Nice!! My best friend Ruth lives in Washington. I really miss her a lot. She moved when we were in 3rd grade, but we still keep in touch.

That's awesome! What's even more amazing is that you are not far from where my dad was born in Neuss! I was in Germany last summer, but I was never in Duisburg to the best of my knowledge. I was in Dusseldorf, Hilden, Neuess, Koln, Wuppertal, and a few other places.

We had some rain today, but it was short lived and not enough. It's been in the 90's for the past month and really humid. Ugh. I hate summers like this because it's too hot. I like hot like in the 80's, but upper 90's is like kill me now! I feel bad or the farmers. This drought of a sort is not good at all.
