Name: Mayonaka (Midnight in Japanenese)

Whats He like: He talks a lot but isn't loud for the most part, very out going, a bit of a klutz. He trips and falls all the time over the littlest things but he will stand back up and laugh it off. He is a bit slow some times but is very patient and kind. He just wants everyone to have a good time.

Prompt reply: Well the stars heard the lonely little females wish and couldn't help but feel sympathy for her. They wanted to weep with the girl. So the stars gathered and talked among themselves. They decided that they would grant the girl her wish but she wouldn't know it and neither would the boy they sent to her. The star she wished on took it upon itself to create the male. He would fit her perfectly and be her opposite. So the star worked hard and sent him down to earth but a distance away for her field. This would give him time to adjust to life. Before the star left it whispered in his ear, "Your name is Mayonaka."

The star watched over them both. It lead Mayonaka threw the nights and kept Esha company in hopes that she wouldn't give up. Mayonaka followed the star every night until wee hours of the morning when he would than find somewhere to sleep. He didn't understand why but he felt this pull. Something in his head was telling him that he needed to follow the star. That it would lead him to where he belonged. This made him excited even if he really didn't understand why. So on his journey he would sing happy tunes to pass the time and keep him company.

On the last night the star shone brighter. Tonight was the night that they would meet. The little boy was in the forest that surrounded Esha's field of flowers. It couldn't wait to see what happened.

Mayonaka stumbled his way threw a forest. Even with his star shining above him guiding him to some unknown place it was still dark on the forest floor where he was traveling. He made it to the edge and spotted a beautiful field of flowers. He rushed forward to get a better look not seeing a tree's root sticking out of the ground and ended up face planting right into the ground. As he hit letting out a loud " Umph!" This caught the attention of Esha who was sitting on her rock. It surprised her because most slept during the night so she didn't get any visitors. She sniffed the air and found that it was an unknown person. She went over to investigate being unable to call out to the traveler.

A shadow drifted over Mayonaka. This finally made him pull his face out of the dirt. He looked up to see this beautiful female standing above him, her outlined glowed. He smiled at her "Hello there. Did you know your very pretty?" He didn't know where that came from but it felt right to say. Everything just felt right. He slowly sat up so not to bump her. His tail wagged behind him and he couldn't stop smiling. "My name is Mayonaka."

The star watched happily from the sky as the two started to interact. It felt that it had done a good job creating this little boy for her. And that was how it all started.

Name: Astraeus (Titan god of stars and astronomy)
Personality: Cheerful; child-like; optimistic; helpful; affectionate; energetic
Prompt: The first thing Astraeus saw was a dark blue sky filled with speckled lights. Wide eyes stared into the darkness. Vaguely, he could feel his long ears twitch and a lock of blond hair brushed against his cheek as he cocked his head. A shaky paw reached for one of the lights, but he quickly realized that he was far too small for the humongous task of grasping a star. He turned around, the bristles of grass tickling his fur. Astraeus giggled as he planted himself to the ground and pawed at the green blades. This is when he realized he had markings on himself.

“Hm?” He lifted a paw and stared at it with wide eyes, which curiously took in the gold swirls painted on his dark fur. A thought suddenly struck him like lightning. Did he have similar markings all over his body?! The idea sent him into a flustered panic. Astraeus stood on all fours and hastily attempted to examine the rest of his body. He spun around and around until he began to see stars—not quite like the ones that light up the sky—and he fell onto his back again. To calm his dizzy mind he shut his eyes and placed his paws over them to keep them closed. Astraeus rolled onto his side. “Uuu…”

Once the world stopped spinning something inside him urged him to look up at the sky again, so he did. The stars up above are tiny and far away, but their glow still comforted to him for some reason. He did not know for how long he lay in the grass star-watching, but he felt like he did it for a long time, for such a long time that it’s like he could hear them whispering in his ears. Astraeus, Astraeus. You have to get up and find her. Pouting, he rolled onto his stomach and sprawled across the grass. “Who?” You’ll know, Astraeus. You’ll know. It was a collection of soft voices that melted together. “Don’t wanna.” They were laughing quietly. Oh, but you have to, Astraeus.

He was already on all fours and softly treading through the grass. “Don’t wanna.” They chuckled.

Astraeus kept walking. Sometimes he stopped to stare at a pretty flower. Sometimes he stopped because he was tired, but still the stars gently whispered in his ear. Don’t go that way. You have to keep moving. So he did.

He wanted to stop. He really did. He was tired and he had been walking for…how long? He didn’t know, but it must have been for a very long time before he spotted something in the nearby distance. Astraeus lowered himself until he disappeared beneath the tall grass. He crept slowly through the grass until he was within pouncing distance.

Then he pounced.

Turns out he landed on a creature like himself. Astraeus cocked his head. What….Oh! “You have markings kinda like mine!” He pawed at a few of the glowing swirls before he slid off. Smiling, Astraeus reached out to bat at one of her ears. “I’m Astraeus.”
