.... If i were to join this little tale... who do you think I should play as?.... there are just so many people in the Marvel Universe.....

I say take your time, look around at all the characters there are and find one you really like that you can get into. I know just among the X-Men alone there are a huge number of great characters. If you'd like some suggestions then I know several who would make great additions. Lets see....

Namor the Submariner
Spider-Man
Iron Man
Iron Fist
Kingpin
Red Skull
Luke Cage (known for exclaiming "Sweet Christmas" and for riding a rocket into Doctor Doom's castle to get the 200 bucks Doom owed him.)
Daredevil

Personally I think Namor the Submariner would be an awesome fit, and since he's played for both villains and heroes he can really go either way.

aye, i have been looking around. I of course am drawn to beings like Atum and stuff, but A. I think that godlike beings would be a bad fit. B. I want to play someone who can actually have a story arc, not some grand immortal.


So i am trying to think.

Question..... IF I did play the Sub Mariner.... would that mean that I get to rewrite the history of Atlantis?

also, i never heard of Iron Fist... but he sounds like he is a powerhouse... according to Marvel. Yea yea yea Kung Fu is badass, but he feels no pain.... annnnnd he can heal all his injuries/illnesses.....

I know there are ways around that... but he is powerful....

I also (when researching yesterday) found out about Penance for the first time. I dig his story... its messed up...

Hmmm.... There are other characters that also hail from Atlantis, but all other Atlanteans are really sort of minor characters compared to Namor, and Atlantis itself is more or less isolated from the rest of the Marvel world.

So yes, I think that would be just fine if you played with the history of Atlantis. If someone should want to play someone like Namorita then they can collab with you to figure out what if any effect the changes might have on the character.

Well, i haven't decided on it yet, but I there has been a lot of things leading back to Atlantis lately. I dunno. So many choices....

Slag wanted me to make charts for the DC, Marvel, and Pokemon RPs. Not really sure for what, fighting one another maybe? Anyway, I'm going off the Marvel Universe official handbook for canon characters, so everyone's on the same scale and will be making a thread to display them. In the meantime though, I wanted to give you yours. If you wanted a different pic, just link me and I'll change it for you. whee
