Finally, after a quite fun and exciting time in Serenia, Kav had decided to, instead of return home, go out and fight the next level dragon that was there. That was the Firani. This, however, made Kavanna a bit skeptical. She knew that she was a Ysali, so this made her very nervous going up against a Firani, their most fiercest competitor. One day, she would take a trip with others and maybe they would be able to help in defeating one if she hadn't the skills to do it alone. Fire almost scared her with how destructive it was, and the fact that her natural born enemy was that of fire, made her even more nervous.
She had finally made her way to Kaiatasel, where the rumored Firani Dragon's lived. Passing many of the desert wildlife as she did. Finally, she found herself at the base of Kaiatasel, the dragon's roost. She looked up at the roaring mountain. The heat could be felt within. She found the mountain trail winding up the side. She quickly took it, hoping that she would find some new dragon to fight.
After a few moments of walking around the mountain, she found a baby Firani in a nest-like structure. That would be the perfect victim, weak, unaware, perfect. She took out a few leaves for a Razor Leaf attack, but before she could, she felt the presence of another being above her. When she looked up, she noticed the deadly creature looming above. A real, huge, mother Firani Dragon.
It blew fire from above and Kav had barely escaped, her fear really rushing through her now. It wasn't long before she tripped and fell down the side of the mountain, the Firani dragon taking flight to go check on her baby no doubt.
Kav found herself at the bottom of the mountain, lying on the hard, sandy ground. She got herself up and limped away as quickly as she could. She would come back another day to attempt this again when she had more confidence in herself.
