~::Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ]::~

(Answers to the questions that you may or may not be wanting to ask!)

Quote:
How many characters can I play at once?

Answer: In order to prevent one person from taking too much onto his/her self and to ensure that there aren't too many potential Persona users waiting for their chance to join the team, the limit for number of characters that can be played by a single person is 5 characters (though by request, we can lift the cap for you...if you feel you can handle more). They may be original characters, or a combination of original characters and canon roles. You may not, however, have more than one member of the original 8 members of the Investigation Team [Souji, Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko, Kanji, Rise, Naoto, and Teddie].

In addition, if you play an Investigation Team member and original characters, you will be expected to make at least ONE post as your Investigation Team member for every THREE you make as an Original Character. This is to ensure that the Investigation Team is as involved as it should be, and to make sure that having so many characters isn't going to be too much on the player in addition to their team member.

Quote:
May I play my favorite canon character from the Persona or SMT games?

Answer: If you wish to play a member of the original SEES or I. Teams, or any S. Link character from the Persona 3 or Persona 4 video games (or any other SMT game), you will be asked to submit an RP sample of yourself as that character to prove you are both literate and have a significant grasp of the character's personality/mentality. Judgment of this will be subjective, to the satisfaction of Arena Emperor and/or any other moderator asked to share an opinion on the matter. If your sample is deemed a success, you will be allowed to take over that role in the RP. If it is not, we will decline for now and allow you a chance to try again at a later date.

If the role is designated as belonging to someone else, then you cannot take that role away from them unless they are willing to part with it. Please, do not beg or be obnoxious about your desire for the role, or disparage the person currently performing it. Be as courteous as you would like for them to be if it were you in their shoes...

Quote:
Do I start with my Persona?

Answer: No. In order to obtain your persona, you must first face your true self. In order to first enter the Tower of Babel, you will need to either be guided in by friends, or [most likely] kidnapped and/or drawn inside the Tower. This will result in the appearance of your shadow's world [dungeon] as one of the levels of the Tower, and there you will face your true self...your shadow. When this happens, the Investigation Team will turn their attentions to rescuing you, and once they have defeated your shadow, you will have the opportunity to accept your hidden desires and thoughts. By doing this, you may then obtain your persona.

In some cases there may be exceptions to the rule...for example, under certain circumstances, Soji may also awaken your persona manually. However these are few and far between, and will usually have some importance to the developing plot. These instances will generally be either initiated or orchestrated by the Guild Captain [Arena Emperor], and he will inform you if you are to take part in such an event.

Quote:
How do I know what time it is? How can I know what's going on?

Answer: You can always find out the Time of Day by checking the most recent posts in the Announcements section of the front page. Also, events will almost always be introduced in the Announcements, so you can learn more about what's going on...and catch up with the plot at any time...by reading them! In addition, if you have further questions you can always refer to this FAQ and usually find your answers.

Quote:
I'm a new member who just joined the Guild...how should I get started?

Answer: Though the very first action you take will be to choose the class/group you would wish to join (descriptions of which are below) and creating a profile for your new character from the Character (Profile Skeletons) forum (which you will send to Arena Emperor or any other available moderator upon completion)...you may also wish to Read the Rules and Frequently Asked Questions, since the answers you seek may already be listed there. If you wish to catch up on the plot or find out what time of day it is, Read the Announcements and you will soon discover the answer.

Finally, when you wish to begin roleplaying, you may wish to start by chatting in the Out-of-Character forum and finding out who is online...and who has an available character to meet with yours and start interacting right away!

Quote:
I've heard the term NPC around here a lot...what does that mean?

Answer: Literally, it means Non-Player Character. What it actually means in this Guild is that the character in question was created by the moderator staff to help develop and/or progress the plot. Think of them like NPCs in any roleplaying game you've seen before, or any MMO. They usually have much higher stats than the normal character/player, but rarely change or grow in power from there.

They may be allies to give you advice or aid you in specific battles, or they may be enemies that you eventually have to overcome as you become stronger. Rules of the class may not always apply to them, as it pertains to the storyline.

Finally, in combat against one of these NPCs, the NPC will always be the 'Lead' in any given battle. What this means is that the NPC's post will always be accepted as 'fact'...that is to say, what they post happening will 100% have happened...and Player Characters (you) will be asked to react to what is in their posts.

