I've been thinking. Who is this SHAFT (or who are they?) and why did they decide to create a remake of an Anime already in existance? Don't most remakers wait years before a remake of something popular is actually remade? Look at Dirty Pair, Sonic The Hedgehog & Megaman, those didn't take a short amount of time to be remade. In fact it has tooken around a decade for those certain anime's to be revived. I know this isn't related to Anime or Manga but how many Superman and Pink Panther movies have been made in the recent years and decades?
It's been one year or less since the original Anime by XEBEC was completed. A year later this SHAFT and their crew has decided to give fans hope.
What do i think? I think SHAFT straight up said "XEBEC, you did a very poor job on Negima. Dumbasses" xd
It's like SHAFT actually had the balls to critisize someone elses bad job and decided to take over. I envy that considering i had no hopes of ever seeing a new Negima Anime series created.
Just wondering who SHAFT is besides the fact that they made some other Anime i never heard of. How was this possible? What due's had to be paid for SHAFT to do such moves?
I'm feeding off the information posted in the guild recently just incase you are wondering what makes me ask such questions because i'm sure a few of you also wonder about these things.

It's not a remake. From what I've heard, I'm imaging two one-episode specials. As for SHAFT, they did Pani Poni Dash, which I've heard good things about.

Okay i heard that also. I've heard that and this so now it leaves me no choice but to be patient and wait to see what actually does happen. Regardless of what is gonna be done, all i want is some Negima Anime. Decent, crispy and good.

Apprantely, a new Negima series (they don't call it a new "season" because it's not being made by the same company anymore) has been confirmed. The production will be a collaboration between Gainax and Shaft. The director will be Shinbou Akiyuki, the same person who directed Poni Poni Dash! as well as the Spring Edition of the Negima OVA. This "second season" is going to be part of the Fall season new anime lineup.

That's just advertisement. It's like releasing a new soft drink....with pictures of Surge (former soft drink) available but no one has actually witnessed the taste. neutral
But with that evidence i can already imagine what it would look like when it's actually animated.
Reminds me of some old early 90's releases........in fact it somewhat reminds me of the first version of Dirty Pair. neutral
Now then, back to watching He is my master. I never thought i'd be as far as episode...........3. biggrin

Like I said on the ANN boards: (SHAFT + GAINAX)Negima = Negima Genesis Evangeline?
And I'm glad they released some photos from the Negima premier event. Looks like they wore some of the same things from Dai Mahorasai. And they also have a picture of Chao's new seiyuu. [We'll miss you, Chiaki-san! Koi no Menseki just won't be the same without you!]

NGE wasn't that great. And I think due to vast plot disimilarities that's not the best analogy. I'd be looking for something more along the lines of Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase, although I don't believe that has any Gainax involvement.

New Negima images about the Negima OVA have been released from ch. 141:  Looks pretty good to me. Though Natsumi's hair is sorta jade. And Sakurako's hair is gold. confused Everyone looks pretty cool, nevertheless.

im speechless. i dont know what to say. i kind of dont like the new animation on the OVA. and i am not impressed by those screenshots. this gives me the feeling not to watch it. and i hate the fact that GAINAX is doing the second season. i dont know why. (its probably because i hate FLCL.)
I wish i could say more, but I'll just stop, because its bad.
