The text to all trainees, no, not just trainees but even certain Hunters should really by now, not have been that surprising. Text from Caelius Trainees and selected Hunters are to appear at room 201B for a mission debriefing. Hopefully this one did not involve too much dying or endangering lives or something, considering the last one had been actually relatively mild, the only real traumatizing factor that most Hunters on the Island had been put off boobs and watermelons simultaneously for the next few weeks. So really, it could be, maybe it was something really harmless and mildly entertaining.
All hope pretty much flew out the window at the winning expression of the Death Division lead, who pretty much looked like he was going to flip another table again - though most likely the Sun lead, also sitting there prevented a recourse of table-flipping action. Oddly enough, both of them were extremely quiet, neither talking to each other or much of anything else, Caelius shuffling through a few mission reports while Allan twiddled his fingers, flipped open and closed his cell phone and looked extremely restless.

Surprising, really, that Caelius had not told them to arrive at the meeting two minutes before it was actually that time, but Gale was not about to look a gift horse in the mouth. He had also holed up in his house during the entire...gender issue, and therefore - thankfully - had not had to deal with anyone during that rather horrible and ridiculous scenario.
Now, it seemed, everything was back to the way it should have been - namely terrible, because with Caelius, nothing was ever good anyway, and Gale had really come to expect that anything involving the Death Hunter Leader was, in fact, outrageously problematic.
Add to the fact that a certain Sun Hunter Leader was also in the room, oddly quiet for once, and Gale was really quite certain that they were about to go on yet another life threatening, dangerous, ridiculously terrible, awful, no good, very bad mission.
<< And yet, here you are. >> quipped Jinhai, as Gale stepped into the room, eyeing the two leads with a certain amount of apprehension. He remained silent, however, and made his way to the nearest seat - thankfully several down from where Caelius was - and slipped into the chair without a word.

Oh goodie. A text from Caelius. It was the best day. Madison considered winging the phone into the wall, then sighed and rolled off her bed, collecting her coat and getting herself ready. "Time to go, almighty Kouki-sama - feel like biting a** today?"
Always, the serpent-sword said, with dignity.
"Right." She tossed her phone in one hand, then tucked it securely into her obi before heading out. She was ready for the worst... and, in fact, Caelius' expression upon her entrance seemed to bear that out. Right. Death-Boss is pissed. (Boss is usually pissed, true, but right now Boss seemed extra pissed.) And Allan was there too.
Given her past experiences, Madison gave the Sun division lead a more wary expression than Caelius as she took her seat.

Clerise was used to this bullshit by now. Without delaying, she grabbed her usual items of importance: One, her new coat. Two, Balthazar's shiny pocketwatch self. Three, some ******** bandaids. Without fail, they always needed them. It would be her first real mission since... {[ Our mutual near death experience? ]} Balthazar asked, a hint of amusement tainting his gravely voice. Exactly. We're stronger, now. Also, I'll uh. Be sure to run, this time. If I have to.{[ Discretion is the better part of valour. ]} -- Kostya started awake, scrubbing at his eyes. He grabbed for the vibrating phone, squinting to read it without his glasses. Scanning the text with blurry vision, he felt his whole body growing lighter, energy flooding to his limbs.
A purpose.[syntax.error@K.BASHMET ~]# 【・U・?】 Time to see what we can do, da?[syntax.error@K.BASHMET ~]# (^O^☆♪ As he made his way to the meeting, Kostya texted his roommate, wherever the other trainee may have been.nothing yet Mimsy. I left already. Meet you in meeting room.

Rep felt his heart sink as he read the mission text. Well, this was what he had been dreading. A mission, and he had nothing to fight with other than possibly some nasty words.
But pride demanded that he show up, he was a sun hunter, it was a matter of principle that he fought, that he did his job. If the people in charge decided that he'd be crippled in doing his job then that was their respective prerogative. He could only do what he could, and he intended to. Donning his jacket, still that of a trainee he headed to the specified room and slipped in.
He spotted Cael and frowned, only to notice Allan right after and immediately shift his gaze to the table. He wasn't even sure if he should have been there, he was barely a trainee at this point, but to him missing a mission out of uncertainty was unacceptable. At least it was still relatively quiet.
He sat down.
This was going to be awful, he could tell.

Weird. Didn’t Caelius usually include a time or something? Wilson didn’t think too much of it. Behind him, he heard Gale walk out of the house and Wilson knew that the lad had already finished reading the text. He glanced around the house, searching for Deryk and Eva before he shrugged and decided to follow after Gale. “Wait up!” But the other hunter had already disappeared. Huh. How quick.
He wasn’t surprised to notice the Death lead being quiet. The expression on Caelius’ face wasn’t surprising either. It was just Caelius being his usual self…right? Wilson sat down into the nearest empty seat while he curiously watched Allan fiddle with his phone. He didn’t look like his usual self. Wilson leaned into his seat, his gaze switching between the two leaders, but Allan had him more worried. This mission wasn’t going to be very pleasant, was it?
[Is it ever pleasant, Youngin’?]

