[PRP] Lazy Day [Anga x Kanani]

A yawn escaped Anga's lips as he was lounging on an especially good rock. Anga was impressed. Seriously, he's traveled for miles and never has his body found a rock that perfectly fit his body. It was at the right temperature too. The cool surface really helped his hot pelt. The summer heat sucked this year. Well, it sucked every year, but this year was at least double the sucky from last year. Though, Anga didn't care anymore. He had this nice rock to lay on.

Anga rolled over onto his back and placed a paw over his eyes to shade them from the sun. He swung his other paw in time to a beat in his head. Soon, his tail swooshed along with it. He only stammered for a minute as he rubbed his butt extra hard on the rock. It became extremely itchy. A few good side to side movements solved the problem. Bonus, he did it to the beat in his head. A grin spread across his face. Yeah, he totally had the moves.

Anga's ears perked up. Something was moving through the area rather quickly. Well, he wasn't sure if anybody else would call it quickly...anything above a walk was too quick for Anga. Not that he was slow, it just required too much energy to move.

Two of his paw fingers spread apart to give him just enough room to peek from. His one eye spotted a black, female cheetah. How could she move in all this heat? It took all Anga had just to stay still. He watched as she got comfortable by the water. Then, his gaze shifted to the pool of water next to her. Aww, man. Now he was thirsty. Great, he'd have to pick up his sorry butt and walk alllll~ the way over there. Anga huffed, but managed to roll himself off the rock. He strolled over to the pool, stretching his legs. He'd been laying on that rock for hours. Coming up to the pool, Anga bent down to lap. After some good swallows, he lifted his head--water dripping into the pool and said, "This here is some good water." He licked the drops from his muzzle. "Yep, tested it myself." He cocked a grin and plopped himself near the edge.

Anga nodded as the cheetah started to cool down. He could totally sympathize. Both of them had black pelts that just absorbed the heat. Though, Anga was lucky that he wasn't a cheetah. A lion's nature was not to run real fast and move all over the place. Anga knew that cheetahs loved to run, but with that black pelt, it must be torture.

He stretched out his legs and laid down on his side. The sun sapped all his strength again. He'll need a nice nap to recover. He turned his attention to the cheetah, "The name's Anga. Seen any cool things lately?" Even though he was exhausted, he wasn't about to fall asleep next to a stranger. Who knows~ maybe she wanted to rip his throat out. She certainly had the speed, but strength was on his side. He didn't want to fight or move, but he'd rather not die. Of course, she didn't look like the killing type. Ack~whatever. All this thinking was making Anga hot.

Anga gave a little salute to Nani. Good thing she seemed chill. His ear twitched in irritation. He was just remembering the events that unfolded the other day. Anga managed to get stuck out in the heat and almost sweated to death. Just his luck, another lion happened by. Too bad the guy was related to his enemy: Grin. Turns out the kid was... well, Grin's kid. Though, he lead Anga to a nice stream. Still wasn't worth the hassle though. The kid had the same annoying skills his father did. Pain in Anga's a**.

Anga's tail flicked as his blood pressure continued to rise. He needed to stop thinking about Huritt. He turned his attention back to Nani. "Yeah, I haven't seen anything super cool either." He paused. Wait a minute...he did see something strange. "I take that back. I saw a hyena with a bull's skull on its head not too long ago." Anga tilted his head trying to remember. "You didn't happen to pass the guy? He looked pissed off and ready to kill something." He chuckled. Yeah, he hid so the thing could see him. That would not be somebody Anga wanted to mess with. Probably was a crazy killer or something.
