Story
It was just a normal Monday for everyone around the world as they woke up and went about their lives. That was before it showed up. The world’s population vanished in a single second, one minute they were there then the next gone. A small group of people were left behind, and no one knows what happened to the others or why they were left behind. The building stand empty, cars have crashed into each other and into walls as their drives vanished, and the animals have disappeared. Leaving the world completely empty, or is it? After a few days after a bright beam of light shines up into the sky. What is this light and what does it mean is two question that have to be answered, and in finding those answers can the world return to the way it was?

Name (First and last): Seth Blackmore Gender: Male Age: 22 Personality: quiet, keeps to himself, think things through. Skills (try to kept it somewhat realistic): Knows some about technology but not much. Good at driving, an okay shot. Hobbies: He would spend long hours playing video games, and sometimes reading a book. Theme Song (optional): Story (tell where and what you were doing when everyone vanished): He was just walking around in a store, just killing time. Then everyone vanished and he stood frozen for a few minutes as he tried to think of what to do. He rushed outside and saw nothing that would tell him of anything of what happened other than there were cars crashing and fires burning, but not a soul in sight. He stayed at his house for a few days trying to think of what to do. He set off with an atlas and hoped to find people or at least find that it wasn’t just him left alone in the world.

Name: Aspen Leyati Gender: Female Age: 19 Personality: Despite her rough-and-tough appearance, she's really sweet and kinda innocent. She's also fiercely protective of those she counts as her friends. Skills: Woodworking, some martial arts Hobbies: Reading, building things with her dad Theme Song: Story: Aspen was working on building a tree house for her little brother. She was holding up one end of a plank to steady it while her father held the other end and pulled it up into the tree. Then her father suddenly wasn't there anymore, and the plank fell from its perch on the tree branch where he'd been and hit Aspen in the head. When she woke a little while later, she ran into the house to tell her mother what had happened and found the house empty and a couple grilled cheese sandwiches that were supposed to have been their lunch burning on the stove, as if her mother had just dropped what she was doing and left. Her brother and their pet German Shepherd had disappeared as well, and there was no one else in the neighbourhood. Completely freaked out by this, she packed up everything she could think of and left to look for anyone else who might still be left--she couldn't be the last person on earth.

(I am going ahead and starting it.) Seth was traveling down some road that he done forget the number. His old truck hummed along quietly as he drove. His main bag of supplies was sitting on the seat next to him. He had some food, clothes and a few important tools. A rifle was up in the gun rack behind his head, it was his dad's hunting rifle. A small pistol was sitting next to the bag. He could do alright with them, but he hoped there wouldn't be need to use them. He looked up at the darken clouds and thought that it would be raining soon. He weaved through the cars as he made his way to the next city.

Aspen weaved in her lane, almost hitting a car in the next one over. She winced, waving apologetically at the driver she'd almost sideswiped, and pulled her pickup over onto the shoulder. She turned on the emergency flashers as she moved onto the shoulder, then turned them off and turned off her truck's engine, leaning back against the headrest with a hand to her brow. Glancing in the rearview mirror, she saw that the gauze beside her hand was stained red. She was going to have to find a clinic that still had doctors and nurses and get herself patched up for real. Probably need stitches, she thought, grimacing and groaning at the throbbing in her skull.

Sara was heading north on her dirt bike with three bags strapped down to the bike. Her handgun and knife on her thighs in their holsters. She was ready to get out there and find answers. Looking at the sky as clouds rolled in, it felt and smelt like rain which she loved.

Seth pulled up to the hotel in the town that he drove to. He grabbed his bag and both the pistol and rifle and went inside the hotel lobby. He glanced around and saw the place looked as it should. He moved around the desk and grabbed the keys to a room. He started to head to the towards the stairs.

Sara pulled off into a town to look for somewhere to stay, she spotted a hotel with a truck in front of it. Slowly she rode her dirt bike over to park it beside the truck. Getting of the bike she grabbed her bags and looked over the truck finding out that it was driven not to long ago. Sara ran inside as the rain started to pour to protect her other guns and ammo. She smiled to herself with hope that there was someone here.

After a few minutes resting at the side of the road, Aspen drove to the nearest exit and into the town. She drove around for a while, looking for a clinic or somewhere there might be someone who could help her. As it was, most of the place looked deserted. She passed a hotel with a truck and a dirtbike parked in front of it, but that wasn't what she was looking for at the moment.

As Seth made it to the top of the stairs he heard the door open. He turned around and hope lifted his mood, before the thought that they might be armed hit him. He sat his bag on the top of the stairs and his rifle with it. He cupped his hands behind his back with one hand holding the pistol. He slowly walked down a few steps, knowing that they would see him before he saw them.

"So I'm not alone..."Sara said hopefully as she looked at the guy coming down the stairs. "You can put your gun down there is no need for it. I'm very nice." She added noticing his hands behind his back.

Seth nodded his head before saying "Nor am I alone." As for the last part that she said he shrugged his shoulders before saying "Best to be careful." As he walked down the stairs to the ground floor.

Sara looked at him then to the keys behind the counter as she leaned over it to retrieve a set. "Isn't that what we all say now?" She asked as she turned back to him.

Aspen pulled up by a clinic. It looked like it was deserted. Figures. She couldn'tbe the last person on earth. She knew that 'cause she'd almost hit someone else who'd been driving and got off at the same freeway exit. She sighed and went looking for gauze and medical tape. Might as well stock up. And she needed to change the gauze on her forehead anyway. God, she hoped there might be someone left who could sew; stitch her up. She stocked up and headed back to the hotel she'd passed on the way to the clinic. If she was lucky, maybe the truck and bike still had people--living people--attached to them.