Please do not worry, however, as your character will never be permanently killed in an NPC fight of this nature. These are merely meant to progress the plot...not to cheat you out of a good character!

Quote:
May I kill other player characters? Can they kill me?

Answer: In almost every case, you will never, ever have your character killed off unless you give your expressed permission to kill them off. They may be knocked out, or knock out other characters (disputes over the outcome of fights may be settled with complete autonomy by moderator's decision at any time), but they cannot permanently die. Instant 'Death' moves always result in KO, not death.

The only exception to this rule is known as the [Stupidity Clause]...in which you do something so out of line or foolish that death is the only logical course of reaction to what you have done. For example...if a character far, far stronger than you repeatedly warns you that HE WILL KILL YOU if you do not stop bothering him, and you persist...he may be granted permission to kill you. If you jump with a normal human into a 500 foot canyon, YOU WILL DIE. You must act within reason. That is all we ask...

Quote:
How many weapons/armor/accessories can I have? How many can I use in any given battle?

Answer: As you may notice, you will gain armor, weapons, etc. throughout your time in the Guild. You are welcome to collect as many different items as you can get your hands on! However, you can only equip One Armor, One Weapon, and One Accessory at a time! This also means that you cannot change once you have started fighting. Outside of battle you may change your equips from the items in your inventory at any time, but you cannot switch in-battle.

Other Items:

Quote:
I heard some people mentioning 'Alignment', and I'm confused!

Answer: Alignment generally refers to a character's disposition, beliefs, and placement on the spectrum.

The Major alignment is Law-Neutral-Chaos.

User ImageLaw: Beings affiliated with Law are big on hierarchy, rules, order, and control. They believe that all should serve the Great Will, and generally feel that freedom of will is a bad thing (though they may make exceptions for particularly distinguished companions), and Lawful ideals can run fairly extreme.

User ImageNeutral: This alignment focuses primarily on balance; have rules, but not to the point you crush freedom. It's mainly focused inward, on bettering yourself. However, it's also extremely difficult to maintain effectively; it's isolationist, without the support of Law or Chaos, and despite its idealistic nature, a world ruled by the Neutral alignment isn't necessarily going to be successful.

User ImageChaos: This alignment is the home of entities who prefer power, struggle, bloodletting, competition, and generally a fairly extreme form of Darwinism. They may even fight each other when bored, and be quite happy about doing so. However, despite their anarchic tendencies, entities affiliated with Chaos have been known to team up behind their leaders and heroes, and are arguably the most loyal force you can have if you prove yourself to them.

The second alignment section doesn't come up too often, but you may see the occasional reference to Light-Neutral-Dark.

Light: These entities are generally the heads of pantheons or otherwise rule over a large number of subordinates. Zeus, Odin, and beings like them are good examples of the Law-type. These beings also don't interfere with humanity all that much, and when met, they can almost never be recruited. Also, because of the tendency of chief deities to be in the Light category, Light is generally recognized as the most powerful of the minor alignments (their major enemies, usually in the Dark category, aren't usually as strong). Remember, though: Light is not always Good.

Neutral: Neutral entities in this alignment category trend towards being minor deities, nature spirits, and other supernatural folk. They might be the weakest, but there are usually quite a lot of them, and they are among the most commonly encountered sorts of entities.

Dark: Dark is not always Evil. Dark entities are usually being in opposition to the heads of their pantheons, but some of them side with humanity and may have helped give humans free will. Others, however, may be truly vicious beings, and Dark demons, while encountered fairly regularly, are less-inclined to join up with any kind of group.

Quote:
Battles confuse me. gonk

Battles are generally conducted in a turn-based manner; first one character goes, then the other. In larger groups, you may need to wait for several posts before acting again, and you should try to avoid acting twice before anyone you're targeting has gone.

Also, and this is very important, don't forget that battles are much like in the games. That is, there's no fancy movements to give yourself extra evasion you shouldn't have, there's no manipulating the environment for special attack bonuses... nothing like that. Unless otherwise stated (certain events can get a little weird, but guidelines will generally be mentioned when relevant). Feel free to elaborate on your movements to make it more interesting than two people standing there casting at each other, but remember, the window dressing is just for show.

