Personality: Zoraida is semi happy…when she isn’t busy being bitter about what happened to her. She had been enjoying a normal life before being blinded. She feels it was stolen, and she is very mad at they guy who blinded her, even if it was accidental. She needs to depend on others to lead her around occasionally, but for the most part she can get around by herself, and recognizes most people’s voices, and a few people’s footsteps. She is known to love music since she relies on hearing more than anything.
Bio: Zoraida had been planning on a normal life. Her parents were legal immigrants from Mexico, and had just become american citizens. She had been so happy, expecting a perfect and happy life. She made a few friends. Yet then the accident happened. Her and her friends were messing around one winter. They were using thick icicles like swords; poking and slashing at each other playfully. Yet one boy went too far, jabbing it at Zoraida’s eyes. He accidentally ripped apart her eyes, blinding her. She was treated in the hospital, and for weeks her and her parents pretended she could see, but it was a secret they couldn’t keep. Especially at school. She was taken to the facility to be forgotten.
