This is the Dresgard Medical Center, As said, And as you know, Dresgard's shops and many other things contain very interesting stories. This Med-Center has the specialty of being on good terms with the Village of Shiva, So they are Transported goods from both Villages.

Alex Scriber awoke in a nice and comfortable bed. He pushed himself up and rubbed his eyes. He was in the cloths that he had worn in Forest of Gorgons. Covered in spider guts and blood of the raptor they had killed. He rubbed his eyes. "Where am I?" He read one of the signs nearby. "Draconic? That means we made it to The Draconian Village." He examined the room some more. He seemed rather tired... He must have drained his energy when he fought that spider. He remembers fighting it though perfectly, yet he was never attended. It was like he was back seat to... his guardian spirit. He looked around for Azura. His dragon guardian mustn't of had enough energy to stay while he was unconscious. "Azura?" He whispered to himself. His throat was a little sore. It was fairly raspy call. He was slightly worried for her, not really sure if she was alive or dead. He sat in the hospital bed and waited for some one to come.

Azura was fortunate to get the room next to Alex's and with a bed close to the window so she could look out in the garden like area where Izzy lay taking a nap of her own. It wasn't much longer til Azura drifted off to a light sleep herself, she assumed whatever concoction they had her drink had some sort of herb in it to help one sleep, and any deep scratches she had from the forest had been tended to and wrapped. She figured while she was here she should get some rest herself.
It was faint, but Azura heard the sound of her own name coming from the next room and she woke from her light slumber feeling better and rested. She yawned and stretched some of her muscles as she stood, then made her way out of the room and to the room where Alex was, "I am here." She smiled to him when she saw that he was awake, "How do you feel?"

"Exhausted... but I feel a lot better know that your safe." He gave a deep sigh of relief as he fell backwards on his bed. "Well... it looks like I will have to summon an actual familiar now..."

She smiled, "Indeed, and we're both alive, though I don't think I'll be traveling through that forest unless there's a whole contingent with me." When he mentioned something about summoning a new familiar she thought of the psuedo dragon, "Hmm.... Hopefully one more trustworthy, I didn't like the way that little dragon slinked away into the shadows leaving us." She shrugged, "But what's done is done. But you think you can hold off using magic for a few days? You still need to recover." She frowned, "What about that dragon, your... ex familiar, out of curiosity, what's happened to him?"

He looked up to her. "He never really was my familiar, that is just how I looked at him after a few years of him teaching me some of his dragon rituals. Good thing he did I guess" He pivoted his body until his feet could touch the floor. He wasn't sure if he was ready to stand quite yet. "I know it is kind of like cheating, but I never summoned my first familiar because have 2 pets would have been suspicious. Besides, I kind of enjoyed his presence when he didn't try to leave me in dangerous places alone." He sighed, he did miss him a little bit. "Your right though, I probably shouldn't use magic today. Maybe I will just rest and study today. Keep on the safe side of things." He said with regret and a sigh. His first week out and he is already drained of energy.

"I see." She walked to the window and looked out, Izzy was still sound asleep in the middle of the garden and she smiled. Then she turned back to Alex, "That sounds like a sound idea to me." She smiled, "But first," She held a taloned finger up to be sure to get his attention, "How does getting something to eat sound?"

His stomach grumbled loudly as he now just realized he was famished. Chuckling a little as he stood up slowly to be sure that he didn't fall. His knee's buckled a little as he felt a mental shock that made him fall back down in his bed. He held his head for a moment getting dizzy. "Uhg... I can't believe this is happening..." He mumbled as he looked over to Azura. She was just a blotch of mixed colors and shapes. He spoke louder so he could hear her properly. "Food would be great..."

She smiled again hearing his stomach growl from where she stood, but she didn't say anything to him about it, she watched him stand, then rushed forward as she assumed his legs went out from under him and he fell back on the bed. She stood next to him her head cocked to the side, "Are you alright?" A pause as she had a thought, "Maybe you should stay here tell me what you would want and I could go get some food and bring it to you." Another pause, "But if you insist on walking I would gladly assist you."

"I would appreciate if you got me some, I don't feel very well." He looked over to her, but it was like she wasn't beside him, but still at the window, yet he could hear her beside him. "I think I better rest longer... he said as he laid back down over the covers. He waved his hands in front of him but he couldn't see his hands. He sighed. This first symptom had started, and he wasn't even a full wizard yet.

