Boss Battle THE FINAL DEPARTURE: gaia_crown [ Solo Boss Types ]: - IF you are under the effect of the shards the boss will look like your normal (minipet) self. There is something about them however, something imperfect and flawed, the way they look at you, the way they move, they way they don't understand, just like the others. They call to you, telling you you have totally lost it and to wake up. Deep down inside, you despise them for not following you. Don't they understand how much you simply want to be complete, that these shards are yours and only yours? - IF you are not under the effect of the shards the boss will look like your (minipet) self only distorted. A thick miasma radiates around them, confusing you as they strike out with anger. They feel as if you have rejected them, why will you not listen to the shards their song, belong with them, seek their power. They call out at you, tell you you have become weak. You don't understand, all you want to do is get out of here! gaia_crown [ Solo Boss Mechanics ]: - Your boss has THE EXACT same HP as you: you BOTH have 20/20 HP. - BONUS MECHANICS: For each SHARD you have/claimed, take 2 HP off from your HP and the Boss. For each KEY you have/claimed, add 1 attack onto your final attack power AND THE BOSS'S. - The boss has THE EXACT same element as you. That means if you are light type then yes, you do to 2x damage to each other. Special attacks ARE allowed. - HOWEVER, you are rping as YOURSELF and THE BOSS. - That means posts will go like this: Your post/ boss post/ your post/ boss post/ etc until one of you passes out. - This means you are also posting the attacks for BOTH. Yes, it means you are attacking as yourself and then the BOSS. - Example posting: I post for myself first, whatever status effect I'm under (either pro shard or con shard) and then post my dice rolls/ attack choice as I attack the boss. I rp out this post. I then post for the boss rolling my dice rolls/ attack choice and then the boss's HP value. I RP out this post. Tldr you are battling with yourself. gaia_crown [ Conclusions ]: - At the very end there is one victor: who is it? You or the boss? It actually does not matter as the second you destroy the other side, as they disappear, everything seems normal again, and finally understand: the strange calling feeling, the pull of the shards was to warn you. Those who use its power also accept the price: this time was not nearly as dire as the other times will be. You see flashes of something, colour light. A scene playing out at a forest, close to a lake, an aged battle between two powerful forces, one armed with a staff and the other with a glowing, resonating sword. You feel their power and then their hatred. Light and darkness. Consuming each other until the end. - At this point all status effects wear off. You feel the metaphorical tunnel at the end of the road before you see it, a simple burst of colour. It is time to finally return home. - After the conclusion ALL HORSEMEN RETURN BACK TO THEIR HOME BASE. All Amityville characters return to WHEREVER they last left off (including the underground locker rooms if they were whisked there). All Hunters return back to the Island. A strange quiet atmosphere pervades. Where do they go from here?

Diana growled and shook her head as the Pink minipet finished talking and everything faded. She knew that she had been swept away again and was not happy about this in the least and then, once she got her bearings again she felt it. The amount of fear in this new place swelled into the for of herself, however.. This form of herself was, flawed. It seemed to be as if it was missing something and almost as if it was wanting her shards.
Well, Diana was not going to let this impersonator of herself get her shards. Didn't the fake understand she was just trying to complete herself? She growled at the fake and then running toward it attacked with flaming claws. While the fake Diana could feel the hatred and malice coming off her counterpart, She also knew that this was very needed. After all, she needed to get her counterpart to return the shards. So when the real Diana struck at her, the Fake Diana didn't try to dodge the angry strike, instead taking the full brunt of the flaming attack. Then she herself spun and dodged behind the other and attacked from behind using the flames to also cause burn damage to the very real version of herself. Diana's eyes widened as the fake took her attack before dodging behind her to deliver her own. She whimpered as she fell forward onto the ground and skidded a few feet. With a growl she climbed back to her feet and turned back around at the taunting look of the fake. Diana was very angry and wanted to get rid of this intruder once and for all and so launched herself at the mirror image of herself once again, her claws flaming. There was no way this thing was getting her beloved shards. They were the only ones she felt she could trust after all.Quote: Name: Diana Maximillian Lee Faction: Avarice Demon Student HP: 30/30 21/30 Element: Fire Special Attack: 1d6 extra burn damage for 2 rounds Fragments: 1 (-2HP) Keys: Silver, glass, and gold. This time the fake attempted to dodge the flaming claws but still seemed to get clipped pretty good