Also, if you don't quite get things yet, feel free to ask a staff member (such as Rednal) to give you a tutorial fight, where each relevant item will be gone over step-by-step to help you understand it better. It's okay to ask questions if you aren't sure about something!

Question: I have a skill with random odds to be effective (a status skill, instant-death skill, or an attack with a random effect)...what are the odds that it will work?

Answer: Each of these has different odds that can change based on the complimentary skills that you have equipped to your character. A list of the odds for certain skills and modifications is as follows:

Status Skills (Rage, Eneveration, etc.): 1-4 Odds (Roll a dice 1-4 or RNG 1-4. If you roll a 1, the enemy will be affected by your status spell).
--Status Boost/Resistance Weakening - If you have a boost to your Status ability such as Poison Boost, or if you lower their Resistance using a spell like Stagnant Air, then the odds slant slightly in your favor, going from 1-4 to 1-3. If your OPPONENT has a resistance to that status (not a Null), it slants AGAINST you from 1-4 to 1-5. If the opponent has a Null for that status, then you cannot affect them with it unless you Break that Resistance.

Effects of Confusion: 1-4 odds each post, with your character acting in line with the actions dictated by the roll. Results are as follows. Note that if a character cannot fulfill the action (i.e. No allies to attack), it is automatically a 'Do Nothing' action.
1: Character attacks allies.
2: Character casts a support spell on the enemy (Dia, Tarukaja, etc.)
3: Character attacks the enemy (normal physical attack).
4. Character does nothing.

Effects of Fear: 1-4 odds each post, acting in line with the actions dictated by the roll. Results are as Follows.

1. Normal Action
2. Normal Action.
3. Character is Paralyzed with fear and does nothing.
4. Character Flees battle in fear

Random Effects: Random effects on weapons and physical skills are dependent upon the level of the effect. If it's low probability, 1-8 the random effect will be successful. Medium, 1-6. High, 1-4. Very high, 1-3. There are no abilities to change these odds. If the odds are unspecified (for example, a physical skill with "+Poison" as an effect), it is assumed to be Medium.

Question: What if I Null/Drain/Repel a skill that has a chance of an ailment? Do we still generate a number for the ailment?

Answer: No. Blocking a skill also blocks secondary effects of that skill, even if they're of a different element. Certain special or NPC-specific skills may be different, however, so please inquire if you're uncertain.

Low-Level Instant Death Skills (Hama, Mudo, Mahama, Mamudo that attempt instant death): 1-10 Odds (Roll a dice 1-10 or RNG 1-10. If you roll a 1, the enemy will be affected by your instant death/KO spell).
--Hama/Mudo Boost/Resistance Weakening - If you have a boost to your Hama/Mudo ability such as Hama/Mudo Boost, or if you lower their Resistance using a spell, then the odds slant slightly in your favor, going from 1-10 to 1-9. If your OPPONENT has a resistance to that status (not a Null), it slants AGAINST you from 1-10 to 1-11. If the opponent has a Null for that element, then you cannot affect them with it unless you Break that Resistance.

Med-Level Instant Death Skills (Hamaon, Mudoon, Mahamaon, Mamudoon): 1-6 odds.
--Boosts and Weakening: With a boost in your favor, odds become 1-5. With a resist in their favor, 1-7.

High-Level Instant Death Skills: 1-4 odds.
--Boosts and Weakening: With a boost in your favor odds become 1-3, with a resist in their favor 1-5.

Highest-Level Instant Death Skills: 1-3 odds.
--Boosts and Weakening: With a boost in your favor odds are 1-2, with a resist in their favor 1-4.

AMPS: On top of Boost skills for Ailments and Instant-KO, there are also Amp skills which raise your power in these spells higher. You CANNOT stack an Amp skill with a Boost skill. And if you use an Amp, you can increase odds bonuses in your favor by 2 instead of 1 except for the Highest Level Skills. You cannot manipulate the odds on those further than a boost [because the odds would reach 1-1, and you cannot automatically land an instant death spell.]

Quote:
Question: How do I count the posts for techniques with durations?

Answer: It's the number of posts (usually three) made by the person affected by the technique, so it will end after their third (or whatever the duration) move after the technique was used. If you cast it on yourself, that's the first turn.

