Amphi breathed in as she left her room, the book Roch gave her clutched tightly to her chest as she looked around suspiciously. When there was no one in sight, she took of in the monster dorms to find the one named Nahm...or Ahm. Mostly Nahm because she remember Roch saying his name once.

It was hard to find someone she didn't even know but...she was dedicated and determined. Especially now that she was...Roch's...ghoulfriend, oh jack. She flushed, a small race of happiness raced through her.

She stood awkwardly in the middle of the guy Monster dorms, staring off into distance as she thought of the reaper. Okay zone back in! She was on a mission!

Reading the room numbers, she stopped at the one that had Nahm listed at...and knocked tentatively.

"If that's you, Roch, I keep telling you, I don't have your copy of Playghoul," Nahm yelled from inside the room. "But you can come in anyway. Ain't locked and I'm probably decent."

Amphi's earfins twitched with the yell, oddly hearing the boil clearly before clearing her throat and opening the door.

"Um...I'm not Roch...I'm his ghoulfriend Amphi...Are you Nahm? or Ahm?" Or even the right person at all?

Nahm sat up from where he was sprawled lazily on his bed, looking the ghoul over with interest. "Damn," he said, sounding impressed. "How'd he score a ghoul as hot as you? I mean, Roch.." His grin glinted in the shadow of his hood. "Yeah, I'm Nahm. Nice to meet you. Really nice."

"ah I'm sorry I don't mean to interrupt you while you rest..." She shifted nervously and flushed. Oh jack she was just going to be in some strangers room asking about even stranger things....Just buck up Amphi. you can't get anywhere by shying away!

"Ah well...Roch..um..he...sang to me...." She flushed brightly and looked away and to a certain corner of ceiling. A mermaid being entranced by a singer...yeah that was one for the books. "It's nice to meet you too Nahm.."

But after all that, she did have the right room and let a relieved sigh out. Her smile turned to him again and she worked the embarassment to dissipate so she could ask her questions. Mostly, her face was still a bright shade of red.

"Um, Roch gave me this book here..." She flushed as she held it up, the same book the twins had given the punk boil, "and I was wondering if you could...help me understand some of the things....or something."

yes it was a start.

"No big deal," Nahm said. "Wasn't doing anything important." He slid off the bed and ambled over to flick on the small nightlight the grues kept for the comfort of visitors without night-vision.

"Happy to provide explanations," he added, his grin widening and getting even glintier, if that was possible. "Grab a seat on the couch, raid the minifridge if you want, there's some Choke-a-Cola and Spite. Avoid the beanbag, that belongs to Mr Snappy and he doesn't like anyone messing with it."
