He'd always wondered what it would be like to meet himself, but now he wasn't so sure. And really - did this even count?
Senga scrutinized the minipet almost identical apart from the distortion to him, shaking out his pelt as though to seem larger, better. After all, it had to be an imitation. A copy of some sort. His tail flicked back and forth in agitation, and he growled at it, ears flattening to his head. Imitation or something else entirely, it had no business looking like that, and the miasma around it seemed thick enough to drown in.
Catching purchase, the little wolf lunged at the distorted twin, planning to pin him and demand answers; why are you here, why do you look like that, WHAT DO YOU WANT?
He was tired and all he wanted to do was go home. This impostor was in the way.Menu > Stats  Senga : War ClanFaction: Horsemen.

"You betrayed us." It said suddenly, when they hit the ground. Senga's full weight was pressing into his chest, snout close and fangs bared, and all it could say was "you betrayed us all, you betrayed us - betrayer." in a hurt, blank tone. And then it got angry.
"Why?!"
It lunged forward, teeth clamping down wherever it could find skin, a solid, spiteful growl deep in its throat.

The words stung, but the anger was bitter and cold.
Senga snapped his jaws back at the wolf, tearing himself away from the others teeth and reeling back, lips pulled back over thick, curved fangs. Two could play at this game. This impostor had no right to question him! His paws slammed back down on the creatures chest, and he snapped his teeth at anything he could find; ears, throat, snout, eyes. It was a flurry of movement, a desperate search for purchase and leverage over something with the same exact body.
Throwing his head back, Senga glowered down at the imitation clone, his maw wide open and his ears pinned beneath the fur and antlers against his head.
"You know what? <******** you." He growled at it angrily, tail lashing back and forth. "I didn't betray you. I didn't betray any of you."
He snapped his teeth again, claws digging into the fur pelt the imitation wore.
"So get off your high horse and go away so I can go home." Menu > Stats Senga : War ClanFaction: Horsemen.

Fluid, the imitation's tone suddenly changed to a freezing hiss, reminiscent of Senga's own voice, Senga's own anger. "Home?" It started laughing, quiet, and then manically. "Home? You honestly think you want to go home? You've forgotten what matters! You've forgotten that we come first." It rolled them over and raised a paw, but instead of swiping at him, it shoved its claws over Senga's weaker eye, scratching into the eyelid and the iris and making Senga howl.
"And anyways, haven't you already betrayed your home enough?" It's mouth split open to reveal fangs. "Come back to us and we might forgive you. Go home to them, and you will always be a black sheep." Menu > Stats Solo BossElement: Grass.

Senga snarled, ripping his head away from the invasive claw and digging his own into the warm pelt, pushing and biting and snapping his jaws until he found another position that gave him the advantage. "Don't you dare presume to tell me who and who might not forgive me." He snapped, even though the voices in the back of his head jeered otherwise; for once they were overshadowed by his indignant anger, his blind fury at the insinuation that this impostor was making towards him.
"I have people I need to get back to," He snapped, "I have people that I need to protect, whether they forgive me or not, so get out of my way." Menu > Stats Senga : War ClanFaction: Horsemen.

The imitation seemed displeased at this, sneering at the words. "Protect, you? Yeah right." Was all it returned before its teeth sunk into the side of Senga's pelt, ripping him off and throwing him to the ground. It padded over as the other recovered, snapping its teeth haughtily at the temporarily downed mini with a low, throaty growl.
"You're missing the big picture." It said, cold and calculating now, pressing a paw into Senga's ribcage and applying pressure. "You're missing the things you could have if you just forgot about going home."
This was all the prompting Senga needed to turn his head and sink his teeth into the paw, fury draining out the last of his self-control.Menu > Stats Solo BossElement: Grass.

It wasn't long until they dissolved into a struggle of power, words lost to the potency of winning. Senga caught the other with his teeth, grazing the thick pelt and sinking his teeth in wherever he could find soft, sensitive flesh. But he was getting tired, and this was going in circles, and what would he do if he won anyways? Would this even take him home? The thought of his Clan kept him going, the thought of people important to him kept him from laying down and baring his throat for the kill shot.
He had something to fight for, and that was enough to differentiate himself from this imitation that spoke so much like him. That was enough.Menu > Stats Senga : War ClanFaction: Horsemen.

The imitation was perplexed; their argument had ceased under the rain of claws and teeth and angry, howling bites, but still he hadn't been able to convince the other. There was so much more. Why couldn't he understand it? The impostor growled. Oh well, when words failed to work, physical force usually did the trick.Menu > Stats Solo BossElement: Grass.

They seemed to be going in circles, stuck in a stalemate and waiting for it to somehow break.

Senga was getting really tired of this.
He never realized just how tiring being a minipet could be, after all.
Gathering the last of his strength - it was more difficult than he'd thought - the Sirius Star lunged, knocking them both over and landing his teeth right against the imitations throat. His growl vibrated low, and the minipet began to say something, but he was too tired to listen. He clamped down, and then everything was a white hot blur of light.
Was it over?
His eyes closed, and suddenly everything felt normal again, and his body felt heavy, and he was suddenly so, so sleepy.
But he was going home, he had to be, and that was enough to satisfy him for now.