Quote:
Question: How do Evasion Skills (like Evade Fire) work?

Answer: Evasion Skills, as the name implies, increase your ability to avoid attacks of a particular element. While we do not have RNG at this time for such things, you can consider that with an Evade skill, you can dodge attacks of that element "sometimes", and with True-Evade, you can dodge attacks of that element "regularly". Neither, however, will let you dodge all the time, especially against someone of a Higher Tier.

In addition, as a magical evasion, Evade and True-Evade skills are affected by speed buffs and debuffs. In other words, Evade can be enhanced by skills like Sukukaja (Evade would become like True-Evade), and weakened by skills like Sukunda.

With the restoration of the Shogunate under Motornari Mori, however, their long-treasured vow of service to the Shogun is once again restored...though they know little of the wickedness of their new master and are often fooled, due to their kind nature, into believing that the atrocities they commit are in the name of a true justice. Rescuing them from their previous lives, they serve their debt to him with absolute loyalty and become his force of Fused Summoners...the Eight-Headed Orochi...with which he will devour the Kuzunoha that defend the country and destroy the order which binds the world together...the chaos providing a fitting chorus for the world's new king to sleep to...

The Candelabrum and the Path of Lucifer
One of the many ongoing battles between [Law] and [Chaos] in the world is the Battle for the Candelabrum. This Tournament, in which Fiends of Lucifer battle one another for possession of cursed items known as Candelabrum, was conceived by the Fallen Angel himself for an unknown purpose. By nature, those humans who have transcended their humanity and become what are known as Demi-Fiends are drafted into this contest with others of Lucifer's choosing...with only one able to emerge from the Tournament as the victor...

In order to participate in this Tournament, you must either be given a Candelabrum by Lucifer himself, be given a Candelabrum by one of the Fiends holding them, or take one from a Fiend who holds one of the Candelabrum.

*~::The Pantheon of the Multiverse::~*
(The Powerful "Gods" Watching Over All Creation...)

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

::The King of the Multiverse, Lord of All Creation, the Mighty Lord Igni::

Quote:
Played By: Arena Emperor

Quote:
Name: Igni
Titles: Multiverse King, Lord of All Creation, the Lordflame
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: ALL
Likes: Tasty food! Skilled fighters, interesting things, unexpected or unique things, people who solve their own problems. Procrastinating, sleeping, observing.
Dislikes: Bad food! Boring people, predictable things, cliche people, helpless people who only rely on the gods. Time travelers, AU Minori Koroko (sort of), tea, blasphemers, and people who don't acknowledge that he can delete them with a snap of his fingers.

Other: Lord Igni is a peculiar sort. Unlike his predecessor Polaris, he likes to actively visit the Universes over which he governs and explore what they have to offer, their progress, and experience the delicacies that his worlds have to offer. Knowing the workings of everything does not equate to having experienced them, after all, and therein lay (in his opinion) one of Polaris's greatest flaws...he cast judgment too often without having personally experienced things to decide if they were worth saving. He is also...well, not exactly what you'd expect of a god. He is flippant, casual, and sometimes downright childish, but he is also incomparably wise and knowledgeable. Knowing the answer does not always mean he will tell you the answer, however, and while he cannot directly interfere in most mortal affairs, he can often be...well, bribed to share a little more than he maybe should.

*********************************************

::Yagni the Smiling Horror::

Quote:
Played By: Zorc James

Quote:
Name: Yagni
Titles: God of Universe 1, The Great Old One, The Smiling Horror
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 1
Likes: Things that are not what they seem. Ugly-cute things. Dark places, pretty faces, the sound a world makes when it's dying. Life, living things, evolving things. Sour foods. Racing on the back of beasts. Scaring people with a smile.
Dislikes: Simple people, discrimination based on appearances. Salty foods. Cruelty to animals. Stagnant things. Clear water. People who are overly formal.

Other: As the God of a universe in which horrors traverse the universe in ways a normal person cannot even fathom, and a world in which the beautiful often hides the incomprehensibly horrifying, Yagni is a God of Hidden Depths and the truest of selves. Able to smile a beautiful smile as they condemn you to eternal damnation or destruction, they will feed an unworthy planet to their pet/weapon...a horror of cosmic scale they tamed and made into an unwilling servant.

