tab I suppose being brought up in the conditions that I was in has hardened my personality. I've seen the harsh realities of life that most people haven't. It put a big wall up between me and other people I meet, making me more reserved. I find it entirely hard to let myself get close to someone, because there is always that all too real possibility of them leave.

Of course, that doesn't mean I'm not a nice person. Like any person I have my moments, mainly because I'm very blunt and most people don't like hearing what I have to say...and I suppose it doesn't help that I'm very hot headed. All that aside, I can be friendly, especially to those of the fairer sex.

tab I was born to the town of Eldorado, named after the famous city of gold...let me tell you, that it is not the case. It is a farming community and that is exactly where my family fell in. I was the first born child to my parents, who were newly weds when they had me. After me seven more children followed - six girls and one other boy. Not exactly what my father had in mind, but it happened.

Times were hard in the house. My father worked at one of the orange farms and my mother worked at one of hotels in towns. That left me and my oldest sister, Georgina, to take care of the house and all the kids. Doing odd jobs around the community, I brought in some money to help, but that doesn't mean that there were many nights where we hungry. We made it with what we had. While doing some yard work at one of the hotels, I met a woman around my own age, Victoria.

Victoria was from Europe, as the town I lived in was a very popular tourist area. Huge water falls and surrounding forests caught the natural beauty of the world that many paid to see. Her family had come and was staying the summer in Misiones. When I was younger I would play with children from all cultures, which taught me English and I quickly picked up on the basics of other languages. When I met Victoria, she seemed to refine my English and by the summers end I was head over heals for her. It was the first time I had ever felt such feelings for a woman. Of course, like most men my age I had my casual flings with random girls in town, but there was something different about Victoria.

When I was eighteen I moved out of my parent's home to live on my own. I was working at the orange farms with my father. I had married Victoria and she stayed with me, despite her parent's protests. For that action, she was disowned from her family. We were married for four years before things started falling apart. We had one child, a girl named Alexandra, but after that Victoria was unable to conceive anymore children. Rough times and the fighting that later ensued seemed to break our marriage apart. One morning I woe up and the bed was empty and all her and Alexandra's things were gone.

After that I had a rough time getting a grip on my life. It's hard to change after you've become so used to people being there. I got the divorce papers and things were official. We were over. I went back to my daily life of work and just try to keep my head above water.
