs of one of them and holding the head down of the other. Yes. He was going to drown these two. And before too long, their flailing and struggling stopped. Fear: 4

She gave her brother praise in form of a clap of her hands it was a quiet - a golf clap really - sort of sound so as not to alert anyone in the area. When it was her turn again the only 'straggler' she saw was an elderly gentleman tottering about and muttering something about 'The War' this and 'The War' that and 'We chased them straight to Hell...'
Yuzhi made a bit of a sulking face but a target was a target she moved up to them and suddenly manifested before them as her form suddenly seemed to grow making her seem more menacing, "DIE," she commanded in a screeching voice.
The old man suddenly seemed to have a flashback to 'The War' and clutched his chest and he was gone. Score some Fear for Yuzhi as she meandered back, "...Not as challenging but still works," she huffed. Fear: 2

The siblings were both doing quite well, he had to admit. Of course, while he would clap for Yuzhi, the horseman was slightly more hesitant to do so for Tseng. After all, they were rivals, and so the man was determined not to lose to him no matter what it took.
But first, he had to find a new target! His head whipped back and forth as he searched for a suitable target among the humans, his gaze immediately zoning in on a small child who was playing alone in the shade of a tree. Lips splitting into a wide grin, Zhiqiang shot Tseng a look--a "watch how it's done" look--before creeping over and ducking behind the tree. He peeked out from around it to ensure that the child was still there, and then took a deep breath.
Considering his stature, Zhiqiang would already be seen as quite an intimidating figure to a small child. However, he decided to push it up a notch by using his fear, letting shadowy tendrils curl around him and form eerie, hand-like appendages.
Then he put on a slasher face and cleared his throat.
There was a brief moment of silence when the child turned to look at him, but it was then broken by a shrill shriek as the poor thing pushed himself up to his feet and tried to scramble away. Zhiqiang followed close behind, his fear-formed hands reaching out as if attempting to grab the little boy. Honestly, the horseman had no intention of killing the kid--he just wanted to milk as much fear from him as he could. However, once the child began to flee into a more densely populated area, the conquest horseman was forced to retreat back to where Tseng and Yuzhi were.
Despite his appearance, apparently Zhiqiang wasn't quite as bad as this as one would expect. His method was pretty much:

"Still excellent work my dear little Yuyu!" cheered Tseng as she managed to take down another elderly human. The humans didn't need their old people anyway, right? Turning, he saw his rival went on after a child, managing to get a decent amount of fear from it. "Not bad. Seeing how scaring little children is all too easy!" he taunted. "I feel as though we may be outstaying our welcome here. We best return before we cause too much of a stir."