*********************************************
::Stella of the Desolate World::

Quote:
Played By: Rednal

Quote:
Name: Stella
Titles: Goddess of the Desolate Worlds, Mother of Ice, Goddess of Balance and Isolation
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 2
Likes: Strong things, resilient things, things which look frail but which prove to be strong. Isolated places, little sources of warmth amidst the cold. Balance in the universe. Honor, strength, and decent, admirable passion. Warm dishes with an explosion of flavor and warmth packed within like dumplings, takoyaki, and various filled buns. Warm drinks like tea, coffee, and especially hot chocolate.
Dislikes: Wild things, disorder and chaos, the cold. Cold foods. Subterfuge and dishonesty. Misguided passion.

Other: Thought to be the oldest among the Gods, Stella has been performing her duties of moderating the second universe so long that she had become quite cold to her duties. Preferring to maintain a balance between fortune and misfortune, between light and dark, but over the countless ages her universe has slowly, naturally begun to fade and grow colder...with races passing from the galaxy in a natural order or being destroyed by their Goddess when necessary. Through the ages of seeing new things rise only to die, there is little that moves her to passion, and she performs her duties with a cold detachment. Though perhaps there is something inside of her that desires the connection she no longer seems to have...

*********************************************
::Gengar the Corrupted God::

Quote:
Played By: Great Ryoman!

Quote:
Name: Gengar
Titles: The Corrupted God. The God of Mischief and Corruption.
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 3
Likes: Observing people and living things. Testing others' limits. People who act and think outside the box. High places. Toying with people. Nighttime, moonlight. Grilled fish. Being praised.
Dislikes: Dumb people. Simple people. Any world without life. Daylight, stars. Being underground. Overly-devout people who beg him to save them without acting to save themselves. Anybody who questions his way of doing things. Catnip. People trying to show him up.

Other: Gengar is the God of the Corrupted Universe of the Bad Future, and it is reflected upon his body in that he appears to be half-corrupted, as the world which he governs. He does not seem to mind this, however, and has enjoyed watching the developments on the Corrupted Earth above most other worlds within his realm. He is known by the other gods as a bit of a hands-off God unless he is challenged or insulted, but loves to drop little challenges for the people of his universe as something for them to overcome or combat. He is a stirrer of mischief, a god who prefers to watch others overcome trials than help them himself, and there is a small streak of casually cruelty in him, though he is not necessarily an evil god. One of the youngest gods, he is viewed as somewhat inexperienced, and this offends him and makes him want to prove himself all the more.

*********************************************
::Sofie the Benevolent Huglord::

Quote:
Played By: Necromonium

Quote:
Name: Sofie
Titles: Huglord, Self-Proclaimed Goddess of Cuteness, Protector of Virtue and Pleasure
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 4
Likes: CUTE THINGS! Ribbons, lace, soft things, pink things. Small animals, smiling, people who are happy and smile. Granting wishes to those who really deserve them, giving hugs to those in need, and seeing people rewarded for their hard work and efforts. Loves being praised, adores being called cute. Parfaits, flan, gummy things. Jello! Pudding! Chocolate cakes! Mocha! Hot chocolate with ALL the marshmallows!
Dislikes: NOT-CUTE THINGS! Universe 9 in its entirety. Dark things, unhappy or sad things, being refused hugs or those who do not like hugs at all. People who give up right away. People who don't recognize her cuteness. Slimy or tough foods. Black coffee.

Other: Sofie is the self-styled Goddess of Cuteness, and will not take kindly to anybody who questions that or the fact that hers is the cutest universe of all. One of the more hands-on Goddesses in the 12 Universes, she likes to reward those who have earned it, and can be easily convinced to do this or that via bribery and praise. She is not naive, however, and cannot be fooled as easily as one might think from her appearance...and she will come down hard on those who attempt to deceive her or cheat to earn her favor. She quite enjoys giving hugs to those who she meets, both because she enjoys them and because it is a 'cute' thing to do. She is not all smiles and hugs, however, as her rivalry with Universe 9's God is well-documented as the two disagree fundamentally on what constitutes cuteness and why each of their universes is more so than the other.

