If the World's Finest forum is now being used for Time Vortex, I'd like to gauge interest for a Marvel roleplay to play out at least one World War II mission which took place decades ago in our Marvel Earth 73.
The idea was inspired by
this.
I'd like it to be a large-scale assault mission for our own version of Fury's Howling Commandoes [and others].
Characters Requested for people to play:
Sgt. Fury [Nick Fury or his father, Jack Fury]
Captain America
Wolverine
Howard Stark
Dum Dum Dugan & more.
Anyone can find a character to join the group or support HYDRA, because one can also use/create some sort of precursor to your usual character who was alive 50+ years ago. For example, I could have Bishop go to the past to the WWII era, or have Eric O'Grady's grandfather join the Commandoes, or any other variation. The main goal is to use characters who would have a living legacy utilized in (and connection to) the modern Universe 73.
And no one is limited to only the legacies they use in the main Marvel thread; those were just my examples.
