The tunnel you chose is lit by a single twisting line of light. It veers sharply several times, leading you deeper into the rock until you can hardly remember what direction you started from. Pretty soon you see a layer of frost on everything - the walls, the floor, your clothes. In the distance you hear rumbling.

"T-t-tiamat's s**t it's cold here," Jericho murmured while pulling his cloak tight. He would give anything to be sitting in his room right now, where it was nice and hot. Complete with a lava pool and all. But no. He was out here in the cold. Bits of frost were all over the place and he did not like it one bit. Though, he soon paused as he heard a distant rumble.
"...Anyone hear that?"
Perhaps now was not a good time to be breathing flames down the hall; a thought that had come to mind to try and warm this place up. No, that seemed like a poor idea now that he had the worry the cave was going to be coming down onto them. Maybe it was just his imagination. It wouldn't be the first time he heard things.
Then again, he usually heard voices. Not... rumbling.

Yes, It was cold in here. And while cold was not something that bothered Poke most of the time, considering water could be very cold, the thin layer of frost on everything was making her consider if she should have stayed and looked for her pin. But then being in her natural form would be a better option, wouldn't it? Screw it, she felt more comfortable at the moment considering there were giant bone creatures running about. She could even hear a faint rumbling. Was it a giant creature moving about? "Yeah, I hear it" She growled, the fins on her back arching to make her appear more threatening to any approaching enemy.

Ulmuka's talons simply scratched and slid in the frost. THAT WOULD NOT DO.
The massive owl creature had taken to the air, trying to stay with the group without going too far ahead. The distant rumbling was a bit foreboding but he simply observed now, with nothing of consequence to say.

Ok, so it wasn't just him then. Jericho frowned somewhat. He didn't like the sound of distant rumbles, no. Huddling his cloak closer to his body, the dragon glanced back at a few of the others that had chosen this path in particular.
"Any idea.. what it might be?" he asked.
---
"A grand beast to slay of course!" Tseng chimed in. The conquest horseman was getting cold, yes, but he was doing his best to keep himself warm by jogging around. Since he didn't want to run ahead of everyone else, he ended up sort of running place now and then.
"What else could it be? We have already defeated one such creature. There are bound to be more! Let them come I say."

Ulmuka tried his best to extend his keen senses but the cold and frost put a damper on mostly everything.
"I cannot tell.." He hooted from above. "It's a bit too cold for me to pick anything up.."
The strix landed again on the frosty ground near the group. He had a slididng moment until his talons sunk into the frost. "We are in a mountain though, yes? Could be natural or ... not."

Mmur followed along more slowly, the cold creeping up on the horseman again. He really needed to find something to cover his feet, especially in this... frost? Great. He hobbled along after the rest of the group as carefully as he could, listening to the deep rumbling up ahead. Whatever it was, he was still certain he could put up a fight if it was unfriendly.

The strix hobbled back for the horseman from earlier. He had to be careful on the frost since he was sliding quite a bit. "Are you cold?" His head tilted, turned at a strange angle while his body remained perfectly straight. "I can provide body heat!" He opened a wing, offering his thickly feathered and broad body. To some this would seem an intimate gesture but to the strix, simple courtesy.

Petro wasn't sure how deep this tunnel went but it felt like they've been walking for hours. The darkness didn't help in distorting his sense of time, no stars, no sun, no clear indication to denote how much time had passed. He kept to the back of the line, his herding instincts kicking in.

The horseman thought about it. He really did. But in the end, he decided to man up and keep plodding along on his own. He did have this ginormous borrowed coat, after all, and if he wanted to make it in Halloween, he probably should get used to their comparatively wild swings in weather. Or invest in some shoes. "It is appreciated, Ulmuka. You look very warm." He reached out to pat the boil on a wing. "But I'll be fine. Especially if there are more things to fight."

Muka snickered a bit, a natural reaction, and patted the horsemen back with his wing. A soft but gusting motion that was probably rougher than he intended. "If you say so!"

Tyshina ran into the tunnel as fast she could and she could hear some voices and footsteps ahead. She slowly followed the sound as she looked around the area she had arrived in. There was hard;t any light in here and there was so much rock. Rock, rock, and more rock it seemed. "Hmm... well this is an interesting place," she said under her breath as she continued to walk,"I do hope I can catch up with everyone though.." With that she just continued to walk, with her eyes full of curiosity.

The cold that seemed to be slowing down some of the others was actually welcome for the horsewoman of death. Her home had been cold and dark, and this was very familiar to her. So although she'd lagged behind the group as they'd entered the tunnel, it had taken her no time at all to catch up. Even catching the exchange between the owlish looking student and the famine horsemen she'd spotted earlier. "Wise of you, but will you be of any use to us if you've frozen solid?" Although she wasn't known for being a very pleasant individual, Neru's tone in this instance was nothing but good natured.

The horseman stumbled forward under Ulmuka's strong wing pat, his breath poofing out in a chuckle. He wondered briefly if summoning his mount would bring him any relief, but he decided it was unlikely. Technically, it would still be his bare feet on the ice. Mmur turned to look at the death horseman as she approached, only just stopping himself from curiously craning his head to one side in a mirror of the monster student. He gave Nergui a short bow, a cheerful grin still on his lips. "I suppose not. Hopefully we will find our way out of here before it comes to that." His bowing had grown less severe in the weeks since he'd come to Halloween, but the soldier still wasn't comfortable being the first to introduce himself to a priestess.