She nodded to him, "Then I will be back soon." She watched him lay back down again, then his movements. She was concerned for his well being wondering if he was well, then turned and silently left the room without making a sound and headed down to the mess hall of the medical center to get some food for herself and Alex. ((hope its ok if I just time skip...)) * * * Azura walked to the doorway, and since she was holding a tray full of food she used her foot gently scraping her talon against the door frame to announce her arrival. "Alex? I've come back with some food." She moved aside letting another person she had found who moved out a little table next to the bed so Alex wouldn't have to go very far then left the room. Azura made her way to the table and set down the tray with its assortment of meats, cheese, fruits, and vegetables. The one plate that was piled full of fruits and veggies she took off the tray since that was her meal she had made for herself, "I wasn't sure exactly what it was you liked so I got a little bit of everything."

He looked over to the sound of her walking around and the tray hitting the table. Walking over to the table he held himself still with one hand and felt for the tray ,then felt for the tray. Looking down at the food, he noticed that what he was looking at was a deep blackness. He could feel the food trying to find the cheese. He sighed in frustration as he finally grasped the cheese. He closed his eyes. A tear running down his eye. "Thanks..." He said as he slowly backed up and sat down on the bed again. Wiping his watering eyes as he was sure he had. He noticed that when he looked back outside. It was also a deep black, as he hadn't looked at the window yet. He was slightly disturbed by this. The last confirmation he needed to know. "Looks like I don't have a whole lot of time left in this world..." He let out a defeated sigh.

She had just seated herself as Alex stood up, she sat still worried as his hand searched first for tray then for food, she briefly forgot about her own for the moment as she watched him intently until he sat back down. "You welcome." At his last words she became alarmed and immediately stood up, fortunately she remembered her plate of food at the last moment and managed to save it before food and plate clattered to the floor. "What's that supposed to mean?" She also felt Izzy stir through their mental link and the emotion of curiosity and concern as to why Azura was so alarmed. She set the plate down on a side table and came over to sit next to him on the bed facing him reaching for his hand, careful not to scratch him with her talons. "Alex what's going on? Why are you moving around as though you cannot see what you are doing? If there is anything I can do to help you just tell me and I will help you."

He looked over to her visually crying. Looking into the black void sitting beside him that he knew was her. "There isn't a cure for what I have, and only the gods have the knowledge to cure it... and I doubt they are going to smile upon me." He said as he smirked a little. Looking back at the ancient draconic text book he brought. "ixen shochraos... I am curious to know if you have an answer." His eyes flashed red.
The dragon stuck his head through the wall. Even this strange sickness could not stop him from being visible to his master. "You going to let summoners sickness kill you huh? Do not worry wyrmling, I know a solution to your problem, you may not like it, but it is your only out from becoming like the many others.
Alex looked at the dragon. He was visible to Azura and could hear what he said. "What could be worse than summoners sickness?"
The dragon huffed. "You are right, this burden is not nearly as bad as what fate had in store for you. Though it will still be your responsibility if you choose to accept the burden."
Alex nodded again. "Of course."
Ixen Shochraos nodded to agree with him. "You must get outside then. Only then will you have enough space to perform the ancient rites. Soul Entwine is an ancient rite that allows my soul to merge with yours."
Alex raised a brow. "How does that help me with my sickness?"
Ixen Shochraos shook his head. "Wizards these days know nothing now do they?" He looked back at him. "We will become one, and you will have two pools of energy to draw upon. Mine and yours. So when we merge, you will use mine and recover yours. Think of it as a dragon having second breath."

Azura looked down at the ground when he said that there was no cure, then jumped back when a dragons head appeared and actually knocking her food plate to the floor. She was unsure what to do next, but then recognized the dragon as the one who had disposed of the spider back in the forest and relaxed herself as she listened to the dragons and Alex's conversation, when they were done she looked from one to the other, then looked directly at the dragon. "Will Alex still be himself after this..." She waved her hand back and forth between them, "..Transformation, or spell?"
She felt Izzy stir from her nap but she sent the image of what she saw before her but told her friend that there was nothing to worry about and that everything was fine. She felt the Roc settle but remained awake in case she was needed for something.
