A week passed since her last dragon battle. She had been working more towards learning some new spells the past week, which were turning out to be rather useful to her, she could tell that in the future, these would definitely do her justice.
But, she knew that now it was time for yet another battle with yet another Kiandri. Back to the Malro Desert she went, hoping to find some poor innocent victim to beat to a pulp. Yes, she was now longing to actually kill a dragon so much that it was a necessity. Was she becoming obsessive with these hunts? Who knew? Maybe it just felt so good to have her mother's clan dwindle? She didn't even know. All she did know was how good it felt to hold more Kiandri souls in her hands.
It wasn't long before she came across yet another Kiandri. This one was a lot more calm than the other two had been. Maybe it was younger? Who knew, but it didn't matter to her, the weaker it was the easier it would be to kill. She quickly outstretched her arms and out sprouted her vines, yet again, this time, she gripped them around the Kiandri, who seemed to give up without a fight. It almost seemed sad and maybe even depressed, like it didn't care whatsoever that Kav had it in a very vulnerable position just moments before it's soon to be death. She watched it as a few tears dripped down the dragon's face. Not even a spark of lightning, nothing at all to seem like it wanted to go on. It had to be the fact that it just wanted to die, because other than the fact that it just kind of took whatever Kav was dealing, it seemed perfectly healthy.
Soon, it was just time to go about as planned. She would just snap it's neck like she had wanted to do in the beginning. Finally, it let out a whimper, another few tears, and then gave up on life all it's own, it began to turn to dust right in Kav's vice gripping vines, without her doing anything at all. What was that? Maybe it was really sick before she found it, and it died of some terrible disease. Or...could it be a broken heart? Maybe the loss of something dear? Why was she trying to think passed the fact that it was probably just a sick and dying dragon. She shouldn't have concerned herself with it as long as she had.
Quickly, she picked up the soul and returned it to her pouch. It was now finally time for her to return home.
