Background Info
The Suna U~ōkā Clan was once a prominent clan that rules a section of the Land of Wind. They lived in the deserts all around the country and would serve as protectors for the nation. However, some of the families in this massive clan began to have different views about how they should conduct operations. With the amount of power each family had, they could easily extort the country for money in exchange for protection. That is exactly what they did. Three of the families banded together. They were the Nekohime, a family that was very interested in the workings of cats and could use more illusory techniques, the Naga, a family that was made for assassination, as they had the ability to use poisons and were known for being in touch with the ways of a snake, and the Chōgenbō, a clan with the ability to take on the aspects of an avian and fight with powerful ninjutsu mixed with great cunning.

The three families would begin to tax the people of the nation and would rob from travelers who did not pay tolls. The head family would not stand for this. Being the most powerful at the time and having the most members, the Suna U~ōkā family would use their abilities over the sandy terrain to dominate all of the other families. However, most of the family would be slaughtered as they forced the other three families out of the country. The three families would then take residence in the Land of Fire, Land of Earth, and the Land of Lightning.
