Prissy about it? Prissy about it? She was one of the ones who offered to hand over her shards! She'd done what he asked! Fine, if the others wanted to stay, these minis could make them stay, but why should she have to as well?! The Reaper-turned-Usagihime was about ready to throw her own temper tantrum, when the pony mini stepped forward. Something about it sounded ominous, but Mitzi still felt fighting for her freedom was preferable to being stuck this way forever. She wanted to go home, jackdamnit. Of course, when a figure appeared before her, like some sort of twisted mirror image, and she realized this was what she had to fight... Nope, scratch that, the ghoul was still pretty angry. "What the jack?!" The other mini ran at her, and all she did was push it back. "What's going on? The shards... she had given them up. This other version of herself had handed them over. How could she have done that?! Clearly there was something wrong with her, she didn't understand, it must be because she was wrong, broken. No, of course, she wasn't the real Mitzi, and just like all the others she was rejecting the shards, rejecting their power. The shadowy copy that had appeared - convinced that she was the real ghoul, and maybe she was right? - ran at the Usagihime again, this time managing a slight blow. She was determined to take down this other version of herself, who couldn't or wouldn't hear the shards' song. The distorted Usagihime seemed to pull herself together after the last blow, something about the dark, twisted aura around her swirling and growing in strength. She replied with a strike of her own, causing Mitzi to cry out in pain. "You don't get it, do you? Why would you even want to leave, when the shards are here? A little shocked at the response, Mitzi paused for a moment. "The shards? Why should you want me to hang onto them? I thought this was because other people wouldn't give them up!" The other mini didn't make any sense, so she struck again, but a little less of her heart was in it this time. The ghoul's questions only made her distorted mirror angrier. "You're just like the rest of them! We need the shards! We're nothing without them!" This other Usagihime, if she wouldn't follow the shards, was useless, and the distorted version attacked, using her rage to give it power. She smacked the other Mitzi so hard that the Usagihime fell backwards, collapsing to the ground. "Yes!" hissed the dark Mitzi, as with one more blow, she managed to destroy the Usagihime on the ground, but even as she did... suddenly everything was clear. She understood, both why she had wanted the shards so badly, and why the other version of herself had fought against them. Some sort of vision played out before her, and although she didn't understand what was going on, it seemed eerily similar to the battle she had just had with herself. And then... And then she was returning home, she realized with relief, as she saw her room rematerializing around her, almost as if she was waking from a dream...
