1634 hours. The captain was taking an evening stroll across the ship. She was completely fascinated. Chanda was amazed that she had gotten this post, DS3 was beginning to see a new day. She got to dawn a new light unto this dark sentinel. Chanda made her way towards the turbo-lift, not in a hurried manner but a simple, casual stroll. She stepped forward; the grey, monotonous doors slid open making a slight whoosh as they swept the floor. "Deck Two," Chanda stated. Chanda made her way down the corridor until she stood in front of the infirmary. She released a deep sigh. "It's now or never." Chanda wasn't afraid of doctors, she just thought their picking and prodding was a bit excessive. She entered the Sickbay noticing a few nurses working, and an lieutenant hunched over a cart messing with a PADD.

Mitsu sighed as she finished taking inventory of supplies in sickbay. Everything seemed to be in place, so se decided to check what other tasks Awaited for her on her PADD. She glanced down and nearly dropped her device. She knew that the senior medical officer assigned her the captain's physical but she didn't think he was serious. Mitsu groaned slightly. That's what she gets for correcting a senior medical officer in front of his staff. The leutinent smiled though, considering it wasn't everyday that she got to do one of the superior's physicals. She gathered the things that were needed for a physical and proceeded to sickbay. Captain Chanda? I'm Lt. Mitsu and I will be conducting your physical today.

"The one and only. Hello, Mitsu. Let's get this over and done with." Chanda sat up on top of the bio-bed, she smiled at the lieutenant. She noted the slight groan, debating whether or not if it was displeasure or disgust. Chanda did know one thing, it had nothing to do with her. A great quality of any captain is the ability to read faces. It seemed as though this physical was a punishment. The captain sat awaiting her physical. "I don't bite."

Mitsu glanced at Chanda nervously. "I know that!" she said out of a reflex. The leutinent gasped at what she had said to the captain. "Apologies, maam! It won't happen again! " she said with a slightly embarrassed tone. That's exactly what got her into this. Mitsu glanced down at her PADD to see what needed to be done. "Right, so this your physical..." she said. The girl studied the captain to see if she might have gotten herself into more trouble.

(( I'm just super addicted to this storyline, I've been thinking of plots and characters and all sorts of things for weeks! I actually have a twist for our 1v1 -- One Word. Holodeck.))
"At ease, Lieutenant. A simple physical, no biggie. Breathe." Chanda had somewhat forgotten how the presence a captain has. Everyone doesn't act as calm and cool like her. She figured Mitsu was nervous, Chanda then began to wonder why she was doing her physical and not the Chief Medical Officer. She figured it was a sore topic so she avoids it all together. Chanda decides to calm the nurse with a little, small talk. "How'd you end up on DS3?"

Emi relaxed slightly as she began to carry out the physical. Even though she was focused on her task, she took time to answer the captain's question. "I requested a transfer from the USS Centauri. I just wanted some more excitement...I guess." she said as she checked her PADD again. "The Centarui....didn't really have action."

Chanda was easing the tension a bit. She knew had transferred but for excitement. Chanda was afraid that would be hard to find on DS3, space stations weren't the most exciting of environments. "Excitement, eh? You should try one of my holo-novels. You'd have a blast!"

Mitsu raised an eyebrow as she continued the task at hand. It was obvious that the young girl was curious about this suggestion. Really...? What are they about?" Mitsu asked trying to contain all her excitement. It wasn't often that a Captain made a friendly suggestion to her.

Success! Mitsu was finally warming up to Chanda, and she was making a good first impression or she at least hoped she was. Chanda smiled. She then began her lovely rant on her holo-novels she was so proud of. "Jackson Jonas: Small Town Adventurer. A program, I construsted while I was aboard..." Chanda clears her throat. She didn't want her past with Section 31, so she quickly adds in false information. Jubilee, the USS Jubilee. "Pardon me, when I was aboard the USS Jubilee."

Mitsu glanced at the captain more curiously. "If you don't mind me asking, what's the program about?" she asked as she ran her hand through her hair. She raised an eyebrow at the information about the USS Jubilee, she never heard about that ship before...maybe it was a new model?

Chanda smiled. She was surprised, she never really talked much about her adventures as Jackson. I guess she believed she could find a new friend in Mitsu. Was it her heart-warming smile, or generally trusting demeanor that made you want to tell her your darkest and most personal secrets. Chanda's excitement made her completely miss Mitsu's reaction to the Jubilee comment.
"The story follows the main character, Jackson Jonas, also known as Jax. She's a college student from a small town studying Archaeology and Forensic Science. Jax is invited on archaeological endeavors that turn into planetary safety missions, she often faces death on daily basis."

(((sorry sorry!!!! I had to finish off my program...and Im kinda sad...are you static?))
Mitsu listened to the story intently. She closed her eyes for a moment and let out a small sigh. "If only life was that exciting..." she said with a dreamlike tone. She stopped realizing what she said. "Not that being in Starfleet wasn't exciting...it's just that...it's rare to come across adventures like that..." she explained.

Chanda smiled as she was hit by the most wondrous idea. Invite the Lieutenant to the Holodeck for a little excitement. She glanced at the medical tricorder, seeing if she could peak any indication of how much longer was the physical. "Well, do you want to join me, my days pretty open and I could use a little help in my current story."

((Sweet I heard he is going to be on young justice too.))
Mitsu nearly dropped her tricorder when she heard the captain's statement. She quickly tried to regain composure, before she made a fool of herself in front of the captain. "Do you really mean that?" she asked as she checked the tricorder again to make sure that the physical was almost done.

Chanda noted Mitsu's reception to the invitation to spend some time with her. She also noted that this was only an addition to the numerous antsy reactions from the lieutenant. Chanda smiled genuinely and slid her hair behind her ear.
"With all my heart."