*********************************************
::Garyx the Dragon God::

Quote:
Played By: Yokoalchemist

Quote:
Name: Garyx
Titles: The Dragon God, God of Fire and Rebirth, The God of Heroes
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 5
Likes: Brave warriors, skillful people, those who stand up when the need arises regardless of power or skill. Fire, gold, diversity, cunning. Cooked red and white meat and strong sake. Knowing when to be quiet and when to speak. Nobility. Wisdom. Spirit. Dargon the Unbroken.
Dislikes: Ignorance and strength without the wisdom to know when to use it. Those with dark hearts and cruel intentions. Raw meat, weak drink. Thieves. His sibling.

Other: Known as the Dragon God and the God of Heroes, Garyx is a deity that adheres very closely to the job description and only intervenes if and when he deems it necessary for the continuation of the universe. However he is not quite so distant or cold as Stella, and does not mind interaction with mortals if they ever ascend to a level in which they can stand on the same stage...not quite the same level...with the Gods. He rewards heroes for their deeds at the end of their quests, but does not intervene upon the actions of villains instead placing his trust in the heroes of the universe. His is a universe of epic conflict, universe-spanning civilizations and powers, varied and strong. It is not a universe entirely secluded, however, as Universe 8...lead by Garyx's sibling the God of Universe 8...once launched an invasion of his Universe by tasking a creature known as the Crucible to invade Universe 5's Earth...but a hero in the mold of Garyx, known as Dargon, defeated the Crucible...and heroes of generations after dealt with the remnants. Garyx, in turn, defeated his sibling directly and scarred them, returning them to their own universe in defeat. Both Universes exist under a warning from Lord Igni now, but the rivalry between them burns hot on the side of his sibling...and Garyx remains ready for the day that it may ignite once more.

::Rhiannon the Goddess of Wisdom::

Quote:
Played By: Hibarii chan

Quote:
Name: Rhiannon
Titles: Goddess of Wisdom and Scholastic Achievement, The Heavenly Mind, The Divine Strategist, Lord of All Skies
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 6
Likes: Intelligence, patience, cunning, and wisdom. Appreciates nature and natural beauty, loves quiet, song, and dance. The smell of fresh air, people who appreciate natural order and take their time to think and listen. Tea, honey, fruit. Neatness and politeness.
Dislikes: Rude people. Ignorance. Simplicity that rejects wisdom and counsel. The rejection of life and light for darkness and misery. Putting strength before wisdom. Eating meat. Being completely alone for too long. Overly loud people. Those who destroy nature.

Other: A goddess revered among the pantheon for her wisdom, her patience, and her sound advice...even among gods she is considered to be brilliant and someone who is to be respected. She has ruled her universe well for quite a while, maintaining a relatively healthy balance in which her worlds have grown in technology and wisdom, expanded outward, and truly thrived in between the few tumultuous periods of history in which some civilizations, for the universe's sake or for foolish choices, fell. Valuing wisdom, patience, piety, and natural order over many things, she is loved by those who know her and is said to have several apprentices in her universe who dote on their beloved Lady simply out of admiration for her. Despite being a patient sort, she and the God of Universe 7 often are at odds over whether strength or cunning is the most important aspect of power...but there is a healthy respect and rivalry between them.

::Manda, God of the Citadel::

Quote:
Played By: ???

Quote:
Name: Manda
Titles: God of Towers, God of the Citadel, Manda the Sturdy
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 7
Likes: Strength, simplicity, straightforward and honest people. The reaction of overconfident people when they encounter a wall they cannot overcome. The triumph of someone obtaining the strength to overcome. Games, trials, tournaments. Rock candy, caramel popcorn, meat and potatoes.
Dislikes: People who accept weakness without trying to overcome, arrogant people, giving up or conceding defeat. Being idle. Soft foods. Soft beds. Soft things.

Other: The God of the 7th Universe is a God who enjoys battle, strength, and the growth to overcome one's faults in order to become stronger. His is a universe that is constantly in turmoil, but it is a turmoil meant to change and foster growth. Some might call his philosophy Darwinian, but rather than casting out those who are weaker, he prefers to encourage them to continue to grow. Cheeky but strong and surprisingly clever, Manda supports strength and effort as the cornerstones of power as opposed to the God of 6th Universe's preference for cleverness and intelligence.

*********************************************

::Regan the Conqueror::

Quote:
Played By: ???

