i just got my 3ds less than a year ago thn this 3dsXL came out.
I think its a waist of money cause it cant even fit in ur pocket!!!nintendo is just trying to make a few dollars.+there is an add on circle pad for the regular 3ds.!!!!WHOSE WITH ME!!!
K, first off, the entire reason they came up with the DSiXL is that older people in Japan play video games. The tiny screen on the DSi was hard for older people to see, so they went with bigger screens.
They did the exact same thing with the 3DS. The 3DSXL is simply another option for people who don't have a 3DS yet. It isn't updated or anything. It's simply a bigger 3DS, nothing more. And no one is forcing you to buy it anyway.
That is why it does NOT have a second circle pad built in. They didn't want it to be superior to the original. Also, how many games use the second circle pad anyway? 2?
Sure, it can't fit in your pocket, but when you're a girl, that really isn't a problem. Just put it in a purse or a shoulder bag.
As for men, I'm sure there's a pair of pants out there that have extra large pockets that will fit the 3DSXL. Heck, even I remember somehow fitting my DSiXL into my pants pocket before.
And OF COURSE Nintendo is trying to make some money. That's the entire reason video games even exist!