by her counterpart. Why couldn't the stubborn girl get it through her head that she needed to give those shards up? The minipet fake gave a sigh before her eyes hardened. It seemed that only a true battle between them would get through to her counterpart. The fake then flamed up her own claws and attacked the student once again, no longer showing any pity towards her counterpart.Quote: Name: Diana Maximillian Lee BOSSSSSSS Faction: Avarice Demon StudentHP: 30/30 17/30 Element: Fire Special Attack: 1d6 extra burn damage for 2 rounds Fragments: 1 (-2HP) Keys: Silver, glass, and gold. Diana's eyes widened as she attempted to dodge her counterpart's counter attack but to no avail as she was hit fully in her side by the flaming claws. ~That hurt~ She thought as she growled and shakily stood back up and faced her opponent. ~How DARE she burn my fur!~ The student turned minipet thought angrily as she readied her own claws and launched herself back at the fake in front of her, the smell of burned fur fully in her nose as she attacked.Quote: Name: Diana Maximillian Lee Faction: Avarice Demon Student HP: 30/30 13/30 Element: Fire Special Attack: 1d6 extra burn damage for 2 roundsFragments: 1 (-2HP) Keys: Silver, glass, and gold. Diana's counterpart took the hit and then bit the hotheaded girl on the neck and threw her off herself. "Come now Diana, surely you can do better than that?" The fake taunted as she ran back at the girl and attacked again.Quote: Name: Diana Maximillian Lee BOSSSSSSS Faction: Avarice Demon StudentHP: 30/30 12/30 Element: Fire Special Attack: 1d6 extra burn damage for 2 roundsFragments: 1 (-2HP) Keys: Silver, glass, and gold. Diana couldn't help the yelp that came out of her mouth as she was thrown off her counterpart and then scratched again. And then as if that wasn't bad enough the fake taunted her. Her eyes flashed in anger and she somehow pulled herself back to her feet and attacked again. "You will regret that! She yelled back as her claws hit.Quote: Name: Diana Maximillian Lee Faction: Avarice Demon Student HP: 30/30 9/30 Element: Fire Special Attack: 1d6 extra burn damage for 2 roundsFragments: 1 (-2HP) Keys: Silver, glass, and gold. Diana's counterpart had expected the attack and managed to dodge the brunt of it but still she skidded back a few paces. She had a feeling that making the girl mad would end up helping her and she seemed to think that she was right. "Oh really? I'm not as of yet. Perhaps it is I not you that is the real one here?" Diana flew back from the counterparts latest attack. "Even IF you beat me, I will always Be the first!" She yelled back as she struggled to find her feet again. She knew she had to win, for the shards as well as for herself. Once she made it to her feet she gave a clumsy attack back at the fake in one last effort to shut the fake up.Quote: Name: Diana Maximillian Lee Faction: Avarice Demon Student HP: 30/30 2/30 Element: Fire Special Attack: 1d6 extra burn damage for 2 roundsFragments: 1 (-2HP) Keys: Silver, glass, and gold. Diana's counterpart knew that she had the real once beat at this point and allowed the final attack of her real self to hit as she went down to her knees from it. "It does not matter. As I have already won and now you will understand." The fake said in a calm but strained voice as she attacked the real Diana one last time.Quote: Name: Diana Maximillian Lee BOSSSSSSS Faction: Avarice Demon StudentHP: 30/30 3/30 Element: Fire Special Attack: 1d6 extra burn damage for 2 roundsFragments: 1 (-2HP) Keys: Silver, glass, and gold. Diana whimpered as she felt herself pass out. The scene changed at that point as the fake smiled softly before disappearing and letting her counterpart wake once more.
But this time when she wakes Diana notices that she feels normal again. It was at this point when she realized that she was herself once more and that the fragment she had collected had been trying to warn her. She now knew that she wasn't alone save the shards, nor was everyone she knew going to betray her. She also knew the real thing the fragment had been trying to tell her, with great power comes great responsibility.... and sacrifice. There was a price to using the shards and she was just learning that.
Then a scene started playing itself out in her mind, as if it was a memory she barely had a grasp on. The quiet forest setting being disturbed as two figures battled it out, sword vrs staff, both seeming from another time as they fight using all their strength. The power coming from the two had her shivering, and then she felt it, the hatred the two had for each other. It was as if light and darkness were trying to devourer each other but neither could beat the other. It felt as if the two would never finish this battle, or if they did there would be no winner because they would just consume each other at the same time. After the scene clears from her mind Diana feels like she is rushing towards the end of a tunnel, and then she sees it in a bright flash of colors.
She then found herself back in her dorm, where she had been studying before this whole thing started. But, she couldn't quite grasp what had just happened. Did she nod off or something? And why could she not quite remember the so called dream?