Quote:
Name: Regan
Titles: Goddess of War, The Conqueror, Goddess of Conflict and Sacrifice
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 8
Likes: War, conquest, conflict. Rising above all others by virtue of strength and wit. Gleefully revealing one's true nature, lifting the veil on lies. Watching the strong do battle, and the weak be crushed beneath. Red meat lightly cooked. Bargaining.
Dislikes: Her brother. Peaceful time, quiet worlds. Heroes and so-called virtuous people hiding their true, selfish faces from the world. Dargon the Unbroken.

Other: Older sister of Garyx the Dragon god, Regan often feels as though she is overlooked due to the popularity and affection people have for him, and she believes there is a wicked, selfish side to him that she be revealed to all the Gods and the people of his universe. In addition, the heroes in the 5th Universe annoy her...appearing to her as insects hiding their true nature. This petty side of Regan lead her to send a creature known as 'the Crucible' into the 5th Universe as the prelude to an invasion force, but to her consternation, it was defeated by a certain hero in her brother's Universe...and subsequent attempts to invade were beaten back by the heroes of the 5th Universe. Regan herself was scarred and pushed back by her brother, beaten in her haste and send back to the 8th Universe in shame and anger. This action upset Lord Igni enough that both universes are under close watch now, but the feud between the two is hardly over...only waiting for the right time to be reignited again.

*********************************************
::Faris, Goddess of the Wild::

Quote:
Played By: Sreze

Quote:
Name: Faris
Titles: Goddess of the Wild, the Self-Proclaimed Goddess of Cuteness and Fluffy Things
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 9
Likes: FLUFFY THINGS! Small animals, cute things, children, the protective instinct in stronger things to shield weaker things from harm. Natural beauty, running wild through the forests, big families, big meals. Spicy foods. Deceptive magic!
Dislikes: NON-FLUFFY THINGS! Universe 4's Goddess and her lying liar pants that claim SHE'S the cutest! Hunters, poachers, war and industry. Bullies, being alone, being cold. Bland foods.

Other: The Goddess of the Wild, ruler of Universe 9, is a goddess who like her rival from Universe 4 fancies herself the cutest Goddess of them all! She loves cute things and defends the wild, beautiful worlds under her protection fiercely...often bending universal law ever-so-slightly in order to give weaker things a chance to survive. She prefers to avoid conflict using deception when possible, and has a strong distaste for those who would hurt weaker, cuter things. She does not like those who thrive on war, but rather, try to work together in harmony. She never had family among the gods, but there are a few of her colleagues she would consider to be such. Still, she is searching for a feeling of belonging that has long eluded her...and she will find that through the power of being TOO damn cute!

*********************************************
::Hamon, Song of the Twilight::

Quote:
Played By: Arena Emperor

Quote:
Name: Hamon
Titles: God of Light, Temperance, and Purpose. Bringer of the New Dawn, Keeper of the Eternal Dusk. The Song of the Twilight.
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 10
Likes: Mortals, humans and demons and the many variations of the two. Training both mind and body. Studying deeply before making judgment. Those who act in wisdom but know when to wield strength swiftly and decisively. Hope, justice, the goodness that shines out in the hearts of men. Soba noodles, green tea, and the Bushido Code. History. Teaching. Art. Playing music on strings. Theater.
Dislikes: Rash impatience, attempts to subvert his authority and judgment. Wickedness. Unnecessary conflict. Fatty foods, alcoholic beverages.

Other: Hamon is the God of the 10th Universe, which coincidentally, is the same Universe in which this world's events...the Persona 4: FES - The Golden...take place. Known by many names, he is often thought of as one of the strongest, most patient, and even-keeled of all the Gods and one who performs his duties so reliably that even the Administrator of Worlds often cedes to his counsel. Strong, clever, and above all, able to sense the balance between chaos and light so acutely that he has allowed the Earth of Universe 10 to teeter for decades now on the brink of destruction, always perceiving the goodness and the strength of the light that would push back against the dark and overcome. When Polaris chose to judge his world stagnant and corrupt, it was Hamon who fought against this judgment the most fiercely, and it is thought that there is some role he might have played in the humanization of Alcor during that event as it played out. And when humanity proved their worth and the 10th Universe was saved, it was Hamon again who boldly pushed for no-confidence in Polaris and saw to his dismissal and replacement with the current Lord of All Creation. Many ages have passed in the realm of the gods since then, but a mere blink for humanity. Many things have changed since then, but the respect and admiration held by Hamon among his peers remains the same...just as his world remains on the brink of dusk as it always has, but with a new dawn always just on the horizon should the dark begin to fall. Legends have traversed his (and other) universe which speak of him as the 'Song of the Twilight'...a balancing force in the universe whose will and music grants spirit to the hearts of men and women who fight against the darkness. Some say it is the music of his heart touching the spirits of mortals which grants them the inspiration to fight and find something to believe in when all other hope fades.

