She's a Muggleborn.
A very strange individual.
This is her First year in Hogwarts!

Yup! It's a mighty strange place, if'n yeh ask me!
I'm just havin' a hard time believin' that I've been chosen tuh go to school here!
There's so much magic, why, I feel as outta place as a lost pig ina herd o' cattle!
But I'm sure that'll be explained at some point in MUCH great'r detail.
Why, I even got me my own dia-... er, I mean, JOURNAL! tuh write about ~all~ my adventures at this here school!

Or day 1, I guess...

Hey Journal!!
I'm guessin' since yer new an' all, I'm gunna have to name you again. And by again, I clearly mean at all. Yer a new journal! I found yeh in my pile of supplies for this here school, so I figured if I'm gunna be startin' a new life at this fancy new school, I might as well be writin' in a fancy new book! Now I just need tuh figure out a name fer yah...

Hmm... Oh! I know! I can name yeh after my favorite cow! His name was T-Bone! He was the best Bull we ever raised! He even let me ride him around the farm like one of the horses! Of course, I guess he thought he was a horse sometimes. Golly, I miss T-Bone, but he made for an excellent dinner spread when it came time for our annual family reunion!

It's settled.
Your name shall be T-Bone in honor of him! But don't worry, I don't have any plans on eatin' yah....

I gotta tell yah, T-Bone. This magic stuff is all sorts of new tuh me. Them letters I've been gettin' all say I've been accepted due tuh my 'innate magical abilities' and that I'd be an excellent addition to their school, but honestly.... I just don't see it!

There ain't a speck of magic in me! The only magic I've known is the birthin' of a calf! Well... Aside from that fluke of a thing we all saw at the train station before I came here.

In fact, I think we was all a little surprised! And tuh be completely honest, I don't think I've ever seen my Grandpappy so stumped in all my life! There ain't nothin' that ever stumped him like that before!

Looks like the train is slowin' down. I'm guessin' we're about tuh the school, now. I'll talk at yah later, T-Bone! I'll tell yah all about my first night here at this Hogwarts place before bed.