Candace wasted no time when she realized the text was from Caelius. The man who threw her in a pit of Insanity infected townspeople. Thanks, Caelius. Thanks. She threw on her coat, grabbed her gloves, and headed out at a run. He didn't specify a time to be there for once which was slightly odd for the man but hey she wasn't about to complain. But that still didn't mean she was going to take her time getting there.
She slowed to a jog and then finally a walk as she approached the door to the room, sighing a little as she stepped in. Ah, there he was. And...Allan? Oookaaaaay. That was kind of odd for Allan to not be smiling and cheerful and greeting all of the 'nakama' that entered the room. She blinked, pocketing her gloves in her hunter coat and sitting in the first open seat. She looked around to see who else was around, tensing when she noticed Rep. Why was he here? Did he still have that ********. He did. Any runic weapons? Did he have those? He better not ******** die during whatever this was.
She sat quiet, simply waiting now.

A text that didn't tell her to teleport?
Cass didn't mind being timely despite those texts, but she liked being able to not turn into a sweaty-gross mess just to get to the location in question on time, by all means. Timeliness was important, after all.
However, like Candace the sight of Allan looking very..concerned...made her brows knit together a bit, her hand settling on the chain around her waist as she looped her thumbs through the links. Something on your mind, Cassandra? <> Something is always wrong around h- oh.. you...oh...
The dark thoughts in her head impressed upon her bonded and it seemed he didn't know how to respond to them entirely as they were well founded. Never the less, she took a moment to try and figure out who she'd be gravitating towards for this mission. Hmmm..

Mission debriefing..Kat practically cringed when she opened her phone to find that text. But hey..if it wasn't anything dealing with melons or conventions, she could handle it better. Probably. Hopefully..
No specific time was given for them to show up for the mission debriefing, so she had to assume that they were to head on over to room 201B now. It was a good enough guess, as many other hunters had already gathered in the room, awaiting the mission debriefing. A few familiar faces were in the room, as she nodded to any of those who noticed her arrival before claiming a vacant seat.
So..have any wild guesses on what this might be?
:How is that supposed to help you out? Its not like I can read minds you know.:
Aren't you reading mine?
:Anyone of importance.:

Mission debriefing meant another walk through hell and back. Would a normal person look forward to it? Hell no.
But for Ami it was something to do, something to distract herself with. If that meant a few more bruises, sure, lay it on her.
< Be careful. > Junpei warned. He was becoming increasingly frantic as the days went on. It seemed like the more she struggled, the more he nagged. The chip down the center was still starkly apparent. In fact, nearly overnight Ami had noticed a strange gem-like protrusion. It was odd, but Junpei showed no effect, so Ami didn't care.
I will be, she thought back as she slipped into line in a seat next to Kat, blinking a few times as her eyes refocused. Turns out coming to a mission after only two hours of sleep? Nooot so great. All poor Kat got was a nod in acknowledgment and a sleepy yawn.

"..fine really. Shh shh.. Allan and Caelius." Bix was heard on the other side of the door before he came slowly and stiffly through it. The albino hunter had been approved for duty after his recent injury but he hadn't summoned his bow since. Despite the Infirmary's reassurances the wound still ached and the stitches weren't yet allowed to come out. Still, they'd told him continue with duties as normal.
His eyes darted over everyone, giving small smiles and nods, and held the door for Ceres behind him. He took the seat closest to Gale, giving his friend a nod in silence. His eyes looked tentatively over at Caelius, the last time he'd seen him he'd ended up unconscious.
Both division leaders looked tense and it had set quite an electric mood in the quiet room.

Dakota was pleasant enough as he went to chill in the mission room. Oddly on time for the briefing.
He liked quiet Caelius the best to and sat down, leaning in his chair so it rocked back and forth.
Though whether it was the quiet of the room or if Dakota didn have some smart comment to say, He looked over to Rep then to Gale and lastly Wilson. His gaze lingered on the death hunter a little longer before flicking away. He really should be over the whole bromance thing....
He really should be.

Harrison showed up looking like he was made of tight metal wires instead of muscle, the thousand yard stare of a man walking to his execution.
It wasn't his execution, but it might as well have been.
Every part of him was churning with a thousand different feelings, gloom, despair, anger, hatred, determination, and then right back to misery. He shut down on the brew like a clam snapping its shell shut, leaving a very stiff posture that radiated menace.
He stood very close to Rep.

No, not fine. Ceres had argued with Bix, up to a certain point of being right outside the door. Well argued was a strong term, more like heavily disagree'd that he was ready to go out in to the field again. Life division had given her friend the all clear to begin missions again, but the firm nature of the text all of them received made her wonder exactly how 'light' of a mission this would be. She knew life labs had more trained doctors and nurses within, but her own not-finished medical knowledge was screaming at her to make him rest.
He was a grown man though, so he could decide for himself.
It did not help that not just one, but TWO leaders were here. It was enough to zip her lips shut as she walked through the door the albino man had opened for her. She chose instead to send him disapproving looks, settling in a chair near his own. (she is firing eye lasers at you, Bix.)
She glance and gave a wave to Gale, Kat, Dakota, and Candace each respectfully before she settled in to the front of the room. Staring at the two leaderss she too wondered what, exactly was going on.
It's way too quiet.
I noticed that too.

Not being told to report to the briefing room within the next two minutes was a nice change, but it also made Jordan faintly suspicious. What was going on? When he reached the room and saw that Allan was also there, quiet and looking restless, his suspicion grew deeper. And s**t, of course they'd gotten called up on a mission while Rep was still cuffed.
He took a seat quietly, next to Rep; if it came down to it, he and Harrison could shield him.
Jordan's eyes flicked around the room, taking note of who was here and who had yet to arrive. Maddie got a small smile. He hadn't seen his friend since before the dorms were cleared; they'd have to catch up later.