*********************************************
::Nambi of the Inescapable Dark::

Quote:
Played By: Zorc James

Quote:
Name: Ix-Ero Nambi
Titles: "Ix" or "Nambi" for short. Goddess of Obsessive Love, Frenzied Passion, and the Deep Earth and Long Dark. Nambi of the Inescapable Dark. Goddess of Obsession.
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 11
Likes: Men. Playing with life, bringing that which is dead back from the grave. Seeing grief repaid with fortune, fortune turn to ash, ashes give rise to new grief and new fortune. Obsession. Single-minded pursuit, strength, and cunning. Grapes, red wine, thin slabs of fine-cut, well-cooked meat. The dark. The unloved. The desperate. Those who will sell something precious to obtain something they desire. Keeping that which she herself desires all to herself. Being outright worshiped by the mortals to whom she presents herself.
Dislikes: Women. Boring or wishy-washy people. Too much light, things that come too easy. Giving up too soon, natural boundaries. Personal space. Sharing. Carbohydrates.

Other: Ix-Ero Nambi (or Nambi for short) is a goddess who strikes a measure of unease into the hearts of the other members of the Universal Pantheon simply by virtue of existing. Nambi is...obsessive. Both in her personality and the way that she pursues what she wishes to obtain, and in addition to that, this often colors the way that she moderates Universe 11...often unwilling to let go of or let die the things which she takes an interest in, seizing hold of them and never letting them escape from her influence. She is known to obsess...over a god she chooses to become affectionate with, a mortal who she deems pretty enough to catch her eye...or a power or item which she decides she needs to obtain or see into the hands of a worthy mortal. Her low voice, eerie chuckle, and unsettling smile make the other gods wary of her intentions often, and the fact that she has made...unsettling moves on more than one of them before keeps them on their toes. One never quite knows what to expect from Nambi, but one can always bet that once she starts to obsess over something...she will have it, one way or another.

*********************************************
::Koal of Many-Faces::

Quote:
Played By: Necromonium

Quote:
Name: Koal
Titles: Koal of Many-Faces, the Faceless God, Goddess of the Hunt, Goddess of Skill and Bounty
Appearance: User Image
Universe #: 12
Likes: Maintaining a measure of secrecy about themselves. Peaceful isolation, study, and personal ascent via training and education. Animals, natural beauty, and the many deadly ways to turn such natural wonders to your own use. Swift movement in silence. Sneaking up on people (and the screams/sounds they make when they do). Grilled foods, caught by-hand and cooked on an open-flame. Hot spring baths (alone).
Dislikes: Nosy people and gods who pry too much. Being caught off-guard, being surprised. Unwillingness to learn or change, the destruction of nature. Any prepackaged foods or dehydrated rations.

Other: Despite what you might think, the titles by which Koal is known are not typos...the confusion over Koal's actual gender (likely female, but nobody really knows for sure outside of a select few) stems from the secrecy with which they guard information about themselves. They are the type who prefers to work in shadows, guiding their universe in the way that they choose without often revealing his/herself to the mortals they watch over. Prefer to keep their universe segmented, isolated in tribes on various worlds where they can grow and train and believe in whatever they wish to without fear of persecution or invasion. As a result, technology has not progressed quite as much in Universe 12 as other universes, but mystical arts have grown dramatically...making them quite formidable in combat, particularly when utilizing their skills in stealth. Despite the serious manner of Koal, there is still a streak of mischief within them, and pride as well. The chance to prank and show off the talents of his Universe to the other gods soon is something that they certainly savor. Though any other reasons they might have to come are kept well-guarded.
